Ok. Can someone help me here? I'm trying to set up Adam's NWA scenario, but I've ran into a problem.

I can't get the event.dat to work. I've been trying for a while now and I'm still getting a 383 read only error when I try to use file editor. I tried using a event.dat from outside of the scenario but that doesn't work either.

Anyone have a solution or the fix?

Edit:

Is Kid Lethal and Jay Lethal the one in the same? Just curious as I've heard of a Kid Lethal when I was looking through the "Other Promotions" folder, and thought that sounded just like Jay Lethal of IHPW in the regular EWR game. Curious, what's also the real fed that this guy's in? ...yes, I shouldn't be asking that here, but I'm here anyways. So I'll ask here.

:P  Fuckin' hell. I got the event.dat thingy to work.

Amazingly all I did was just borrow one straight up. I didn't modify it or anything.

Now why didn't I think of that sooner? AGH~! THE AGONY I SPENT TRYING TO FIX THAT AND FOR NOTHING EXCEPT STUPIDITY~!

Glad you guys at least will get a good laugh out of this.

You can join in the fun now....

Well...quick update.

NWA:MC is still 2nd rank at 100% Global...behind the evil fed ran by Vince.

I had a 97 rated match with Booker T vs. Kurt Angle @ Altered Egos. Booker won the title (had to do it!) and is now the number 1 face. Kurt is still the top draw though. Goldberg retires in a month...so i'm dedicating a jobfest in his honor. Time to put over the lower midcarders. Since i'm a goldberg fan, i'll give him a title shot at the end.

Yeah... As soon as I get all the titles done up, Monthly Events set up, my fed with Mick Foley as head of it, get my roster completed, fix up every other feds roster, and then I should be starting.

Till then, I get no fun.

Well, it is now 2:05am and I finally got everything finished up. Whee me. So NWA Scenario here I come~!

My new fed in the scenario is shaping up well. I'm just about to sign Brock Lesnar to my company from DM (HAH~! MIGHTY BLOW SWUNG ALREADY), and just determining whether I want him as heel or face. Also thinking of signing Goldberg(GAK) just to have him get me some more star power to ME, till I can bring up Kojima, Badd, or someone else.

Well, soon I'll be having my own stories of the NWA world we don't live in.

Now I don't feel left out.

Curious, but has anyone seriously had like their best show and then subsequently right after that their worst?

Cause I finally got a TV deal for NWA:NF (my created fed), and my first TV show garnered a 76 overall. My best rating for a show. Next freakin' week, it goes from 76 to a lowly 68 (I've never gone below 70 so far), and I can't figure out why.

Only thing that I can see was that my debut of a new stable (show) right near the beginning of the show, which garnered a 92 over, killed the rest of the show; as my Main Event World Title match that had Glen Gilberti (the International Champion) against Brock Lesnar (the World Champion) and it score 77 match quality and 77 overness but racked up only 68 overall.

I was using my own NWA fed. Mick Foley's the boss of it.

Hell, I always keep the cards. Here's what happened. I seriously believe that stable debut killed my show.

Either that or me doing all the run-ins perhaps. Most of them were after the matches.

Oh, and Feonix is a created wrestler, so don't be asking who he really is.

And there's now a 3.1? Don't see it on the main page... Oh, you probably one of the beta guys... Nevermind. Here's the card.

Looks like a cool show.

And i'm not a beta tester.

Version i'm talking about is 3.01 or something like that.

He re-released EWR 3 like 2 times already. EWR 3.2 or (3.02) is the one with the record of past shows.

Ah 3.02 is what I've got.

Oh fuck you HHH...

I'm ready to end my Booker T/HHH Raw title feud with Booker winning the blowoff. Booker is 90 over and HHH is 91 over.

HHH refused to job cleanly...

I wasn't going to job HHH out since he's still good in the game, but that's it. I wasn't going to be a dick since he gives good match in the game, but he has been a total dick to me now so fuck him.

You know, you should sign like Vader or someone with 100 stiff, and repeatily have HHH in a match against him (also having sick bumps, ie: ladder match). That way, he becomes the useless hack he really is.

Well, Brock Lesnar is my World Champion. Because he's the most over guy in my company. Just better than Nathan Jones.

Has anyone ever had a feud that was heel vs heel? Cause I started up one with D'Lo and Feonix and I just found out that both of them are heels. What do I do? I think I should turn D'Lo face as Feonix is now the leader of my first stable, Sin-Dictate. But turning D'Lo heel, I'll have more faces then heels, and I've already got that problem with Uppercard and Lowercard (need one more heel in both categories to even everything out).

So like, I'm in such a fucking bad predictament with this situation.

Just turn Dlo and then look for someone young to sign or call up to replace him for the heels.

I've decided to feed HHH to Jay Lethal this month and Lash next month. After I use him to put over my two stars in the making I may hire someone stiff and book a special "Lets Cripple HHH" edition of Heat.

See thing is, I've got a fair share of people that I could probably bring out some of my developmentals (I have Austin Lee and some others), it's just not sure what to do with them.

Guess I could always introduce one of them as a new Sin-Dictate member.

Main problem, is I'm not who to use, and frankly, I've only got one TV show right now and having a tough time getting the 24 people I have currently onto my only TV show.

Ah...

Well currently in the NWA scenario, I'm hoping to steal away Kurt Angle when I can. He won't leave DM for some reason.

Thankfully, DM, LA, and HC are all going out of business here soon, so I'll be picking them apart via buyouts.

As I'm currently making around 6 mil a month in cash. That's definitely enough to get those three promotions easily. Have to buy them out since no one will leave to me. Although, if I pick up too many people, I'll have too many MEs.

Dammit... Better make sure I only take the cream of the crop then.

Well, Nathan Jones can always be canned I guess.

He was being a dick and his overness now falls easily. They must've adjusted his stats.
