So I'm guessing that The Invisible Limey once worked with HRG and either broke out or was taken care of because of something he knew. Either way, good plot twist. I fucking fucking fucking HATE that Nathan is Claire's dad. Just seemed like something they wrote in because they didn't know what else to do. Either way that girl has some shitty parents. A dad who cheats on his wife AND lets her crash into a divider, effectively paralyzing her and a mom who abandoned her in a burning house.

I was hoping to hear a "Cocksucker!" over the speakerphone when Palmer rejected the plan. Am I the only one who thinks that the endgame of the bad guys this season is to get the President to suspend Habius Corpus and that's when the real threat is revealed?

Cro-Cop, Submission, Round 2. I don't even see Mirko wasting his time trying to KO Cheick on his feet and just taking him down and tapping him.

_Bumped_ Sulu~! Dr. Who~! Fire Hands~! Monday nights have all of a sudden become kick-ass with the 3 hour block of goodness that is Prison Break/Heroes/24.

Winnipeg is probably the most shit-talked of all Canadian cities. On more then one occasion it's been referred to as the armpit/asshole/taint of Canada. All it seemingly has is lots of car theft, gasoline addicts and a pretty high alcoholism rate.

MMA Comments that Don't Warrant a Thread

No. Just some. -
So, maybe somebody with a better historical mind can educate me here. There are currently three armies being amassed: Brutus, Marc Antony and Ocvatian. Now, I know that Brutus and Cassius were forced out of Rome after the fall of Gaius Julius Cesar so they're coming back to get revenge? Or for another reason? And Octavian is the 'new' Cesar so he's got his own legion of men and now he's coming back to "make the Republic pay"? Is he talking about the money he's owed as Julius's heir or something else? And why the fuck did Antony leave?

How does he "hate" on Anderson?
-
Fuck that.

World-class dancing ability as well. Whadja think of Griffin/Edgar, Tong?
-
Yeah, this turned into a self-love fest pretty quick.

Kioke with tears running down her face after Fedor's first pounding of Nog is one of the greatest reaction shots in MMA history. And she's got some nice tats.

Yeah, I noticed that too. Meltzer is such a fucking tool, btw. "Cro Cop came out to the Pride theme song. The fact he's doing that in some form may be a hint to what will be the biggest news story in this industry of 2007. Live it didn't appear anyone understood the significance of that." Yeah, Dave, we know. UFC wants to buy PRIDE. You're not breaking any new ground here.

Dames was a chubby spic, not a fat spic.

Halverston is a bitch. Right after Huerta hits the knee and Lavinge tells him "Watch the knee" he immediately goes limp, clearly hoping that the fight would've been stopped. I doubt there was even 50% contact with the head, majority of the blow landed on the shoulder.
-
I know Edgar won the fight but the fight should've been stopped when his knee popped TWICE. Between the groin shot and letting it go on after the kneebar it was clearly established that Steve Mazzagatti is a fucking horrible ref. I'll likely yell a drunken insult at him at the TKO show this week if he's reffing it.
-
Hopefully Edgar not tapping out to Griffin's rolling kneebar was worth it because even though he won the fight his leg is probably going to need surgery to fix all of the tendons that got torn to shit. benn- No, Cro-Cop and Arlovski have never danced before. It's being looked at as a potential #1 Contenders fight down the road, depending on who wins Couture/Sylvia.
-
Fuck the haters, this night was a success. Rampage and Cro-Cop came across as superstars, Silva showcased his skills and beat the challenger where he was doubted to and added great emotion to it. Just so we're clear, Griffin/Edgar is the FOTY right now. Sweet Jesus that was nuts. The fuck was up with Stevie Mazz telling Griffin to fight through a ball shot?

Is everything "supposed to happen" on this show? Office fans seem to struggle with admitting a show wasn't good more then most TV show fanbases and I'm not just talking about on this board, all over the 'net whenever something gets questioned the common reply is "They meant to write that" or "You're supposed to believe them" or something like that.

Lutter loses 10% of his purse, 5% for the NSAC and 5% to Silva.
-
Dana will shit a chicken if Lutter wins somehow. The crowd will be out for blood tommorow night and if Silva doesn't deliver it's going to really hurt the overall show.

Not enough Packster in this one for me, seeing as how you hear "Packer" and "Strippers" you tend to let your mind run away with you.

Happy Birthday to me.

I'm on the fence on this one because I felt the Pam/Jim/Karen thing fucked up the flow of what was otherwise a competent episode. Pam's sleep speech was weird and the Pam/Karen confrontation seemed forced. So, Jim tells Karen he still has feelings for Pam and they just.....work it out? Just like that?
