I just happened to notice that Eagle vs. Shark is out on DVD in the US. If you have a netflix queue or what have you, add it to your list. You will not be disappointed. I loved this film, but hardly anyone got the chance to see it.

Aaaaargh I missed the Rivera/Grove fight. Fuck! I always love seeing Grove get pummeled into oblivion. I got both of the upsets correct, so far, for the league. I had Kelly over Taylor as well as Jorge winning. The only one I missed so far is Lee/Sakara. Ok, I've got everyone. If you want to be in this, I'd suggest getting it in tomorrow before the PPV (3 pm EST) to get the whole season in.

I loved this movie. About 20 minutes in, right before the attack I had to piss so bad that I thought I was going to explode and once shit started happening I forgot all about having to go to the bathroom, which just about never happens. The post on the last page that said it sort of felt like a ride is right. I felt like we weren't going to get a clear shot of the monster but luckily the whole "they're never going to show it" crowd was dead wrong. I also felt like the trailer, while very vague, gave away some key moments like You gotta at least see this one.

I think that very first spoiler, which is the only one I read, shouldn't be a spoiler. It reads that NONE of the monsters in this thread are correct so back to the drawing board, speculation wise.

I'm not going to say that BJ is never going to gas out again, but you have to believe he is far less likely to do so than he was in the past. He flat out admitted on countdown that up until a year ago he was still eating McDonalds after training sessions. I have to think that finally having his shit together will increase the volume of his gas tank. As for this fight, I have a hard time seeing how Stevenson has enough to take B.J.. Some of the subs he's hit on lesser opponents (the beautiful guillotine to the coke fiend stands out) B.J. would probably only get caught with if he was rocked or winded and I've already covered what I think about B.J. gassing out. I'm going with B.J. Penn via submission in either 2 or 3.

I disagree with that statement. For a large portion of the 2nd half... first ten minutes or so, UNC was getting ass-raped every time they drove to the basket and no foul was called. This was when G-Tech built up a 7 point lead. They had huge momentum and Hansborough was getting pummeled and nothing got called. As for the end, borderline call and you can't put a team on the line to shoot two free throws to win against the number one team in the country (which is also undefeated) on a borderline call.

I might be wrong, but I think that the season "winner" for betting gets $500 or whatever, as well. But in terms of standings within the camp, yeah, it's just points.

Like how the sex change part is just added in there as a casual throw in. 2007 was perhaps the most unremarkable year of my entire life. No relationships, had a fair bit of sex but none of it will ever amount to being memorable. In the long run I will probably only end up remembering the year for getting my puppy. 2008 will finally end my (broken-up) 7 year + run of hell in Ithaca, NY... probably my least favorite place on Earth.
