A few notes first: You will need to re-edit Hurricane's stats (NWA:EC) They are all at 0

Unfortunaly I didn't know this before starting my game.

East Coast released him so of course I'd jump all over signing him. Needless to say I was pissed.

Another bug was when I briefly ran NWA:CS and I was able to steal Jim Ross from NWA:TX, paying him only $1,000! And no under-the-table BBQ sauce deal was involved, either!

I've gotta play this scenario now. Everyone seems to be having a blast with it.

My NWA: Canadian Stampede is not going well. My PI is falling every week and the industry is at 48% and slumping. But in good news I'm making a profit every month and I now have a TV show. Because of my problems I've had to release a bunch of unhappy workers and I'm now in the process of reorganizing.

My feuds pre reorganization...

Beniot vs. Lesnar for World title

RVD vs. Jericho for North American title

Edge vs. Scott Taylor(Scotty 2 Hotty) for Canadian title

America's Most Wanted vs. Christian/Lance Storm for tag titles

Vader vs. Kurt Angle

Booker T vs. Ron Killings

Rhyno vs. Chris Kanyon

I have no ideal how my fed kept dropping in PI with a good line up like that.

Major changes

Beniot is out for 15 months

RVD was released

Chris Kanyon was released

Well one thing you should do is boost your advertisement to about 5% over the limit that your financial advisor tells you. Always a good thing to do.

Edit: Why the fuck did you release RVD and Kanyon?

I'll download this baby now. I'll be happy as long as I can recreate my Seven/Leviathan feud.

Kanyon's morale was dead and he was bitching that he wanted to leave so rather than letting him cause problems I released him.

RVD had low morale and his overness was down to 69. Without his high overness RVD isn't that great and I have guys with better stats I'd rather push.

RVD with 69 overness? Just what the fuck happened to drop him that far? My God, I've never had RVD drop to below his starting overness.

Then again, I push RVD to my Main Event everytime. Just because I can.

As for Kanyon, I've had that happen before so I understand that. The morale thing can be a bitch to overcome sometime.

However, in both cases, that's why God made angles. I seriously rarely book matches nowadays when I get Prime Time. Angles get people more overness in most cases anyways and they usually keep people from bitching often. At least in my case. Besides, it always sets up a worthwile match later on when I wish to push one of the guys.

Then again I usually start from Regional, so I like increasing people's worth. That and I'm always afraid of losing my top talent so I make sure that my surviving core can make a quick run to the top. That and the more people over, means more fan support I find.

BTW I've played the EWR NWA Scenario and thinks it's nice. Except the fact that most of the people are in Main Event. I mean one feds ONLY got Main Eventers. I mean that's really silly. Put them where the hell they should be, not what their overness dictates.

Oh and anyone goes to play with Titles or PPVs with File Editor, you can't. As it'll pop up with a read-time error as neither one is supposed to have no record apparently. To fix this, just edit a new Title and/or PPV record in from the regular to have a single title/PPV for one of the feds in the NWA Scenario. Thusly you can modify the titles/PPV for the companies.

I was quite pissed about that I had to actually think about that to get it to be fixed.

I have no clue what I did to destroy RVD's overness. He was in a main event title feud with Jericho. He wasn't winning that often in the feud, but he wasn't jobbing cleanly and the feud was even.

Kanyon is still a free agent so I may bring him back just for his overness.

Unless you changed his stats, RVD has 70 charisma. Did that do it?

That shouldn't affect it at all. Unless Santanico did plenty of interviews...

Weird.

I didn't touch RVD's stats. His manager was Stacy Kiebler so the problem wasn't his interviews.

Charisma DOES affect angles, though, as well as interviews. OTOH, it won't affect matches.

So it effects angles as well, I know that. But usually it isn't as bad in angles. At least I haven't had a problem yet.

Hey...what exactly does the NWA Scenario comprise of?

Dames

Check the bottom of the last page Dames.

If I didn't have two game going, one for the coming board challenge and my HSW, I'd play this in a heartbeat.

Basically a lot of NWA feds like:

Calgary Stampede - Stu Hart owns it. Technical bound. Jericho, Benoit, Bret Hart (if WWE is toast, where the hell is Owen?), and many more. Very well built. Only Canadian company.

Texas - Dusty Rhodes company. Basically anyone from Texas is in this one. Steve Austin, Mark Callaway, those guys.

East Coast - Vince McMahon owns it. Top draws, but match work sucks like hell. Hogan, Nash, and others.

Strong Style - Al Snow owns it. The stiffest out of the bunch, but has Corino, Daniels and AJ Styles in it.

These are the four that I can think of off the top of my head. Basically WWE isn't alive anymore (unless you count EC) and basically NWA controls the wrestling industry, but different fractions are competing against one another. That's the back story.

Ok, I didn't realize there was a new version out until now.

I've already gotten a good groove going with the 3.0 version I have now, so is there any way to carry over my information? I wouldn't want to have to start over.

The updates don't affect saved games at all. Just copy paste the new files into the correct folder and you have updated games without losing the saved games. Either overwrite the original data or put the original data in a backup folder if you want to keep it.

Ok...could you explain which files I'm taking from where and putting them where?

Dames

Just take the save files from the your save folder (save folders will be like "s1", "s2", etc.) and transfer either to the data folder of EWR 3.0 (from April 15, 2003), or just toss them into the "s1" as there really isn't any change from the April 3, 2003 edition other than some new angles and gimmicks that will still be there even if you did the conversion.

If you are doing a EWR 2.0 transfer to EWR 3.0 than put the s1 files of 2.0 in the 3.0 data folder and do data conversion.

I discussed that with Adam, Flik. He's thinking of making improvements in that scenario, including Owen in NWA:CS. He's also thinking of bringing back some other deceased stars, like Bulldog and Pillman. Why not? He brought back Ricky Steamboat from retirement. And damn, he's got sweet stats! :D

He should also add NWA:NJ (NJ=New Japan) and have some of Japan's wrestlers like Lyger, Ultimo Dragon (who should be able to speak cause he does, just not english), and others as well. Would be Cult status, 35 PI.

Also could probably add NWA:OZ (OZ=Australia). Not sure who would own it and who'd be in it, but seriously would be cool to have an Australian company as they've shown that they are wrestling fans. Regional status, 40 PI.

And finally NWA:GB (GB=Great Britain). Bob Backlund, British Bulldog, and other British superstars should be in this one. I'd say Regional with 30 PI.

That's just to represent factions properly.

After unzipping the update take the .dat files and put them into the data folder. The data folder is inside the folder you have the current game in.

And like i said you'll have to move the original data from the data folder if you'd like to keep it for a backup. If you don't want to keep the original data then just let the new .dat files overwrite them.

Also could probably add NWA:OZ (OZ=Australia).

I agree that he should make a Japanese fed if it wouldn't be too much work.

I don't see any reason to do an update including an Australian fed. Nathan Jones is the only guy that would fit with an Australian fed, so the Australian fans would be better off creating their own fed.

Probably true about the Australian federation. Yet, I could always shuffle about the internet and look up stuffy on Australian wrestling feds and see if I can't find some good wrestlers to build in.

Just like how I'm doing with Japan's NWA affliate, which I'm currently putting together a decent NJ as we speak. Although, don't expect anything great as I'm not akin to puroresu and or the Japanese style of wreslting, so I'll probably be off a bit. And won't be done for quite a while.

I doubt that Adam would add those, simply because he has a knack for keeping things in North America, and those three promotions would be outside North America.

Besides, the Japanese stars could just go in Al Snow's promotion, Backlund could go to NWA:EC, Bulldog to NWA:CS, and there's not enough Australian guys to justify their own promotion.

Nice idea, nevertheless.

BLAH~! TAKE AWAY FROM MY IDEA~! I HATE YOU~!!!

jk. :P

It's just there'd be more fractions than just North America ones. All I'm saying.

Edit: I am still working on creating a NJ NWA, and will post it here for massive criticism (as it's pretty flawed) should people wish to see it.

Best match ever........

Lita vs. Rosey in an Iron Man Match!!!!

Lita vs Rosey : FIRST FALL: Flying dropkick from Lita on Rosey. Lita uses a running dropkick into the corner, although it looked more like a badly done leg lariat if you ask me. Hell, maybe that's what it was supposed to be. Hooks the leg for a two count. Rosey counters a backdrop attempt with a kick to the face. Rosey hits Lita. Lita takes a vertical suplex. There's a two count on the pin. Rosey DDTs Lita. Cover, but there's a last second kick-out. Weak bodyslam on Lita by Rosey. Lita reverses a hip toss. Badly executed second rope splash by Lita. Hooks the leg for a two count. Diving headbutt from Lita, not much elevation. Hooks the leg for a close fall. Rosey gets hip tossed by Lita. Lita hits a weak kick. Rosey pulls a mule kick out of nowhere. Lita takes a right hand to the temple from Rosey. Rosey DDTs Lita. Pin : 1 - 2- 3. Rosey defeats Lita. SECOND FALL: Rosey strikes Lita. Lita takes a right hand to the temple from Rosey. Rosey with a badly-executed spinning neckbreaker on Lita. Rosey with a badly-executed spinning neckbreaker on Lita. Lita fights out of a grapple. Chop by Lita on Rosey. Flying elbow off the top rope by Lita, poor elevation though. There's a two count on the pin. Rosey blocks a punch. Weak bodyslam by Rosey. There's a two count on the pin. Rosey scores with a poor standing spinebuster. Pinfall attempt gets a 2.9999. Lita pulls a mule kick out of nowhere. Back heel kick from Lita on Rosey, missed by miles. Pin : 1 - 2- 3. Lita defeats Rosey. THIRD FALL: Rosey hits a right hand on Lita. Lita avoids a Rosey avalanche. Lita hits a quick kick on Rosey. We have our mandatory ref bump, as he goes down after accidentally getting caught by an elbow to the face. Diving headbutt from Lita, not much elevation. Hooks the leg, but the referee is still out. Rosey reverses a hip toss. Big kick from Rosey. Rosey hits a sloppy double axe handle. Cover for a two count. Rosey turns Lita inside-out with a clothesline. Pin, but Lita is out just before the three count. Rosey drops an elbow...but misses. Fate can be so cruel. Lita, chanelling the power of Takada, hits a high kick on Rosey. Pin : 1 - 2 - 2.9999999. Rosey takes the advantage after a i-block-your-punch-you-don't-block-mine routine. Lita can barely stand. Super Samoan Drop! 1....2....3. END OF BOUT. Lita goes nuts, attacking the referee! DDT! The referee is out! Bland match, but i'll give it a * rating for not being too bad.

Overall-53%

Reaction-63%

Quality-30%

I only did this because i hired Lita to put over some female wrestlers who just came out the training camp...and her morale is waaaaaay down. So i'm going to release her soon...but i'm sure she'll leave before hand.
