Matt Hardy speaks on he and Lita splitting
Fökai replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
Which is why, I think, it may be more work than shoot. Matt, the company man that he is, understands the caution that the wrestlers and promotion exercise in seperating the business end from the personal end. The whole situation of Matt being open about his split with Lita, from the "go ask her what happened" comment, to responding to the OMEGA promoter's post, to promising to clear up the situation in question just reeks of a real-life situation that isn't air-tight in its believability. Going back to the "affair" thread, the facts don't match up. If you insert Edge into the role of the cheating male, why would John Laurinaitis, who stepped in on the situation, be placed in the role of "tattletale" when it comes to a married wrestler and a worker who's involved with another wrestler? He's doing a favor to the company by stepping in on the relationship, but he's the "bad guy" when it comes back to the locker room? -

Matt Hardy speaks on he and Lita splitting
Fökai replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
How DARE Matt not stand up for Edge after he fucks Matt's girlfriend and ruins his relationship. Why the nerve of him! Matt = bad. Did anyone prove that Edge was the worker in question? No. ...and I was talking about letting the worker be dragged through the mud on his own message board, but names weren't named on his board. Instead, they used terms like a "male who also deceived Matt", which is why I corrected myself. Coming on a message board to QUOTE someone is a vital function of discussion, FM. If you're going to accuse me of defending Lita and thrashing Matt, then prove it. Defining the words "every" and "one", in which the terms you described didn't make a lick of sense together, was still a nice touch. -

Quote me. cliff notes on my posts: Shawn/Bret: --never resolved their differences. --was a worked shoot angle that worked for a few months. Matt Hardy: --promised to name names and "clear up the situation" when the time was apporpriate. --hasn't responded to the PWI rumors. TheMattHardy.com --message board has been down since the rumor with Edge came out. Omega promoter --Matt acknowledged his post that Lita was cheating. Edge: --not named by anyone but PWIInsider, then the fans on various message boards. --his name is being dragged through the mud at the moment. Lita: --is a whore. -

...and you said "Why should Matt comment on the rumours?". This is confusing either way. Hurricane acknowledge the cheating. I NEVER said he acknowledged Edge. No one, except for the insiders and fans have named names besides Lita. It was in response to the OMEGA promoter's post. EDIT: Geez, we're making a mountain out of a molehill with this situation. I don't want to be dragged into the petty argument about "who's right, who's wrong", or "why Edge should/shouldn't be depushed". I'm simply here to talk about how the promotion could benefit from this real-life storyline. -

Where'd I say that? I have no problem with Matt calling out Lita. The public figure I mentioned was "Edge", not Lita, which I rescinded once realizing that Matt or TheMattHardy.com's message board hasn't said a lick about the identity of the male. -

His friend's name is being dragged through the mud by an unfounded rumor. Hurricane acknowledged it, writing this entry about loyalty and such. So did a few of his "friends", including the OMEGA promoter, which Matt acknowledged. Matt could've erased or side-stepped the promoter's post from his message board, but he replied to it instead. PWI named names. Matt said he'd name names. -

..and they never resolved it. ..and Shawn accused Bret of cheating on his wife. It's not the same situation, but it involves the same type of resolution, which you admitted that Bret and Shawn never came to. You remember an altercation with Bret and Shawn, don't you? -

Matt Hardy hasn't said anything about Edge. Just Lita. My mistake. I kept thinking that the stories written by his "friends" are written on his specific board, but it's turned out that they came from different boards. His message board hasn't been online since the rumor with Edge came out. EDIT: ...and Matt hasn't exactly denied the reports from PWI and such sheets, which we know he and the company follows judging by his past commentaries. -
EDIT: Sorry, guys. Here's my corrected pick. Mark Buehrle.

Everything just seems so strange about how Edge would be involved with one of three RAW divas that are actually tied down, with two having a relationship within the locker room. It's just mind-boggling that he'd risk a good chunk of his close friends (Matt, Amy, Helms, Christian, Rhyno, Trish) for such a move. Still too many details that haven't been revealed (and really, besides the obvious that'll come out, I'm already disgusted with the story). On another note, although we'll probably find out soon, how did Edge's wife find out before the boys did (or is the timeline screwed up)? -
You're thinking of Orlando. Miguel's the left fielder.

Everything after Dan's heart attack was the "happy ending" to the book she was writing. In reality, Dan died, and her daughters ended up with the other's boyfriends.

No offense to those who just might be attending the school, but Charleston-Southern played like preschoolers today. Uggh, after re-checking with the box scores, it's because they had 0 bench points, and two guys combined for 31 of their 46 points (at one point, they had 29 of the 36 points).

Wrestlemania Plans over the last few months
Fökai replied to Spaceman Spiff's topic in The WWE Folder
Sumotori rank is determined by skill level, not weight class. That way, you get matches between two elite wrestlers, yet they're hundreds of pounds apart -- for example, a storied rivalry in the mid-90s had Akebono (485 lbs.) contending for every tournament title alongside 285-lb Takanohana. At that time, though, the two were the only active 'yokozuna' in sumo (64 and 65, respectively). They were later followed by Takanohana's brother, Wakanohana (66) and the aforementioned Musashimaru (67). Only one more sumotori has been crowned 'yokozuna' since 1999 (Asashoryu). On a cool side note, the brothers Hana were trained by a famed yokozuna in the late 1950's, who trained in the same dojo as Rikidozan. Small world. Here's the pyramid of rank. EDIT: I swear, I knew the knowledge I culled from years of watching Japanese programming would come in handy one day. -

He's as tall as 6'8, shortest reported height is 6'6, and he weighs anywhere from 475 to 515 lbs. (his peak wrestling rate). In other words, he's fucking massive. Yokozuna ('grand champion') is his title - only designated for the elite class of sumotori. By last count, only 68 men hold the distinction, and only two American-born wrestlers, both Hawaiian, have earned the title (Chad Rowan or 'Akebono' in 1993, Fiamalu Penitani or 'Musashimaru' in 1999). When the continental U.S. kids were watching their weekday cartoons, the kids in Hawai'i were watching the New Year's Grand Sumo Tournament. -

You were the one essentially running the rounds in 2003 and 2004 -- you've got full control of everything, but I'll still make my prescence known in the thread with links and such to aid the selections. BTW, since Banky ignored my earlier requests, I call the Falcons.
