I like that trade a lot for the Rangers, but I might miss Tyutin. Trading him probably means the Rangers intend to have Bobby Sanguinetti play in the NHL next year. I guess defensively, the Rangers have Redden, Rosival, Girardi, Staal, Sanguinetti and then probably either Mara or Malik (I'd rather have Mara, but it's effectively a wash). I like that group quite a bit, actually.

Rangers re-sign Rosival, 4 years 20 mil. I like Rosival a bunch, but 4 years 20 mil? What the fuck? He's not worth that much money. Money we need to re-sign Jaromir Jagr, perhaps? Or Sean Avery? or Brendan Shanahan? Having said that, if we didn't sign Rosival we'd be pretty much fucked. Campbell and Liles both have new homes, and there's not much left. If we can get Redden without over paying him I'd like that, but I don't want to break the bank over that guy.

Just got back from a Jacksonville Suns game. It was 0-0 when we left, in the 15th inning. Suns have a pitcher playing in the outfield. They were playing Chatanooga who I believe are affiliated with Cincy. Fairly certain Chatanooga didn't have a hit after the 8th inning. Tim Kurkjian wrote something on ESPN the other day about never knowing what you're going to get when you go to a baseball game. Say, 15 innings of no runs, for example.
