I'd like to hear more about this 'fake crowd shot' i heard so much about today...

Quick question, i said i would never watch Raw again, but Edge is getting a rematch... My question is this... Is it worth tuning in? Or will Cena just bury Edge in a nothing match and leave me even more pissed than i was last night?

I WILL NOT watch Raw with Cena as champ... It's like we've all had a wonderful dream where WWE started to get a little better... But WHAMMY, we wake up and Cena's the champ after all... I know I'm not the only one who won't be watching Raw anymore after the Rumble's shitfest. So Vince, or HHH, if you're reading this, you've lost another fan and plenty more are to follow. in the end it'll just be Vince, Cena and HHH in the whole company when they will host Raw from Vince's backyard... Thanks WWE for some good times in the past, but tonight is the last £15 you will EVER get out of me!

I've loved every second of Kurt ever since I first saw him... I don't want him to get hurt because he thinks his fans are disappointed. If he quits now, I'd be happy because at least he won't go and die or get paralysed. It's also good to hear Kurt talk about wrestling as what it is. It's weird to think he's only been around 6 years, I'd take an Angle match over Foley, Hogan, Austin, HHH, Flair... Anybody. Angle = The Man

So WWE can still sell them i suppose. The thing about Cena was, he sold a shit load of merchandise. I can't imagine how many of those stupid spinner belts he sold to little kids. So i suppose, keeping the belt and keeping Cena in the World Title scene is keeping those belts being sold at £250 a pop.

Ditto on the eye candy. I thought that promo was strange as hell but I liked it a lot. It seemed like it may just go somewhere... possibly. This could be the start of something beautiful.

Yeah my rumble is totally ruined now... Even if it's not true. I was going into this rumble with a completely open mind and now i can't because Rey's gonna be in the back of my mind all the time. ... and before you say anything, it was ruined as soon as i saw the title of the thread. I like that line-up... Back in the day they filled it up with total nobodies, and we all kinda knew who was gonna win. Now they've got a lot of decent guys in there. I think the Royal Rumble is the real winner of the brand split.

Which was the match with Eric Angle under the ring? I think he was called Eric.

is it common knowledge that Candice was a dancer in Dodgeball? I was watching it the other night and thought it was her and then checked on the credits... bingo. Looks good. Forgive me if this is incredibly old, but I wasn't watching wrestling in '04 right through to August '05 so i missed the Diva Search and all that it involved.

Yeah I wasn't particularly impressed with the match either. Although I like both wrestlers and wasn't bored by the match, I didn't think it was anything out of the ordinary.

oh i forgot one thing. not really an era but... ... Austin/Angle competing for Vince's affection. "We don't need no stinkin' badges!" - gold.

This guy is taking a bashing, huh. I don't remember being bashed when I first posted. I'm surprised I don't get yelled at for not posting enough. My favourite era was when I saw this guy called the Ringmaster with Ted DiBiase and thought... 'Isn't that the "Stunning" Steve Austin guy? He's the mutt's nuts. I hope they do something with him.' The rest is history.

I for one hate the Boogeyman thing... But as you (and I) say, if you don't like it, don't watch it, so I don't watch Smackdown! ... That's it. I won't watch Smackdown, even though my hero Kurt is on there now, until Boogeyman is gone. ... No I'm lying. I will never watch Smackdown. It's a terrible show. Except Tazz who comes out with some unintentional gold.

Since Raw has started to be quite decent recently, I've been in a much better frame of mind about the show. Previously I would have been shouting at my TV (Yeah, at 2am, when it comes on here in England) at the divas for their dodgy matches. But now i enjoy them for what they are, excuses for us to see girls put other girls in head scissors. Of course, I could go and search some pics of Mickie James showing everything but i wouldn't because I think she's quite rough. Ok Ok I've searched the pics but I haven't seen them. ... I glanced at them... ... That's it... ... Damn I was way off topic towards the end. I hardly ever post and this crap is what people will remember me by. My point being, occasionally they do a decent or fun match just like the men, if you don't like them when they're on, make a cup of tea or something. And dude it could be worse, we could be seeing Vince vs Flair in a bra and panties match. Unless that's your kinda thing, in that case good luck to you.

...and if you didn't like the show you wouldn't tune in next week? Normally, yes. But this week I said (to numerous people) that this week's RAW was a 'make or break' show for me. My love for wrestling is waning and where 5 years ago I wouldn't miss a show for the world, I don't care anymore. So technically, if the show sucked I wouldn't be tuning in next week. The same goes for next week's RAW, I'm on a rolling contract sort of deal.

Also, the fact that Cena admitted that half the fans say he sucks helped a lot. It helped me watch Cena without wanting to punch him. Hopefully they can keep this up, I'll be watching next week Vince but I'm a very tempermental person and will stop watching if I see you dressed as a judge again.

I can't believe it... I enjoyed it. I enjoyed a WWE show. I mean, they've still got a lot to do before i watch SmackDown! but I liked that RAW and I'll tune in next week.

I was JUST about to say the exact same thing. I tuned in, this was the only bit of SD i saw. Needless to say it was enough to make me switch to another channel. I can't believe I actually witnessed it. I was hoping it would be a horrible, HORRIBLE dream.
