Wow, a season thread. Man, a moderator should pin this shortly, so that everyone can see it for the next SEVEN MONTHS.

Please, PLEASE enforce this template in the WWE folder.

THIRD worst drawing WWF champion of all time. ... ... ... Kevin Nash AND Sid, baby!

The Mercenaries?

Was that in the WWE Magazine, or the RAW magazine? I assume you mean the RAW magazine, which pretty much compromises the idea I've gotten from the magazine. In the last few months, they've done an comprehensive study and interview on Kurt Angle's neck injury, as well as the interview they did with Flair, which covered all of his NWA/WCW/WWF World Title reigns.

This is a great move... IF both brand magazines are more of a shoot than kayfabe.

Which is why Cena denied losing cleanly at No Mercy? A heel doesn't do that and NOT require a rematch. Cena/Brock at Backlash ::happy dance:: Most recent example of my point being true is Lesnar/Angle at Summerslam. ...and an on-going one with HHH and Goldberg on the other brand.

It's great to see everyone complain about a possible Angle/Benoit feud, but everyone's failed to see that the WWE CHAMPION wouldn't have a program if Angle/Benoit, Eddie/Chavo and Taker/Vince are the PPV match-ups. The projected matches for the PPV are Benoit/Lesnar, Angle/Cena, Vince/Taker and possibly Eddie/Chavo.

Week Six was the trading deadline. I'd assume they'd have to go through the waiver wire to make the deal.

Vince's decision to put the title on Bret, was on a whim. If Vince had talked it over with his colleagues, they SURELY would've shot down the title change that day. ...from Bret's shoot interview - - Shortly after this, Vince lost confidence in Flair for reasons that Bret didn’t know or particularly care about, and one morning before a TV taping in Saskatoon they sprung the idea on him of making him the champ. Bret, in retrospect, thinks that had it happened even a day after they planned it out, the political vultures would have had enough time to shoot it down and he never would have gotten it. Ric apologized for the relatively low quality of the matches they had. Bret didn’t like Ric’s here-and-there-and-everywhere psychology, but thinks he’s still a hell of a worker.

This is building to Benoit/Lesnar and the Angle/Cena rematch. Their issue wasn't resolved at No Mercy. Next week, Cena will cost Angle his #1 contendership shot, so Angle will ask for the blowoff match at Survivor Series.

As a serious question, have you seen the Austin/Foley WWF title rematch from Over the Edge? It was the turning point for Russo's brand of "Sports Entertainment" that worked on SOOOO many levels. If you haven't seen it yet, I URGE you to watch it.

Dallas beating Tampa Bay would not be an upset. Arizona defeating San Francisco...WOULD.

No, I was calling Goldberg an idiot for getting pissed over a statement that is true. Batista is bigger than Goldberg! Goldberg: No, he's not! Speaking of Goldberg, I talked to a few WWE employees yesterday that told me that they were shocked to hear Jim Ross say that Batista was “bigger than Goldberg”. Obviously, it’s a true statement, but Goldberg can be very protective of things like that. He is very into his character and all of its attributes. Pointing out someone has a better build than him could be taken the wrong way by the big man, especially when said wrestler lays a beat down on him. Where does it mention Goldberg getting angry about the comments?

They beat down Lawler? Why?

Why? You already misread the post and said that Goldberg was an idiot for something he DIDN'T do.

Nash worked only one match on RAW in the month of May, which was for the #1 contendership at the World title. I didn't know if Rudo was simply guessing or not, but he is in fact correct.
