I found by taking the cable wire and hooking it to my TV and then switching the TV from "Antenna" to "Cable" gave me all the channels up to 99. I don't know if this is the norm for Cable ready TVs or if we're still recieving regular cable from the cable company. Either way I was able to watch the UFC replay. Mr. Rant could probably answer the thing about Cable ready TVs though with his Comcast background.

I can't watch the UFC special tonight because our cable was shut off. You see, over the past three months we've had enormous amounts of movies charged to our PPV. We've had them put a block on our PPV 2months ago when it initially happened, yet the movies keep coming and they tell us they're being ordered from our house. That's impossible with the block as all you get when you turn to the channel is "Service not available". The big problem with this though is the movies in question aren't new releases or anything, they're pornography, WWE Fanatic series PPVs, Blind Date Uncensored, and Jerry Springer Extreme stuff. Nobody in this house would order The Breastford Wives, Black Beauties, Asspen Extreme, The Ultimate Warrior Fanatic thing, or any of the other things they had done. In conclusion; Fuck Charter Cable and the idiots who work there. I can't watch UFC because some retard pushed some buttons they shouldn't have and Charter won't admit to it. This blows.

From what I know there's never been a problem between Knoxville and Bam. Both supposedly continued hanging out after the series and as Glove pointed out they had Knoxville on Viva La Bam. I thought it was Steve-O that was getting too big for his britches and proclaiming himself the king of stunts and what-not. On a random note if there was one guy from all of that I could just sit back and chill with then it would be Dunn. We share very similiar personalities.

With the Good Lifting Plan thread doing well and others looking to possibly change their diet I thought we could could share some good low carb snacks. Pepperoni - I get bags of sliced pepperoni and they have absolutely zero carbs. Its a nice spicy food to have. Whole Pickles - a 28ounce dill pickle has 1g of carbs in it. These are guilty pleasures of mine. Unsalted air-popped popcorn - a 1cup serving with butter is only 4.6g of carbs

I'd consult with a physician about that one. Brian seems to be the most knowledgable about all of this but I have no idea if he has a sports medicine degree. Either way, I'd say you'd want a doctor monitoring you to see how your blood pressure is doing and other things.

I don't argue everything he says. We agree quite often, and $8.5mill is the amount Jones' agent said he would be looking for. Comparing him to what Cruz Jr makes (which I thought I read will be $3.75mill) if it is the $8.5mill he wants, makes me believe you'll get better value. I wouldn't be surprised if Cruz Jr only plays a third of the season with his back and hamstring problems and at the same time his days of being a real offensive threat are over.

Jacque Jones can play CF and is a very good defender. He hits pretty well, has speed, and is a good clubhouse guy. Trot Nixon is making $7mill and I think Jacque Jones is a better player than Nixon at this point in time.

If you're going to look at players most likely getting a short term deal then I'd say the biggest bargain might be Jacque Jones. I'd take him over Cruz Jr and if Cruz Jr is going to be making almost $4mill for 06 then Jones at around $8.5mill could be a much better value.

Did you happen to look at the Game Logs and see which teams he was beating up on? The Rockies, Arizona, Pittsburgh, SF, and SD. He sure did face the cream of the crop there~ You can use stats but if that's all you use then you're going to be TSM Depodesta. You have to use common sense as well. You're better than this and you know Jose Cruz Jr is not the best CF on the FA list.
