Guest mike mayhem Posted August 19, 2003 Report Posted August 19, 2003 Battle Royale I bought it on DVD on the 9th of August....Its probily the best film I've ever seen & I've watched it 7 times since I purchased it
notJames Posted August 19, 2003 Report Posted August 19, 2003 DVD Jeff Buckley: Live In Chicago Nice choice. I still remember when he opened for Juliana Hatfield back in '93 or '94 at a place called the Trade Winds in New Jersey. I hadn't heard of him before, but his performance (specifically his soulful voice and strong lyrics) had me and the rest of the audience in complete awe. He is definitely missed in a misguided music lanscape that embraces image and corporate thinking over pure talent. I might have to look into this DVD...
Guest Ray Posted August 20, 2003 Report Posted August 20, 2003 Soon to arrive in my mailbox: Taxi Driver and Paths Of Glory (one of the best war [or more accurately, anti-war] films I've ever seen).
