  1. He needs to play like a god to make up for what he started. GREAT defensive start. Interesting since apparently some of the defensive players are taking TO's side in this argument. The same thing happened in Philly, with defensive guys like Trotter sticking up for TO in his rift about his contract. I think Hugh Douglas was the only defensive guy who didn't like what TO was doing, and called him out for faking an injury in the 2005 season. And to think, I thought it was all a ruse to make fun of the way TO acted in SF and he was gonna get a new contract. I thought there was no way Andy Reid would let that happen in Philly, and I think a lot of Dallas fans thought the same thing of Jerry Jones.
  2. Witten is a retard. Ball clearly hit the ground there.
  3. I see. As I said though, Hartnell isn't bad when he is good. Indeed.
  4. To be fair, that was a hard ball to catch.
  5. Hartnell isn't bad. Briere is proving to not be that big of a deal because other players are stepping up and they keep winning. Mike Richards is one of the best players in the league. And this isn't one of those "Jason Giambi" Yankees curses that we can't win a Cup because we have Danielle Briere. Now, the point I was making was we could be like the Red Wings and sign every good player, but players probably don't like the team or the city. Not sure where that anti-Flyers retort came from.
  6. In the same vein, Ed Snider usually tries to spend money to get players like that, but they don't always come here, so we're in the clear!
  7. Time for the Cowboys chokejob! I want to see Witten and Owens get into a fight on the field. That would be the ultimate Christmas gift.
  8. Why doesn't it surprise me Enigma is the one to correct my timeline?
  9. WHARS MY PRIZE
  10. Yeah, it's annoying when a fan bitches about one call. But we're all guilty of it, and it happens. There are holds on every play pretty much, some are more noticeable than others. If it were the other way around, Raven fans probably would have bitched about it, too. I probably would have, too. Not out loud, but to myself.
  11. I don't get your point in quoting a post that I agreed with after finding out the rule. You said the ball broke the plane when he had possession of it. It didn't. Don't quote a post and think that you're getting one over.
  12. Prediction: the ropes will be red!
  13. Touche.
  14. Well, it didn't matter if the ball broke the plane (plane.), because the rule was posted here. However, the ball did break the plane, but before he had total possession of it.
  15. I think that's about a year away from where we are, so probably about two years away from being on 24/7.
  16. The Wings used to always sign big names. They haven't in recent memory, but they signed Robert Lang, Derian Hatcher, Shanahan, Brett Hull, etc etc etc. I don't think those players took pay cuts. I could be wrong, but I don't feel like doing the research. But just because now a lot of their players are through the farm, doesn't mean they didn't used to sign players like the Yank$.
  17. The call giving the Steelers a first down during the game when it wasn't even close was kinda bullshit. Other than that, both teams weren't great today on offense.
  18. Shut up Mr. Not-A-Steelers-Fan.
  19. That dude's Gay.
  20. That wasn't a TD. The ball didn't break the plane when he had total possession with two feet down.
  21. Finally someone says me. Ditto KOAB.
  22. In wrestling, when a beatdown occurs like it did on Bubba Ray this past week, silence is the best form of getting it over to the audience. Silence is key in professional wrestling sometimes.
