I agree w/ what you said about the #30 entrant, Corey. It's always been built up as the "can't loose" position IMO makes the entrant themself look weak when they can't pull it off, Goldberg and Taker being the last two to have that honour. Your Eddy scenario works well but it's a red herring. #30 never wins because frankly nobody wants to see somebody come in and win the whole thing 10 minutes later. Last years Rumble was probably the best example of how to build a story throughout the match but not allow it to dominate while still referring back to it.

The Hick is going full-blown babyface soon, I'm calling that one. The scene with him reading the letter gave him a sense of lonliness and he looked kinda sad. More potential then any new show that's come along in years and years. The fact that the creepy backgammon dude could end up being some kind of psycho bounty hunter is just boss.

Loved it, not as good as TOTBL by any stretch of the imagination but a worthy follow-up and one that does a good job of expanding on the bands talents, musically and lyrically. While (like Edwin said) it doesn't have the perpetual gloom or dark sound that TOTBL had, it still mananges to churn out a bunch of really solid numbers, including Take You On a Cruise, which IMO is one of their best songs to date. The only track that stumbles is Length of Love, which gets too bogged down in Pauls murky vocals to ever amount to anything.
