Actually Bruiser, that was Olsen's fault. He's the one w/ the problem. 1) Fistfight w/ Randy Messenger earlier this year 2) Had to be chewed out by Joe Girardi in the dugout earlier this year while he was pitching 3) He said something to Cabrera because he thought he was dogging it. Either way - it wasn't a good incident, but I'm guessing that Scott Olsen is not the most popular Marlin in the clubhouse. And the abortion that is Reggie Abercrombie has practically handed this game to the Mets on a silver platter.

I just watched a few of the Silva videos on YouTube to brush up and he looks pretty badass. I don't like how in some of the matches the guy appears to be just cowering on the ground and he's just reigning in kicks to the face. I mean, it's bad ass and all, but also seems like not much of a fight. Who was that running away from him like a little girl?

While maybe not the biggest news, 1999 #1 overall draft pick Josh Hamilton was allowed to play minor league baseball this year. He was picked ahead of Josh Beckett and threw 98 mph while hitting 500 foot HRs back in the day. He was, of course, tragically sidelined by a drug addiction. The talent is there... let's hope he's grown up and can do something in the minor league. He's on the D-rays, fyi.
