Guest JMFabiano524 Report post Posted April 24, 2003 A more recent one, as in last week: Jimmy Snuka having the lobotomized face from the moment Piper starts insulting him on. Even when he's selling O'Haire's attack! Also surreally funny was Chyna's Playboy acceptance speech, what with her going on about how she "did it all herself" and all. Guest JMFabiano524 Report post Posted April 24, 2003 "AND THE ROCK JUST SHOVED BILLY GUNN'S FACE RIGHT INT' THAT LARGE WOMAN'S ASS, BAH GAWD!" I don't know if JR wanted to be funny during that match, but it had me rolling. There's also a moment during the Rocky Maivia/Mankind match at "Cold Day in Hell" 1997 that's subtly humorous JR: They say wrestlers know how to fall (after Rock "Rock-Bottomed" Mankind into the ramp). How do you fall on steel, when it isn't a mat? King:............ watch yer mouth there, uh, JR. JR: Oh, uh, sorry about that It just made me laugh because watching it I realize that JR was exposing the business in a way, during his excitement. JR is funny when he tries to make "wrestling is real" comments. Another infamous one, re: the steel cage: "Those steel bars don't taste like chocolate!" Guest JMFabiano524 Report post Posted April 25, 2003 These come mostly from inside jokes between my friends and I: - For some reason, we are all amused by Booker T's TitanTron, and how his face is always seen in the big T. Like I said, I have no idea how that started, you can have us committed later. - My friend Matt does this imitation of Hogan where he ends every sentence with, "I'll give you the big boot, the legdrop, and the 1-2-3, ding, ding, ding!" So whenever he goes for said combination, you know what our reaction is. - Another Hulk one, invented by my friend Mike. When Hogan does an early Hulk-Up, he treats it like he's a character in a video game and that he wasted his power-up. We then theorize that he needs to score 10,000 points in the match to get another Hulk-Up. - And back to Matt, there's also the Kurt Angle theme song. Instead of "You suck," whenever it's played we start chanting "Max-well!" (his last name, a reference to him resembling Angle) - And finally, there's the stunner and Booker's axe-kick, which for some reason elicits one of us singing the main melody to the according wrestler's theme in a fast, almost banjo-like way (which is really funny with Austin, considering his character)
Guest Cerebus Report post Posted April 25, 2003 Tonight's Smackdown had an unintentionally funny part. Cena is talking heatedly to A-Train about Lesner when a nearby VCR gets knocked over which Cena quickly covers by saying "I knowcked a VCR over I'm so excited!" David Blazenwing 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2003 I know that the promos were meant to go the way they went, but I just have to say the Hurricane/Rock promos from early March of this year. Man, those two have GREAT chemistry together... they should win the tag titles and make fun of each other all the time
Guest Psycho Cirkus Report post Posted April 26, 2003 Yea, the name of the tag team should be "Rock You Like A Hurricane"
Guest JMFabiano524 Report post Posted April 26, 2003 Who is Scott Dunlap? Since I don't want to "spoil" the "surprise" yet, I will say find a copy of SK's Fall Brawl '93 rant to get the answer.
Guest Stunt Granny Report post Posted April 27, 2003 At the very last Clash of the Champions in Aug. '97, Alex Wright was doing a pre match promo with Scheme Gene. "It's a good thing your name is the Ultimo Dragon, because I'm going to drag you from one end to this arena to the other." By far the cheesiest thing I've ever heard anyone say in wrestling. TheOriginalOrangeGoblin 0 Report post Posted April 27, 2003 This is completely random but for soem reason at Wrestlemania 4, after the crowd sat silently for most of the night, Jesse Ventura gets up from the announcep osition and poses to the loudest reaction of the night. Don't even know why but him getting a louder pop than the actual wrestlers always makes me laugh.
Guest CanadianChick Report post Posted April 27, 2003 Bubba's screaming during his matches are always funny. My favorites are: -Against T&A at Backlash 2000 to Trish: "I'll get you, you little bitch!" -Against Edge and Christian at an early 2000 tv show (not sure if it was Raw or Smackdown) to Christian: "I HOPE YOU DIE!" . It was so random, and hilarious.

Ed Wood Caulfield 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2004 Just wanted to bump this thread since I've thought of some more unintentional funny moments. -The promo where Shane McMahon turned on Big Show back in 2000, cementing Show's face turn. Big Show asks Shane how he really feels about him. Shane saids "How do I feel? How do I feel? You know how I really feel about you? I think you're a...." And then there is about 10-15 seconds of silence where Shane and Big Show look like they are frozen in position. It seems Shane forgot his lines, so he just stands there trying to remember them with Big Show looking on, also looking like he is frozen in postion. There is NOTHING but dead air for about 10-15 seconds before Shane remembers his lines, then gives the promo normally. I just cracked out watching it. Just the image of Shane looking frozen made me laugh. -JR trying really hard to sing "Na, Na, Na, Na (Hey, Hey, Hey Goodbye)" and failing. "Na NA! NA! NA! NA! NA!" -A promo Kevin Nash gave back in May or June which was just awful. He said his lines in monotone and looked totally out of it, yet I still found it funny -The HHH/Kevin Nash 15 minute brawl -Randy Orton's botch RKO attempt from RAW last Monday That's all I got for now. Guest JumpinJackFlash Report post Posted January 30, 2004 WCW Uncensored 95 was the worst PPV ever. The funniest thing on there was the Texas Tornado Tag match between Harlem Heat and the Nasty Boys. When they slip on the juice is hilarious! I wonder if they decided to skip to the finish because of how bad it was getting. And the part of the King of the Road match where the truck stops for a long time waiting for a bus to drive by. Something tells me that was some sort of planned stunt. Then there's an old woman interferring in the Randy Savage-Avalanche(Earthquake) match, and the old woman turns out to be.....RIC FLAIR! Then he cuts a promo with eye shadow on! Just John 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2004 Pretty much everything Kane did from June to November last year. This includes: - The initial unmasking - Burning JR - Electrocuting Shane's nutsack - Shane saying "Burn in hell, you son of a bitch." after throwing Kane in the burning dumpster - The hospital attack with d-level acting from the doctors and nurses - Tombstone on Linda - Dinner with Shane Test also deserves mention here for his horrible acting and cheesy lines toward some woman (fill me in here). "I'm gonna make you my whoooooore!" "I don't take no for an answer." Also: Orton's R-K-Blow on Raw this past week. Botched moves are always funny, provided no one gets seriously hurt. Guest Krazy Karter Report post Posted January 30, 2004 HHH driving a forklift in the background during a Booker - Big Show hardcore match. They should have made that a running gag. I must see this. This reminds me of an incident from 1996 or 1997. Ahmed Johnson was cutting a promo on RAW about how he had a few special surprises for NOD later that night (referring to LOD). Right before Ahmed was finished, Hawk walks right in front of him, looks at the camera, gives this "um, oh shit" look and runs off. I must find that on tape. lomasmoney 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2004 One of the funniest, or possibly stupidest things i have ever seen was at Summerslam 92, it wasnt shown on the PPV but it was a six man tag match featuring The Mountie + The Nasty Boys vs Duggan and the Bushwackers. Now, one of the bushwackers was in a deadly reverse chinlock and Duggan was on the apron getting a USA chant going. Now, How the hell is a bunch of british people chanting USA going to help a guy from New Zealand?!?! But hell.. it Worked!.. the hot tag was made. in England

deancoles 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2004 Summerslam 89,Ultimate Warior hits Rick Rude with the Intercontinental Title outside of the ring,Jesse Ventura asks why the ref hasn't disqualified the Warrior and Tony Schiavone says "but it was outside the ring" and Jesse tears into him with a long rant which he finishes by saying "So i could shoot someone with a gun as long as it's outside the ring?" The interview with Zeus,Randy Savage and Sensational Sherri from the same show is also hilarious, seeing them stirring a Cauldron that would end Hulkamania was so Dungeon of Doom. The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted February 1, 2004 Any time Steiner says something like "mesmermized" or when he slips on aprons, that's comedy. Oh by the way, did you know you can create a reasonable dramatization of a sodomy session by using Cole and Tazz? If you loop Tazz's "Here comes the pain!" with Cole's "Stop the pain!" and play that over and over in a locked room during a party, people would wonder
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Report post Posted February 1, 2004 Remember when Undertaker told Bossman to meet him out at the parking lot back in '99: "I've been waiting for you all night, Bossman" (High pitch Bossman voice): "I AIN'T A HARD MAN TA FIIIIIND!" Bossman is then beat down by like 7 guys.
