I actually just saw this on Saturday. I thought it was a great movie, and I was really surprised by the performance of Ludacris. I'm just really sorry it took me so long to see it.
-
Either way, it's the season premiere tonight, so we should be happy about that.

I just downloaded MPlayer OSX and now apparently all is well again. I don't know what the fuck happened. Thanks for attempting to help, Tyler. The fact that I figured this out for myself is truly a miracle.

Anything that ends in .mpg, .wmv, .asi, or .avi doesn't work. Now that I check everything, I was wrong. Quicktime player still produces problems when an .avi or .mpg file is used. Basically, sometime between today and yesterday I've lost capability to play all of these file types.

I'm hoping someone can help me. Sometime between last night and tonight I've lost all ability to get audio from WMP and Real player files. I use Quicktime 99% of the time, so it's mostly not a problem but now I can't watch MLB.TV, so I'm feeling a bit of a crippling hole here. When I try to access a file, it says that it may not play correctly because it was compressed using an unsupported codec. However, they all worked yesterday. Does anyone know what the hell has happened, and more importantly how can I fix it?

Yeah, I saw the pregame show. Kanye performed Heard Em Say in LA with Adam Levine directly followed by Maroon 5 performing Harder to Breathe. I heard, I'd say, a grand total of zero boos throughout the entire performance. The man wasn't even in Boston. But why let the facts get in the way.

This Phillies/Marlins game is going to end up 9-8 or so.

Just watched Walkabout again since the first time it aired on TV... I just can't believe I didn't figure out Locke was paralyzed before the end of the show. They gave so many hints throughout the show. It's great watching the episodes again on DVD...just for the little things. I've only gotten through the first four episodes so far, but my favorite little thing... From the pilot... Kate goes to steal boots off one of the dead and looks up to see Locke catching her. At first it looks like he has a disapproving look, but then he smiles with an orange stuck in his mouth. I definitely didn't remember that and it was cool to see.

Interesting. Take away Dontrelle's three starts after the All-Star Game... Minus "those" 3 games: 20-5, 1.58 ERA Shows how much one really bad week can hurt you.

And yet people like you. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's a running joke against UsetheSledgeHammerUh. I would have figured you would appreciate things of that nature.
-
Well, unless the Nats pull off 9 runs in the next two innings, Dontrelle will pick up win #20 tonight - again in dominating fashion. He also had a double and a single. Someday he just may get it together. And assuming the Phils hold on... 1. Marlins 1. Astros 3. Phils 0.5 GB 4. Nats 3.5 GB 5. Mets either 4.0 or 5.0 GB

The price of a 20 gb iPod photo is always $269 with a valid student ID at participating apple stores or campus retail outlets. Apple offers educational discounts on all iPods, computers, and most software. Not sure about the amazon prices. In fact, I got my latest iPod (20 gb color photo) for $70 due to their student union plan (still ongoing). Buy a new computer, get a $179 credit toward the price of any iPod. Can't say I really came out ahead due to the price of the computer, but I never thought someone could get so many compliments on a computer as I have since I purchased it. (iMac G5, biggest screen size) Yes, I am a total apple shill. Baaaa.

This may be the only time I ever say this, but go Phillies.

Apple had a big release day today. First, they released iTunes 5.0, which streamlined the design and added some cool new features. That's to go along with the new...iTunes phone, that holds up to 100 songs...right on your cell phone. And last but not least, they introduced iPod Nano. 1000 songs, $199. It's the size of a pencil! Wow. I know most are windows users and thus don't give a shit, but that's quite a triple shot of new technology in one day.

Well, so much for that.

Number six is on the way next year I believe. Only 26 more HRs to go.

Lowell's under contract through next year I believe, at $8 million a year. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And people bash the Yankees for trading him. We knew this would happen. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What about the 3 All-Star seasons, the game winning homerun in game one of the 2003 NLCS, and the career numbers practically keeping the Marlins in the wild card race single handedly until he broke his hand on August 31st... did you know that all would happen too? I believe Lowell is under contract through 2007. His contract was originally tied to the stadium, but last offseason that was wavied and the contract went into effect without clauses. Whoops.
-
Ah, the ol' Willy Mays Hays treatment. Nice. In other news that may be of interest to others, Jack McKeon has told Mike Lowell in no uncertain terms that he is benched for the rest of the year. Good news for the Marlins - bad news for the other wild card contenders. The Marlins just lost their biggest liability. Jeremy Hermida got his first start tonight and is hitting in the #2 hole...where he should be hitting. He's responded with an RBI double and three at bats where he didn't look clueless - more than Lowell has done in the past three weeks.
-
Love that quote. I'm going to go out on a limb (maybe?) and say he wins 20 games and a Cy Young either next year or 2007.

F Hernandez (W, 3-2) 7.0 IP, 0 ER, 4 H, 1 BB, 5K 107-69 1.59 Nice line for King Felix today in a 2-0 shutout of the A's.

If I asked you what closer has the lowest ERA in the entire major leagues, what would your guess be? After last night, apparently it's Todd Jones at 1.17. What a godsend he has been for Florida. Marlins going for the sweep of the Mets today with AJ Burnett on the hill against Jae Seo.

I joined as well - picked Carolina for week 1.

Catsup Crapper I find this mildly amusing. Either someone is a good remote control operator or it's very well built.

Get it before it's gone... There's more to Kanye's speech than what is in the article. It looks like he is ready to cry or be overcome with emotion and all of the positive things he said were cut out of the AP report. Figures. The best part of the video, by the way, is Mike Myers expressions.
