Nobody, has EVER popped like the Hogan / Rock segment ever.  And if any of you smark jackasses out there want to say that Rock carried that segment you can go fuck yourselves.

Best Angle Ever?  I think not.  At most the nWo is a band-aid that *MAY* pop ratings and buyrates for a month or two before the fans get bored of Hogan Hall and Nash and begin to tune out like they did to WCW.  The only way to really fix the WWF is a long term change in their booking philosophy.  If they use the nWo to help elevate somebody, anybody, and use that elevation to draw in the long term it will be a success, but only if they do that.  And this is not the Best Angle Ever by a long shot.  It may be eventually, but two nights in, all they've had is some decent promos.  Although, the destruction of the Rock was a good move, and will get the nWo some heel heat.

 

BTW, what the fuck was that submission that Edge used?  It looked waaaaay painful.

I see, the heels (Regal and Goldust) are evil, so their generic facial expressions mean nothing, but the faces (Edge and RVD) are noble, so their generic facial expressions are concern.

IF RVD came down and frog splahsed the rock it would draw some heat....but other than ecw muntants not enough people care enough about RVD to mark out for it. And whats so great about him anyway? whats the real difference between RVD and Hogan? At least hogan hits his spots...however simple they are. Steve Austin is a bigger star than Hogan.  McMahon could have gotten anyone to play Hogan's role, but I cannot see anyone other than Austin single-handedly saving the WWF like he did.  And Austin did it with Vinny Roo stinking up the rest of the card.  That is some accomplishment.

ok first time RVD debuts in the wwf.....during the whole ecw invason....rvd about to set billy gunn for the van terminator....and he misses it by a half mile, notice how that spot has been all but dropped from his movset since. I dont think RVd is a bad wrestler....i think hes fine at the IC level,but u make him about to be the second coming of god.
