Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Season 7

I don't believe that and it saddens me that people actually believe that.

Just look at an older couple happily celebrating their 50th anniversary. They exist and I wish some people could get back to that.

Why must "the greatest love story" be so tragic? Most of what people are listing are tragic stories. Where's one where things actually end happy?

If you think about it, Anya died

A: knowing that Xander still loved her

B: Had sex with him 2 nights before

C: Finally understanding his devotion to his friends and to the world

D: Protecting the world.

I mean, things probably ain't all happy happy joy joy land in Xanderville(jesus i watch this show to much) but for the most part, it ended well.

I loved the Xander/Anya ship. I already said it a few times before in this thread back in May, but I hated how she went out. That irked me that Joss admitted he wanted to kill her in that manner. I know, life's not fair and crap, but damn man, I just wanted one final Xander/Anya scene (and for Anya not to have been sliced in half; a stab or two would have been fine).

At least Xander wasn't hooked up with someone like Kennedy...

I'm sorry but I loved how it ended. I even love more that Xander wasn't there to see it and didn't get to see the body. That would have been harder. The final Xander/Anya scene will be him stroking her hair as she was sleep the night before...or him telling her to use Andrew as a human shield. That is fine with me.

I know alot of people felt it was wrong for her to die like that, but it was her speech the week before in the hospital with Andrew that made it alright for me. SHe finally got it. She understood and she was willing to die for it all.

She was one of my favorite characters on the show and I would have perfered for her to go out that way than the cheesy almost dead yet talking death that other shows get.

They couldn't do it.

Any scene like that would have taken away from the importance of Spike's death...which was the culmination of the entire season (and much longer actually)

The WB being big mouth bitches basically took away the impact of Spikes death for me. It was still sad but only if I didn't know he would be on Angel.

Here is a off topic question.

I need a new name for my animation company since some asshole went and paid money to have my old one copyrighted(damn law abiding citizens starting thier own companies the right way)

I want to use a obscure Buffy reference.

So far I am thinking Troll Logic or Evil Bunnies(don't really like this one, but hey...its funny) I need suggestions.

It should be noted that "I Only Have Eyes for You" is a fabulous episode, if only for the Buffy/Angel part.

I think it's a great episode because it sets up the end of the season perfectly. Everything about the story of that episode mirrors what Buffy is going through and it puts her in the frame of mind she needed to kill Angel.

Oh and Buffyworld's vid caps are really really dark sometimes.

I agree. If I hadn't known he was returning, it would have been a lot more meaningful for me. I'm still not sold on him returning anyway; I've made sure to avoid the spoilers so hopefullly it's good stuff.

I like Troll Logic and Shirty Inc. (though as LaParka said, would be better suited for a company that does shirts and the like).

"Don't walk away from me, bitch" is a classic line.

Shirty Inc would be better for a clothing company, but when I loved that whole shirty moment with Buffy and Spike.

One of the best eps ever.

I didn't notice how relevant the whole scene was until Buffy and Angel got in their roles.

Plus it had Spike getting out the wheel chair at the end, and that just owns all.

Hmm, I don't remember that episode. I'll have to watch it this weekend.

Hang your head in SHAME!!!

Yes I already did :(

I do remember when Spike stood up from the wheelchair; but not the actual episode. I'll watch it tonight, seeing how I have to babysit my niece and nephew at my sisters house.

no buddy, most vampire i've seen look attractive in an esatern european kind of way. Not with giant ass foreheads, that make them look "special."

Don't forget From Dusk Til Dawn. They changed in all kinds of ways.

On a somewhat related note, I read in TVGuide that this year on Angel is going to be more humor than the past.

Boo Hoo.

Actually it says it won't be as dark as last season, with more humor. Angel's always had the humor to it, just not quite as much last season as it was a much darker season.

Yeah, it did say that. I guess WB doesn't like it when one of their shows is actually good, it has to be 7th Heavenish.

Plus the budget got caught, so that means there will be less special effects.
