Just try to look at it as its own show and not a Buffy spin-off and you will love it.

Angel is being rerun on SPACE up here; I can't wait as it has been a while since I've seen the early eps and it will be nifty to see all the changes the show has made.

I didn't think that I would like Angel so I never watched it. Then I decided to try it out when it came out on DVD, and I loved it. I've been hooked on Angel ever since.

Yep, missed out on all the fun!

 

As for what season FX is on, it's a bit wonky as usual. Their main schedule cycle is on Season Four, though they have been showing Season Six eps here and there.
