EL DANDY~! 0 Report post Posted October 17, 2002 In the G-1 Jr Tag Tourney in 2001, there was this match between Lyger/Samurai and these two young guys, and the vets got upset when one of the young guys put Lyger in a Rolling Strangle Hold Gamma, and Sasaki used it as a finish for a little while, if I remember... Guest Dace59 Report post Posted October 18, 2002 Saturns second Rings of Saturn was a Strangle Hold Gamma
Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted October 19, 2002 I saw a move Billy gunn pulled out of his proverbal ass looking like a Hiptoss neckbreaker, does anyone else do that?
Guest Special K Report post Posted October 19, 2002 Just out of curiosity, what is the rolliung death cradle. (i/e/ tekken) Seen it performed in Joshi and NJPW cruiser. The Joshi match I saw had them rolling around for a literal, solid 2 minutes.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Report post Posted October 19, 2002 Hip-toss to neckbreaker? Jorge Estrada (NWA:TNA) uses it often.
Guest Special K Report post Posted October 19, 2002 Sorry, I meant to say, what is the rolling cradle called, and also, are there variations?
Guest Dace59 Report post Posted October 19, 2002 A Rolling Cradle surprisingly enough. Thing like rolling cradles, rolling prawn holds, rolling back mounted cradles, rolling la magistral cradles etc are all done. It's to wear the opp down (ala big swing) and keep them off balance and disy to make it harder to kick out (in kayfabe of course)
Guest razazteca Report post Posted October 19, 2002 who has done rolling la magistral? does it start with a dropkick to the knee?
Guest Dace59 Report post Posted October 19, 2002 I just remember seeing it a few years ago in some beat em up game, I'm guessing it was taken from somewhere.
Guest deadbeater Report post Posted October 22, 2002 Dace and others, thank you. I want to suggest to Molly to work on doing that pretzel move as a finisher when I see her next time. Foolish me I know.
Guest Dace59 Report post Posted October 22, 2002 Hey, no problem man, glad I could help, same with the others I'm sure. And Molly with the pretzel move... nice image.
Guest The Metal Maniac Report post Posted October 25, 2002 So, I just watched a 6-Man Tag involving some guys I've never heard of, as well as Darkness Dragon and Dragon Kid. At one point, DD whipped DK to the ropes, and went for a Sidewalk Slam. DK got the legs up for the headscissors, but instead whipped around, grabbed DD's left(?) arm, and bent it back to try and hyperextend it. What the FUCK would you call that? There was another hold I can't even begin to describe, as well as this move: Lift for a powerbomb, then throw them to the side so they land chest-down. I really can't think of what to call this. Powerbomb to front slam doesn't really cover it.

Guest areacode212 Report post Posted November 20, 2002 Anyone know if there's another name for the Gory Special, or better yet, Ace Steele's "Twist of Cain" (aka Victoria's new finisher)? I'm trying to give the GS to a wrestler in Fire Pro D, and I can't find it on the movelist.
Guest Dace59 Report post Posted November 21, 2002 Gory Sepcail = Real Name. http://db.gamefaqs.com/console/dreamcast/f...ng_d_edit_a.txt Move list, it doesnt seem to be in there.
Guest CED Ordonez Report post Posted November 21, 2002 Three questions before I nod off to sleep. Rydien Bomb: Which move am I looking for again? Manami Toyota(?)'s signature where she gets you in a hold and begins rolling you in a circle, eventually winding up in a pinning predicament. Which hold/cradle is that? And what would the technical term be for a Stranglehold Gamma?
Guest areacode212 Report post Posted November 21, 2002 Thanks Dace #2) Manami Toyota's move is the Rolling Cradle (aka the Rolling Death Cradle in Tekken 3)
Guest Dace59 Report post Posted November 21, 2002 Rydien Bomb: Which move am I looking for again? Low Down/Sitout Spinebuster/Spine Bomb/ 3/4Body Press/ 3/4 Body Slam And what would the technical term be for a Stranglehold Gamma? Seated armbr choke with arm scissors. And yes, that move is a rolling cradle.
Guest The Metal Maniac Report post Posted November 28, 2002 I don't *think* this has been asked in this thread before (Too late to read the whole thing) Poison Rana?
Guest Dace59 Report post Posted November 28, 2002 Poison Rana = (Poison) Mist opp in the face either before you jump up, or while on your shoulders and then hit a rana. It's a Brought Special turnbuckle move in No Mercy
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted November 28, 2002 No one actually uses it do they?
Guest Dace59 Report post Posted November 28, 2002 Someone does. There are not fictional moves in games, they all have to be taken from somewhere.
Guest deadbeater Report post Posted November 28, 2002 You mean Chun Li's forward while upside down helicopter kick is a real move? I sure would like to do that.
Guest Dace59 Report post Posted November 28, 2002 I could have sworn this was a wrestling folder. Yer, you have the right to be picky. But use some logic. Of course I mean WRESTLING games. And yes, only captured ones. I really should have written a few more words into that statment.
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted November 28, 2002 At lease he didn't ask who throws real fireballs for something like that.
Guest Dace59 Report post Posted November 28, 2002 Anyone with flamible liquid and something to light it with.
Guest The Metal Maniac Report post Posted November 28, 2002 OK, maybe I'm cunfused, but I'm stealing this from a Justin Baisden review... Red looks for a Rana but Ki pulls him back up only to have Red twist his weight and hit a POISONED FRANKENSTEINER! Is he mistaken, are they two different moves, or does Red actually use mist?
