  1. Angle's DVD will be chock-full of "Smackdown Six era" matches, given the settlement.
  2. Bunkhouse Stampede '88 (Long Island). EDIT: Beat to it. It wasn't a cage match (although the match directly after this was the Bunkhouse match).
  3. If it's clipped, I don't mind either way. Not anytime soon with the settlement enacted.
  4. Jericho doesn't have the same attachment to wrestling as Funk had. Terry kept coming back, just because he missed the feeling of stepping into the ring. Jericho will keep going for 8-10 more years, just because he has the charisma and appeal to last that long - the money makes it a viable option, too.
  5. Fuckkkk. Worst artist/band ever? Probably Snow...or Aqua, I guess.
  6. Yeah, HCTP also comes out on the 28th. My wallet will be empty as well. Other potential matches could just be on the Flair DVD, released two weeks later.
  7. Two weeks from tomorrow (the 28th). ...and the cover for the release...
  8. These are matches that categorize themselves as "old-school" cage matches. I'd assume that the WWE categorizes HITC's and Wargames as a natural "gimmick" match. EDIT: Anyone care to predict the last full match? I say Warrior/Rude from Summerslam 1990.
  9. Credit to Jarrett and the TNA executives who thought this angle up. This'll bring in alot of casual fans who are just naturally attracted to anything Hogan.
  10. So, the full matches are... Bruno Sammartino vs. Ivan Koloff (1975) Bob Backlund vs. Pat Patterson (1979) Bob Backlund vs. Stan Hansen (1981) Jimmy Snuka vs. Don Muraco (1983) Ric Flair vs. Dusty Rhodes (1986) Rock 'n' Roll Express vs. Andersons (1986) Shawn Michaels vs. Marty Jannetty (1993) Bret Hart vs. Owen Hart (1994) Triple H vs. Mankind (1997) Edge vs. Kurt Angle (2002) ...that makes 10 out of 11 that are confirmed. This is a MUST BUY. That ONE MATCH sold me on the DVD.

Brawling with his teammate? Judging by how ESPN showed the highlights, the 4 or 5 other guys in the bullpen came to the aid of Nelson AND were kicking the guy to the ground, by the time Garcia got there. On a side note: Martinez, Ramirez, Garcia and Zimmer were all fined today.

I agree wih the suspensions of Pedro, Zimmer and Garcia... Ramirez was too far from the mound to warrant a suspension. He made no effort to physically attack anyone on the field. Nelson was most likely provoked, defending himself against the Red Sox groundkeeper. What Garcia did, however, was over the top and unwarranted.
  13. I think it's "understood" among the boys that the main-eventers (at the moment) are the only ones who sit first-class. No one threw a hissy fit about it, either. That just put Silverman off as a guy who "disrespected the rules", which put him on thin ice, not only with the company, but with the boys backstage.
  14. Edge's has the sole distinction of having ***+ matches with Test, Regal, Storm and Christian, which coincidentally makes up all four members of the Un-Americans stable. I don't think anyone else on either roster have had ***+ matches with Christian and Test, let alone better workers in Storm and Regal.
  15. The Big Bossman. More specifically, the heel Bossman (decked out in all black.)

Posada was threatening Pedro from the bench, so Pedro responded with the finger motion towards his head (which we assume meant "I'll throw chin music to YOU too".) He'd DEFINITELY be suspended if he made it to the mound with a bat in hand. He held the bat in his hands for so long, because he wanted to make sure it was a "false threat' and a serious threat at a brawl (for the good of his team in future games, considering he'd be suspended). ...or that they'd be instantly suspended if Posada or Garcia were willing to mix it up with him. ...AFTER Zimmer had lunged at him. ...AFTER Pedro had side-stepped him. ...and he grabbed Zim by the jacket and pushed him straight down. Not a throw or a MMA move. from espn.com --- Martinez told ESPN Radio after the game that he is "completely" shocked by what happened on the field Saturday. He said Zimmer tried to hit him, so he tried to push him away. Martinez emphasized that he would never hit Zimmer. Why suspend either?
  17. It's worth the download for Angle going partial OLD SCHOOL~! with Taker cheering him on.
  18. I thought it was Jericho who Kane faced. From the Observer - WWE Edmonton House Show 10/12/2002 (Smackdown brand) WWE Rochester House Show 10/12/2002 (RAW brand)

    FUCK!

Prediction: After Gowen loses in a close match to Matt, Gowen shows obvious frustration with himself. Matt offers his hand out of respect for a good match, but Zach pushes it away. Later on, he swerves the crowd and interferes in the Vince/Stephanie match, costing Steph her job as GM. He THEN joins Matt and Shannon in the MF'er stable.

So if you don't agree with Zimmer lunging at Pedro, why are you chastising Pedro for defending himself? With tempers already high following a bench-clearing melee earlier in the game, Nelson took exception to Williams, who was waving a white flag in the bullpen in the ninth inning. The reliever told Williams he didn't like it, and the two started to fight. "He was standing in our bullpen waving the rally flag," Nelson said. "I told him if you're rooting for the Red Sox, why don't you go in their bullpen. He jumped in my face and tried to take a swing at me." Williams acknowledged pumping his fist twice while holding a white towel after the Red Sox turned a double play in the ninth inning, Steinberg said. "If that was in poor taste, or poor judgment, it certainly didn't warrant a beating," Steinberg said. Williams had cleat marks on his back and his arm, and he may have been kicked in the mouth, Steinberg said. He was recuperating at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, the Red Sox spokesman said. The Red Sox also said that two police officers in the bullpen backed Williams' story. McCarthy said police considered Williams the victim in the fight. After Nelson confronted Williams, a number of Yankees surrounded him before police moved in and escorted the Red Sox employee out the back. Garcia, who apparently leaped over the fence and got involved in the fight, appeared to injure his left hand. He was removed from the game before the bottom of the ninth started, and was taken to the training room with the hand wrapped.
