I think I've heard it explained the referee in the ring, whoever is in charge at the time, has to make such calls.

I wouldn't say rubbish. They do give some perspective on how a wrestler was pushed during a year, and give some updates on ones who may have left a particular area.
-
I think in some issues they tried to even out the top 10 to 25 or so with around the same number from WWF and WCW. I think they said things were equal with around 5 the year Malenko got it so they gave to the most skilled wrestler.

TNA only have 2 in the top 10. Instead of getting mad, people should go out and buy the magazine. The PWI 500 is always a great issue and a must for every wrestling fan. Top 10 primarily or completely wrestling in the U.S. 1 John Cena 2 Kurt Angle 3 Edge 4 Samoa Joe 6 Rey Mysterio Jr. 9 Shawn Michaels 10 Jeff Jarrett 12 Christian Cage 13 AJ Styles 15 Christopher Daniels

I looked at the American companies only, thought it was interesting the top 10 had 5 TNA and 5 WWE (all 3 brands). Top 50 was 27-17 WWE to TNA. It does point out there is some talent in TNA, now if the company as a whole could just get its act together.

It's too top-heavy with foreign wrestlers, or those who wrestle primarily in other countries. Around 50 in the top 100, only around 10 in the bottom 100. They should do separate lists, in kayfabe rankings there's no way to compare especially the Japanese.

If Angle was clean and semihealthy, TNA would be good due to the lack of appearances in the ring.
-
And they didn't know this would be his attitude/style? Terrible planning.

Orndorff was legit tough, but Vader could have put him down permanently if he'd wanted.

Fred Blassie vs John Tolos, 1970. He's hardcore.

Yes, because Joe Blow carrying a shank is going to be allowed to get in the ring. I'm talking about the fan that sees fans getting involved, and because of beer, drugs, stupidity or any or all of those, gets in the ring. A knife doesn't have to be the Crocodile Dundee type to be effective and can fit in a pocket very easily, if a fan is getting roughed up in the back I can see that happening. Keep the fans, real or plants, out of the action. If so and so wins, they'll riot, sounds cute, but I don't think a lot of the people on here have seen how violent some fans can get if things get out of hand.

This angle is a bad idea, what about the fan that gets worked up and pulls out a knife after getting pulled from the ring?

http://apnews.myway.com/article/20060909/D8K1JKJO0.html The Rock gives $2 million to U of Miami. Must be doing well, after retiring from the ring.

Look for the Lawler vs Austin Idol hair match in the cage from the 80s. The cage surrounds the ring area, so Tommy Rich comes out from under the ring, still inside the cage and helps Idol beat Lawler, spike piledriver doubleteam, "post" him on the ring post. A fan tries to go over the cage and they know they're in trouble. Paul Heyman (Paul E Dangerously) was the heel manager...I love the expression on Idol, Rich, Heyman and the barber's faces when they get out of the cage-It's "how in the hell are we getting out of here." There was some trouble in the aisle and they have to sprint to get to the back. Now that was heel heat. I believe Idol had told the fans he'd refund all their money if he'd lost, so I guess they were mad about that too.

Wasn't he with the AWA for about a year or longer between the WWF and becoming the "ZMan" in WCW? That was another chance for the AWA to keep its head above water and I never remember him being pushed hard.

Condi Rice is arguably one of the 10 most powerful individuals in the world. Nobody is holding blacks from achieving, if they want to. Get over what happened centuries ago.

"If Double J Wins, We Riot.....With STRAPS~!" You know, I"m really hoping someone whips Don West when he's on screen. I like West okay, but yeah that made me laugh.
-
I don't think DLB should be mocked, it was a realistic situation and I could have seen something like that happening-not just at that time and with Butch Reed's lack of buildup.
-
They're at the top right now. I don't pay attention to it when they're on Raw but some people must. Get over it.
-
Yeah you wouldn't want the people watching on TV to hear fans enjoying themselves.
-
I thought it was a bit funny and I'm above the age for the average hiphop, Chappelle Show fan.

If there were problems with doing it that way, they could just fine them the value of a month's salary.

The thing about the daughter got to me. Some here probably understand that too. If he wants to see her grow up, graduate, get married and have kids of her own, he needs to think twice about coming back.

I think Butch Reed beat Koko B Ware at the WM that year, no way to prep for an IC run-again considering how important the title was back then. Honky was great in that role, the fans were legit pissed when he would get out of the ring with the belt, somehow, someway, and not just because that's not how they'd have booked it. Reed was an asskicking type but they killed his credibility with the blonde hair.

If he moves, Cena will help. So will Benoit when he returns.
