Not by much if they give too much attention to WWE through it. And even then...... meh, I don't know. They'll do nothing except waste time and it'll go nowhere beyond meaning. Which begs the question of what the fucking point of this stupid piece of shit angle is? There is no payoff they can give that will make this worth a crap. You know what the fucking point is, why are you asking such an obvious question? It's a company ran by bigger idiots then the ones running the promotion they are so desperate to mock despite being bigger jokes then them.

Not by much if they give too much attention to WWE through it. And even then...... meh, I don't know. Eventually, Cornette will get involved even if it is a Russo creation because Cornette can't resist doing his tired anti-wwe act and with "VKM", it just gives him another avenue. They'll do nothing except waste time and it'll go nowhere beyond meaning.
-
This one is Russo's idea. Not to say he didn't get encouraged to go with it, but the idea is his, right down to the VKM initials. I wasn't saying otherwise but just that before people go around doing the "Vince Russo Sucks" song and dance, they should remember that TNA has been trying to be edgy with anti-wwe stuff well before Russo's current tenure here.
-
Usually, you can blame Russo for being shoot heavy but TNA has a bigger hard-on about shoots. They really come off bush league here. At least WWE was creative about it in 1997. TNA just looks desperate here.

When did Kip dye his hair red?

that's why there's a lot of people out there that do not like TNA. Same case can be made for alot of wrestlers who are actually good. That's probably why TNA struggles to get people to watch, yes some of these guys have great talent but alot of times that isn't enough. I'm about as hardcore of a wrestling fan as you can be and I've yet to see a reason why people should care about Chris Sabin, Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt and numerous other guys who work for TNA. For the same reason alot WWE fans don't understand why they should care about their mid-card.
-
Yeah, using another popular and known name from WWE's peak in the main event against another former WWE wrestler would really hurt. What? Something like Christian/Rhino would be better for keeping the casual fans interested.
-
He's a good babyface that can get a crowd behind him with how well he takes a beating but can make you believe he's easily capable of winning. Besides Joe has probably worked with Lethal more then any other wrestler out there, so it makes sense to work them for the show here.

The bigger the market, the more ad's it'll get naturally. I've seen a few of them but mostly on the late hours. The confetti actually just comes off as both interesting/lame.
-
Like they would celebrate something regarding wrestling especially with a black-balled wrestler and a virtual unknown to the current fanbase. As for Cena/Michaels, it'd be interesting for a brand show ppv simply for how overbooked and how over the top Shawn would go in that position but it wouldn't be a good way to go for a WM main event unless Shawn magically re-captured the magic from the Hogan deal.

1.4 is still better then what most cable programing will get. Consider that 1.4 is better then what Spike draws with TNA and for TNA, it's their second biggest regular program on that network. Sci-Fi is an even smaller network, their expectations aren't much for what has been built and promoted as a third brand show.

It's not like a random Boston/NY game in May being treated like the most important event in the history of baseball. The hype and attention for #1 vs #2 at the end of the season between one of the biggest rivalries in all of sports to basically determine who plays for the national title in 6 weeks is actually warranted.

This is hardly the first time this has happened in WWE, let alone in any physically involved industry.

This is probably the 20th time you've mentioned CiCi's in your blog here and probably the 20th time I responded to it. These things are getting to be like Wal-Mart around here, one on every god damn corner. They're all packed too. Seriously, the fuckers that sat down and said "Hey, people like pizza, people like cheap food, people have annoying kids they can't control. Let's put these all together" should be running this country. However, of all the buffets to go to, why not a slightly more legitimate pizza brand's version of the buffet. I believe Little Ceasars and Pizza Hut still regularly have buffets for lunch. CiCi's is about the only fast food/mainstream eatery that I will avoid at all costs. That being said, if I do end up there (usually against my will) for whatever reason, that Buffalo Chicken pizza is the only thing that'll get multiple slices. I do slightly enjoy the cheesesticks though and might even call them "fuckin' good". -
The problem with writing for tv and planning things out far in advance is that you don't know if that certain actor will stick around the whole time, which means you might have to write them out or you have to listen to the viewers and make the changes the networks feel are needed to please them. That's where I think LOST got, well, lost and it went off whatever path it was headed. Sometimes writers for TV shows get too cute or complex for the good of the show and loses whatever purpose they originally had and it kills a show's premise or quality.

I guess if anything, now that Julia and Conner are out of the equation, they can just go full-bore with the crazy stuff for Sean and Christian. Problem is that Matt/Kimber still lurks. What annoys me is that they'll probably forget this episode existed (and I'm trying already) and write something contradictory to it.
-
All the good that this season built was almost erased completely with tonight's episode. It basically seemed as if the writers felt they were writing themselves into a corner with the Conner storyline and wanted to get it over with. I just hate "future" episodes for any tv show.

It looks like they are teasing the Punk/Terkay program for down the line already. Punk, finally gets a good deal of time and they made the most of it. Punk was pretty over here and I think Knox did better then he was given credit for in the spoiler. Kelly was pretty decent at her role and Im growing impressed by how much she has progressed as a valet since her awkward debut. This was probably the first time since Punk's debut that he looked like a top star and it's good if they can keep the momentum going for him. Also, I have to say the opening segment did a fairly decent job of making Lashley look more important.

It was Fabolous. HTQ runs the useless infomation game.

Please elaborate on both. Really? Um, well Cena and Jay Z were scheduled for a free style contest for WMXIX but Jay Z figured out that wrestling wasn't cool anymore, so he canceled and then some other rapper was replaced and then just a day before WM, was arrested. (I think it was Mystikal). So during a solo freestyle, Cena claimed victory over Jay Z in the battle rap. Rap is controlled by image consultants just as much as WWE is designed for a certain image and is often loaded with questionable "beefs" that are generally overblown for the sake of making money. As for Joe/Game, Joe just told a story about meeting The Game just as he breaking out and they talked during the whole flight.
-
Doesn't The Game know that Cena beat Jay-Z in a battle rap? Cena will murder Game. You don't fuck with West Newbury, MA. Also, lolz at Game from his image controlled business calling another image controlled business "fake". This reminds me of a story Samoa Joe told about sitting with Game on a plane.

It's Tuesday. Hasn't T.O done anything yet so they can spend the entire telecast covering instead of this non-story. Edit: Even half of these people are saying "It's not a big deal"...so why are you talking about it?!? It's a fucking tap on the chin! I used to get slapped, pulled and head-butted by my coaches and I never cared. That's part of sports.

WWE always had promotion. TNA doesn't promote outside the internet and considering that CZW and ROH draw just slightly larger crowds, shows that 600 is a fairly average draw for Philly and internet based promotions. However, Angle was never once WWE's top draw from a box office standpoint.
-
Austin Aries has the same injury+shoulder injury. Shawn had a similar injury that worked with for awhile.
-
No, of course not. They have the mindset that attracting the internet fanbase is all they need. That's great if they are looking for an ECW sized market but they have made it clear they wish to contest WWE and that's not going to happen.
