  1. Ever heard of the concept of talking a big game because you are compensating for something? Classic example right there. And that's not a bias, it's proven. If you can't see that then...well...it's pretty obvious who's biased here.
  2. BJ is certainly going overboard on the shit-talking. He wasn't even on Sherk this badly. Scared.
  3. A = ATT? Anywho, in regards to the situation of UFC 96's main event a poster on the underground forums that works for Zuffa has shot down Rampage/Rashad for the show so it's either Chuck vs TBA or the buyrate killa of Gonz/Carwin.
  4. This one gets filed under "Huh? They were still alive?".
  5. Or that, yeah. Sherk beating Griffin IMO makes him the #2 behind Florian in that division but Sanchez vs Florian would be a great fight too.
  6. Agreed on all fronts but the biggest problem IMO is that people don't/can't find bargains in regards to healthier food that still tastes good. I'm not in the best financial state and while I'd love to eat healthy all the time it's hard to justify spending upwards of 10 bucks on a meal or ingredients when I can snag two double-cheeseburgers from McD's for under 3 bucks.
  7. I still have yet to hear confirmation from Dana that Penn vacates the LW belt if he wins. If he does I'd imagine the UFC does Sherk vs Florian II. If Penn beats GSP and retains the belt then yes, Florian is next in line for a LW shot.
  8. I know, I know. And to think you still haven't processed 9/11.
  9. When you're half black/white can you really use the phrase "my people"?
  10. So, the other night in the span of 2 hours watching television I saw 3 separate commercials for food where they directly made a reference to our current economic state. The first was for Subway repping the $5 Footlong, the second was from Quizno's where they used the phrase "bailout" in regards to cheap sandwiches and the third was for Hamburger Helper. In that one the H.H hand was helping a housewife work out her budget and in the end they come to the realization that it's a cheap, hearty and delicious meal for the whole family. Found this all pretty interesting. I mean, in the past we've all seen commercials advertising deals on food but this is the first time that I can remember food companies outright mentioning and, to an extent, exploiting peoples fears about money. Has anybody else noticed this? Be it on t.v, at a local diner etc..?
  11. I'll give you Franklin/Okami under the "Really shouldn't be a Main" category but Chuck vs Jardine was made because 1) Chuck draws and 2) They thought it'd be an easy comeback fight for him. Bisping/Evans was a last-minute decision because they couldn't negotiate with Tito for a second fight with Rashad. I'm still going to operate under the assumption that we'll be hearing Rashad vs Rampage for the March PPV because, unless it's a free card (which it won't be because 95 is) this PPV is going to bomb like Hiroshima. Which is a shame because there are some legitimately good fights on it and I'd hate to see talents like Carwin, Miller, Hazlett and others get wasted on a show nobody sees.
  12. Time to hit up Church and Wellsley and get that dough.
  13. TRILLAAAAAAAAAAA
  14. It, at the very least, should provide some interesting moments. I'm sure at some point Tony's going to do something to make Jack think that he's still working for the bad guys.
  15. I'm sure encouragement was needed.
  16. Christ, if woke up hungover and the first thing I put in my stomach was milk I'd likely puke instantly.
  17. That's gotta be a joke. A guy who's 2-2 in his last four versus a guy who, up to this point has only been on prelim's with one being shown back in May? Fuuuuuuck that.
  18. Chuck Liddell vs TBA Jim Miller vs Gray Maynard Dustin Hazeltt vs Ben Saunders Shane Carwin vs Gabriel Gonzaga Brandon Vera vs Mike Patt Jason Day vs Kendall Grove Shane Nelson vs Aaron Riley Ryan Jensen vs Steve Steinbess Marc Bocek vs David Beilkheden Tim Botesch vs Jason Brillz Mark Munoz vs Matt Hamill Pete Sell vs Matt Brown
  19. Well, it WAS the greatest performance in the history of cinema.
  20. Ledger winning won't surprise me but I just hope he doesn't to see the internet have a collective aneurysm.
  21. Seconded. Nobody doesn't like Rich Franklin.
  22. Milk wins Best Picture, bet that shit. Hollywood be sendin' a message about the gays getting hitched.
  23. It's a serious question. You need to pick an answer.
