  1. chazz is right, Silver Spoons will be taking Black Bauers place at CTU.
  2. I'm not sure if Jim appreciated the ball-busting. I mean, he was laughing and stuff but I think there was some frustration there too.
  3. Overeem fans everywhere are banding together to ensure that I hate him. The amount of people picking Overeem in this fight is nuts. Do they not know that Shogun put a serious hurtin' on Overeem before?
  4. Jim might have some seriously built-up anger towards Roy so I can see this being the one time that he nuts up and does something. I'd also enjoy seeing Dwight interfere on Jim's behalf and possibly KO'ing Roy with some sort of karate maneuver. Jim having to live with the knowledge that Dwight saved him would be tremendous.
  5. So, how does everybody see Jim vs Roy going down? My scenario is Roy barging in on the entire office and confronting Jim about his feelings. Jim is obviously uncomfortable with Karen being there but he's not going to let Roy talk him down so he stands up for himself by making Roy look like he is completely clueless as to who Pam really is. Roy cold-cocks Jim and gets fired and Karen gets freaked the fuck out by Jim and maybe/maybe not breaks up with him.
  6. Purple monkey dishwasher.
  7. I'm a bit disappointed that we didn't get to see the personal hell that Ryan is now living through near Kelly but overall it was a very solid episode with some serious LOL moments. - Dwight popping up from the backseat and in the rocking chair - CREED MOTHERFUCKING BRATTON. - 40 Year Old Virgin gets a shout-out with the magic camp reference - Roy's freak-out, capped off by Kenny smashing the barstool - Toby being reminded that he has a daughter I can't be the only one thinking that the CFO was going to offer Jim Michael's job when they were out shooting hoops.
  8. Have at it. The dude who plays Graham was on ER at the time. And Mandy was given Presidential Immunity in Season Four so her photo, info etc. are all on file with the gov't.
  9. Mandy was definetly NOT talking to Graham on the phone. And I think that somebody, anybody would notice the fact that somebody who attempted to kill President Palmer just strolled right into their bunker like nothing was going on.
  10. No fucking way. Like, 100% no fucking way it's Mandy. In fact, it's wishful thinking but beyond stupid for people to even believe that it could be her.
  11. Until we find out how Locke got in his wheelchair I'm saying the flashbacks have a purpose. And until we get a Ben flashback about what he was doing in Season Two when Rosseau captured him. And I loved last night. Complete opposite reaction from last weeks episode.
  12. Man, this is some pathetic dedication and work.
  13. Maybe because most Muslims don't. But keep up the chatter.
  14. Gee Christ. This was a great, great movie. Super-great. I saw him in Murder By Numbers and didn't think he was that bad and I wasn't totally opposed to The Notebook either but I felt it did him more harm then good but in this movie Ryan Gosling realizes his potential and delivers a five-star performance. There isn't a wasted moment or motion in his performance and he captivates the screen better then any recent performance by a young actor that I can think of or anybody else would care to name. But unfortunately he had to share screen time with a young actress name Shareeka Epps who lives up to his performance, if not eclipsing it. The story for those who don't know is about a young junior-high teacher in Brooklyn who teaches history. He's also a crack addict and one day one of his students (Epps) catches him fixing. What follows is a strangely fascinating relationship between two people who are affected by the drug trade and it's effects on their environment. I haven't seen any of the other films in Best Actor but this Sunday I'm gonna be hoping Gosling somehow pulls up the massive upset and takes it. And after seeing this movie I can't give two shits about Jennifer Hudson OR Helen Mirren for that matter because Epps slayed the female acting market in 2006 with this beauty. Go fucking see it. For reals.
  15. Mohinder is pretty much the dumbest genius ever.
  16. I think 24 has shown us that anybody is capable of murder. I mean, if Chloe can bust out the AK and go house on somebody, anyone can.
  17. No. I'd hold the world hostage.
  18. It better not be that smarmy bitch Miles from season five.
  19. I'm almost pissed off enough at Randy for coming back that I want him to get murdered in a really brutal fashion. Then I remember he's facing Tim Sylvia and my anger for Randy is overridden by my anger for Sylvia being such a shitty champion.
  20. Randy's reaction time was visibly slower in the Van Arsdale and Chuck fights and even though Sylvia is slower then those guys I think Randy is going to struggle with getting inside on Tim long enough to grab a leg or get the clinch. His only real hope is circling on the outside in the first few rounds with the occasional leg kick and counter-punch mixed in and hopes that Sylvia wears himself out from all the jabs he'll no doubt be throwing. People will point to Sylvia going 5 rounds with Monson as proof of his gas tank but Randy will push a very high pace and it'll be very interesting to see how Tim responds to it. Having said that, Sylvia, KO R3. Sorry, Randy. Cro-Cop beating Tim by KO will be for the best.
  21. Like Edwin said.......that ending. Hoo-boy. Grimy bearded Logan should be a treat next week. And I am very much anticipating the arrival of Reeds inside man. I'm trying to think of evil Gov't figures in the past few seasons that have been off the radar but I'm drawing a blank.
  22. I can't even fathom how anybody could consider the episode just "decent". Sure, it started off slowly but when it picked up it never stopped. - Peter ran that entire thing, back to front. Using the telekinesis to stop Claude from whacking him with the staff and preventing the stun gun prods from getting to him had me freaking the fuck out. Him throwing Claude off the roof and flying after him was the icing on the cake. - I like the gal who can manipulate electronic signatures. Her and Nukie make a good team and with Parkman added to the mix next weeks interrogation of HRG should be very interesting. - If Peter hadn't brought the awesome that episode would've been Sylars. Can he call upon past powers like Peter or is he stuck with the one he last absorbs? - Hiro's powers coming back (and then some) was a mark-out moment. - The revelation that those with abilities can be tracked once they've been implanted with the isotope was a pretty big one. I do not, however, like the idea of them ripping off X-Men with the whole "cure" storyline that Mohinder mentioned.
  23. You'd have to tell us how you view rankings. I think Shogun taking out Rampage, Rogerio, Overeem and Arona in less then a year bests Chuck's victories over Horn, Randy, Babalu and Tito in the past two. There also needs to be consideration paid to the fact that Shogun was unranked in the top ten before the MW Grand Prix and by the time it was over he was a legit top five 205'er. I think Shogun has also looked better in victory then Chuck, he smashed the fuck out of three of the four opponents he faced and handed Nog his first ever MMA loss. You can also argue that Shogun has faced much tougher competition in his short career whereas Chuck took out a bloated Horn, a past-his-prime Couture and a guy with a dumbshit gameplan in Babalu. People consider the Tito victory impressive but Tito didn't do anything of note before he got his title shot. All of the guys Shogun took out were easily top tenners and in the case of Rogerio and Arona, top fivers. If you want to do a point-by-point analysis of their respective disciplines, Shogun is overall the more complete fighter but it's a moot point because Chuck is more or less a kickboxer whereas Shogun can bring it on every level. Wow, my Shogun love is really shining through here. I don't care, I've been saying (not necessarily around here) that if Shogun and Chuck faced off Shogun would fuck his shit up. A lot of people have been slowly falling off the Shogun bandwagon after his performance against Nakamura on NYE but I'm still up ons.
  24. Godfuckindammit.
  25. Best EVER? You'd seriously put that episode up against Deus Ex Machina or Confidence Man?
