They are doing the right thing with the NWO by treating them like a novelty act.

 

The crowd reaction is great.

 

Everything else they do is still bad though.

That segment sucked, but that ending made up for the whole thing!  Just seing Rock celebrating over a fallen Hogan is worth sitting through the rest of this lackluster show.

 

And here's Hall and Nash.  And they're aggresive as hell here.

I'm glowing right now. What I want to know, is why are they acting like the NWO are the bad guys? You heard the fans chanting for Hogan! The Rock had the gall to  Pearl Harbor the Hulkster, and he got what he deserved! I was having flashbacks to when Earthquake jumped Hogan on the Brother Love show. The first thing I was thinking when Hogna took the Rock Bottom, is where do I send the get well cards? MAybe if the ROck wasn't such a ratprick, maybe he would have friends to watch his back like HOgan does just in case somebody sneak attacks him.

It was a good mark out moment, but it still reminds me of 1997, accept for the fact that there is no cruiserweights, and its Ross/Lawler instead of Schiavone/Heenan.

Why is Lawler acting happy that the nWo have arrived.  One cool thing about the nWo angle, was everyone from the announcers to the wrestlers were scared about the nWo taking over the company.  Lawler sucks.

Well, that was good to the usual mark, but we all know Rock wasn't in it, and it was just kind of lame using that angle again.  Ever heard of a Hummer?  And not the kind of hummer Stephanie gives her father.

Fans don't care about RVD?  If RVD came out and beat the shit out of The Rock, he'd get that kind of reaction.  The reason why the fans were going apeshit was because Hogan is a superstar.  RVD, Storm, Benoit, they're not superstars.  The WWF hasn't built them up, so if they beat up Rock, it would be just another mid-card angle.

 

I'm terrible.  You're terrible you close minded asshole.  Listen to the reaction the next time RVD simply walks to the ring, and listen to how excited the crowd will be when RVD kicks a guy in the head.  I guarantee you that unless Hogan's fighting a guy like The Rock, who is just as over as RVD, the fans will sit on their hands when Hogan's wrestling.

Well, the Hogan segment sucked ass until the Rock came out.  Rock shouldn't went a little harder on Hogan, but whatever.  I don't wanna see Hogan in the ring ever again, but Joe Mark probably does, so I don't mind.  The beatdown was good, and I marked for the legdrop in a campy sort of way.  At least they're going all out with the ambulance angle and such, but some of the stuff that the nWo did was hilariously bad.
