Do you want them to rush the match? I'm happy they aren't just shoving the match out there. Knox is a good seller and Punk needs something different then the squash matches against scrubs like Doring, Credible and Moore. It's wiser to keep building that program, especially when it stands to have Punk in his best environment as the confident smart ass.

I already burnt my Indy pick, which has basically put me in the position of hoping Chicago isn't caught sleeping against Buffalo, which is possible given Jauron ball or assuming that Gradowski for TB isn't going to be one of those cute "backup turned superstar" stories. I don't want to waste that Chicago pick though, they have alot of winnable games stored up.

Sweet Tea, originates from the south but it's hardly limited to the south. There's all types of Sweet Tea brands in my local store and alot of restaurants have home-brewed variations. That being said, I can't stand the stuff.

Punk/Daniels Broadway was basically that. I'm one of the biggest Punk marks out there and even I said "What the hell is the point of this?". It was one of the LAST matches that never needed a broadway finish. The only thing that made sense to explain it was "Punk was afraid of getting killed by Daniels, so he makes a angry Daniels WRESTLE and that threw Daniels off and Punk purposely went to a draw". Fine, despite being a hot match that was literally 18 months in the making, they went ahead and did a pointless draw. Punk knew his title reign was going to be historic and it still stands as an incredible period of booking for that promotion and Punk, was golden but Punk was calling the shots and he needed to do a little Chris Hero and get the broadway match. If he needed the draw finish so badly in the reign, it should have been with Roderick Strong instead. Especially considering how Punk "picked" him in a mocking tone and for the virtual rookie to go 60(and we know Strong can) would have done more then what Daniels offered in a 60 minute draw. It's sort of like Triple H and Benoit's iron-man match. It completely done for HHH's ego to say he went 60 with Benoit. Despite the fact the match was basically a recycled stall fest waiting for the heat segment at the end with Eugene. Danielson/Aries, is still a good match in spite of the length. I think the idea was good but after Danielson got hurt, it really threw the match off from being as good as it was intended to be. I still think Aries was still too young for a 75 minute match and that if they did that match again, it'd be a 100% better considering how much Aries has matured as a worker since 2004.

It's popular, especially because of the violence and usual drama involved. Before WCW stopped the violence and made it a glorified 8 man tag match within a cage, it always involved top stars in the heat of some major programs. The 1992 WarGames is still tremendously effective and one of the best pieces of storytelling within such a barbaric premise. The reason it works better with the one submission to a victory rule was the emphasis on team-work. It forced team-mates to pay attention, which meant that you'd might have give up beating your biggest rival to prevent your partner from submitting on the other side of the ring. So many intricate details went into those earl WarGames and that's why they are so effective.

I think it was The Last Stand, which was the first show after Punk "eliminated" Daniels from ROH for good.

I’m still groggy. Not physically, but more mentally. Lethargic, is probably the most appropriate description. It comes and goes, always has for me. Usually there’s a trigger but in this instance, I’m happy in theory (new job, steady new relationship that is still fresh, doing great in school). I even redesigned/arranged my room out of complete boredom. It made me wonder, while a good move financially to leave the campus and stay home. I think it had more psychological damage then I had anticipated. I got out and I just ended right back here. It’s not like I’m 27 and still living at home, but I always felt you should be gone by 21 at the latest. That milestone is very close. I have a solid relationship with my parents, although it can slip into standard family theatrics from time to time but that’s probably a given for all paternal situations until a 3rd generation comes along and you figure out exactly what they were doing. Speaking of parents, Allison is pushing to do the “meet my parents” routine sometime soon, just to get it out of the way. I understand where she’s coming from, but she has a very tumultuous relationship with them, which always means as the new boyfriend, I’m basically fucked right out the gate or that I’ll really have to shine. Oddly enough, I’m not rushing to have her meet my parents despite my good relationship with them and that I already know my parents adore her just by my descriptions and pictures. To be fair, my mother “loved” all my girlfriends in the past. Except one, which was a doozy of a situation that I couldn’t even begin to cover in a simple blog. My father’s take? “Get it while you can”. He is, if nothing, a man of simplicity. I balanced my work schedule for Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoon (noon-5). That’s not a lot of hours, but it’s a pretty fucking easy job. Maybe not easy for MECCA, but for any general worker with focus. It’s a office role but without politics. Pujols will extend this to at least 4 games San Diego in 4. Los Angeles Vs New York -Offensively, I love NY. LA has the pitching match up. This could be either a fantastic tight series or a collection of blow-outs. New York in 5. American League Minnesota Vs Oakland -I really like Minnesota but I think the bandwagon might topple over on the way to Oakland. That being said, Santana will go twice and get it done there. Minnesota in 5. Detroit Vs New York -Detroit suffered a similar fate as St. Louis and actually squandered the division title on the last day of the season, which was ridiculous. Like it’s NL counterpart, the Yankees have a questionable pitching staff but it’ll rely on it’s offensive explosiveness to out-muscle the Tigers. New York in 4. TO wanted that title to feed his kids and Donovan F. McNabb kept it from him. Donovan should be ashamed. His performence drove TO into insanity. If that happens (and that's a huge if as I think WWE is just busting our balls over it), how in the hell do you book that feud, especially the very end? HHH, HBK, Hogan, Hall, and Nash in the same feud? Hall fucks up again. Syxx (if they buy out the WSX contract) gets quickly canned or becomes a regular on Smackdown Hogan slips away in time to preserve the WM program with TBS, Cena or Umaga. Nash goes "Okay, Bye" Shawn or HHH turn and they feud for 4 months before HHH's quickie rushed inside shoot loaded program with Edge at Mania.

I wouldn't put it past them to do the Orndorff/Hogan finish.

The irony is, Triple H didn't include how he put on 60lbs when he took 6 months out in 2001.. He couldn't give Pizza Hut a free plug (he loves the stuffed crust pizza) while WWE had sponsership with Dominos.
