Like someone said, Vader was terribly stiff in the ring. He damn near killed Ken Shamrock in one of their matches and stiffed everyone he wrestled. Vince was still up the Kliq's ass so he didn't tolerate Vader's stiffness and inability to sell others' offense. On a minor note, I read Vader had a body odor problem. He didn't stink when I met him. But apparently his body and his gear stunk so badly that he would leave a stench behind in the ring after his matches.

I thought they were preparing Coach to take over for JR.

I used to have high expectations for the Smackdown side of the business. But over the last couple of months I've lowered my expectation and interest in that brand.

This is so not true. I saw commercials for the Rundown all over the place. I especially saw commercials for this movie on MTV, BET and programming that drew the WWE's target audience of 18-34 year old males.

I read that this film cost $97 million to produce. The opening box office figures are very important to producers and such in Hollywood as it tells them if the star is a box office draw. I think $20-25 million will be decent but not great for this film. However, I've noticed in recent weeks that people have not been going to the movies in droves since July.

Agreed. The Coach and Al were not integral parts of Steve's GM gimmick. Steph and Co could even write Coach/Al into believing Stevie's silly delusions of being GM. The angle could work if someone would simply give an half an effort to make it work.

Good Lord, does anyone know why she did this? Like Vyce said, the Stevie Night Heat angle was working and getting Richards over. His rise in popularity or the "SNH" nickname didn't hurt or affect anyone in any way. And she doesn't even keep up with one of her shows. How embarrassing.

Vince/WWE receives executive producer credits for every movie the Rock appears. That was a part of the deat when they sold the rights to his name. I don't know how long this arrangment will last.

That's not 100% true. When he was doing the Chyna/drag queen/Mae Young bit, he had gained quite a bit of weight. The company tried to humiliate him into quitting which is why they gave him those crazy angles.

As much as I like Mark Henry as a person, I must say he's one shitty wrestler. I knew he wouldn't amount to anything 7 years ago when he got injured and placed 11th in the Olympics. He has a huge ten year, multi-million dollar contract and Vince refuses to release him. I suspect he'll be around for three more years until his contract expires.

If I were a lesbian who was into butch black chicks, I'd definitely dig Shaniqua. I think she's an incredible athlete and has a lot of potential. But that name they gave her is awful. I think she'll go far.

I don't think Coach sucks as a commentator. He's effective at what he does, no more or less. I think he lacks charisma and that certain intangible that makes decent commentators good or even great. As for his heel turn, I agree with the author of this thread, it went from good to terrible. There is almost no change in his commentating style on HEAT which makes his turn appear pointless. His entire persona needed to change, including his style on HEAT.

I found the Brock/Zach segment to be boring as hell. On a side note, Papacita, Chyna's breasts look horrible in your sig.

I spend most of my free time alone. I went to Judgment Day in North Carolina and the next night's Raw in Greenville, SC by myself. I had a great time. Sure, it's better if you can go to a show with friends. However, most of my friends/acquaintances do not like wrestling.
