As much as I love DAVE I doubt that the show was moved because of a potential face reaction.

So is Inc dead or what? -
Why is this thread still open?

I'm here for you, dude. At least for another 15 minutes or so before I go play X-Box. Did you ever find anybody to grab weed off of? -
Anybody who thinks Undertaker is being "fed" to Bradshaw doesn't know Undertaker very well. When was the last time he was "fed" to anybody?

"Benoit deserves better" "This Game is retarded" "Flair: Still crazy after all these years" "MUGATaker" "Who the fuck is that? Wait, it's Paul London."

The story quite obviously had an ending, you just didn't catch it. The "ending" in question was Tracey breaking away from Evie and coming into her own as a young woman. Not exactly a barnburner but an ending none the less and one that fit in pretty well with the story.

Late night talk show shakeup coming..

Chapelle just signed on for another two years and loathes the big three networks so there's zero chance of him showing up. Just as well for him, it wouldn't be the same Dave Chapelle if he was censored. -
does this sentence make sense? Alittle bit, he just mistaked a few words. *testing the icon* Your avatar is wrong. A Stardust Press is a corkscrew 450. That's a corkscrew moonsault.

How do you think WWE will end the Kane/Lita angle?

Have at it. -
If a 12 year old spit on me it would be a throwdown, no questions asked. Who WOULDNT kick a kids ass if they spit on you?

Things like the Diva Search don't have payoffs. Just punishment. Unless Joy does a porno. That's a payoff.

On 6-06-06, we'll have a lot of pissed off people

Fake. Any legit movie project would have studio or production labels all over it. -
You're asking for logic from the guy who thinks people want Orton as champ?

I've been behind (and will continue to be behind) Colin and Christie since Day One because of their disgusting focus and drive. The cracks are appearing in the relationship, though and one wrong moment could fuck them up bad.

The OAO Hard Sell for SummerSlam thread 08.09.04
Lord of The Curry replied to BHK's topic in The WWE Folder
Holy shit I feel bad for people who paid money for SS tickets. DODGEBALL? The only thing that would save that show is Vince Vaughn and Ben Stiller showing up and teaching those Diva's how to really play dodgeball. -
That was quite the darn good musical show. Head Automatica opened the show on the second stage. Meh. The lead singer was fronting like he was a rock star while singing which I wasn't feeling. The man was no rock star. Mogwai after that on the main stage, good stuff, what I expected from them. No vocals, prompting many around me to speculate that maybe the mics were broken. The highlight of this performance was after they finished approx. 50 seagulls did a fly-by of the lawn section and sent us all scrambling for cover. Cooper Temple Clause played the second after that, who rocked bells. I don't really know much about them currently other then they're British and have a somewhat electronica/industrial sound. The Rapture played on the main stage after this. I wasn't really paying too much attention to them because I was talking with my friend. Some people got up and danced. They used a saxophone, which ruled. They looked like they were having fun. Auf Der Maur aka Melissa Auf Der Maur up on the second stage. Not a bad set, her funky swaying movements while playing are quite asthetically pleasing in person. When the wasn't singing she was dancing around in a very sensual manner. Cheap pop when Melissa mentions she's the only Canadian act on the tour and we're the only Canadian stop. Then we have INTER-FUCKING-POL on the main stage and the boys own the shit out of everything. They hit up some stuff from TOTBL (PDA, Roland, Obstacle 1) along with the new single "Slow Hands" and stuff from the upcoming release Antics. These kids are damn good. Muse played the second stage after this but I opted for a beer and pretzel instead, remembering Inc's comments about how only girls listen to Muse. Finally, The Cure takes the main stage. Pop of the night. T.O loves us some Cure. Awesome set w/ the crowd singing along to all the old favorites like Love Song and Killing an Arab and some new stuff mixed in which sounded good. THERE YA HAVE IT

T.O needs Cito Gaston back up in this piece.

You bring up a really good point Loss. I'm slowly in the process of attempting to convert my best friend into a wrestling fan. For the most part, the matches I've shown him have centered around two wrestlers: Chris Benoit and Rey Mysterio. I picked Rey to show him how fun wrestling can be to watch. Cruiserweights have the most cross-over appeal to non-fans in terms of how quickly they can get over. All it takes is a good hurricanrana or 450 splash to get a non-fan into the match sometimes and that's what happened with my friend. He's more into Benoit, though, I think because what Benoit does in the ring always comes across as legit, hard and athletic. When watching other matches my friend will sometimes point out how fake a strike looks or how contrived a spot is. That doesn't happen when we're watching Benoit matches.

It's 10:30 a.m, I'm supposed to be working but I can't do it. I'm at work, surrounded by tons of movies I love and Spongebob is playing on tv. And it doesn't matter. Because they're not Collateral. The Jazz Club scene is growing as a favorite of mine, partly based on Daniels story about Miles Davis. It fit in so well with Cruise and Fox's relationship ("You're good, but not good enough yet").
-
Oh. Oh yeah. That's good movie. (Spoilers within) Best film I've seen since Return of The King. Top 20 of All Time easily. Cruise's performance? A Top 10 without a doubt. You didn't just watch this movie, you felt this movie. Mann's filmaking is such that he has a way of forcing the audience to adjust to his perspective on things ie. close ups where the subject is halfway in the shot and such. Tom Cruise's eyes are the best example of that in this movie. They take up the entire room. They don't miss a beat and they know what exactly is happening. The scene in the club was just complete 100% domination and skill. Beautifully executed scene. Cruise just fucked that movie's shit up. He owned it with his eyes and his hands and his body movement. He owned it with the way he does double-tap shots that are 5 mm apart. He owned it in the way he charmed the fuck out of Ida. The club performance is one that will go down in history as one of the best (and most stylish) shoot-up scenes. Fucking deadly. The music fit beautifully. I dug the coyote Audioslave vibe. Mann gets props for using The Roots and lots of dramatic operatic-style music to enhance the scenes and give the background a life. 2004 could very well be known as the year that Jaime Foxx solidified himself as a leading dramatic actor. I'll be there on opening night for Ray thanks to his ass-whopping turn in this. When he told Felix's henchman to put his gun away was a choice moment in a movie full of them. Felix himself, as Rudo said "Can cut a good promo". The story was wicked awesome. Good supporting work by Ruffalo and JPS. I really liked the way Jada looked in the cab ride with Jaime at the beggining and I don't usually dig her. Ruffalo had a really quiet intensity to his character and I'm kinda wishing we saw a Vincent/Ruffalo showdown but it upped Vincent's badass quotient X50 when he capped him. And to think this baby comes out on DVD in December. Merry Christmas, TSM.

Fuck Mr. Kent and Co. for ruining all the fun. Any kinda hype I had for X3 is now dead.
