Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted June 6, 2003 Report Posted June 6, 2003 How can something so right be created by something so wrong?
Guest KingOfOldSchool Posted June 6, 2003 Report Posted June 6, 2003 A) Hebner is a company stooge. B) Of course they're not gonna say anything bad about Triple H on his own dvd. And the Elim. Chamber sucked. Another CRAZY gimmick designed to hide flaws and get over on it's own shock value. It also had about 4 guys who shouldn't even have been in there in the first place and served no purpose when it came right down to it. The man has had the belt for a good while, that means he is good, that does not mean he is an ego maniac. Actually, he holds the belt because there are these guys called writers and bookers. You may have heard of them. Nash held the belt for about a year. Is he good? Fuck no. And NEVER has anyone here questioned HHH's love of the business. He finished a match after tearing his quad, and finished another with a crushed larnyx. He's tough, and he loves his job. This has never been something that anyone has refuted. - The Anvil What he said. No one ever said he didn't love the business or isn't tough...
Guest JMA Posted June 6, 2003 Report Posted June 6, 2003 Are these guys serious? OMG~! BAN PLZ~! But seriously, why come here if you like Triple H? You're three years too late.
Guest Sandman9000 Posted June 6, 2003 Report Posted June 6, 2003 This incompetent fool isn't going to provide anything to this board, aside from someone to laugh at. Just terminate his ass already, and call it a mercy killing before the wolves get their teeth into him. Or if he had any functional brain cells at all, he could see that the door is right over there, and he should go through it. Now.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted June 6, 2003 Report Posted June 6, 2003 Why wouldn't he love the business? He's positioned to own half of it.
Guest Muzz Posted June 6, 2003 Report Posted June 6, 2003 Triple H has had 55 wins in his title run, that is pretty damn good. Or should I say "I am that damn good." Wait, he is Triple H? You should probably say, 'TripleH has had 55 wins in his title run, he must be 'that damn good'. Which is wrong anyway.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted June 6, 2003 Report Posted June 6, 2003 I can't ban him man. Anyone who's reasons for HHH being good are "He holds the belt" and "He's the Game" needs to stay here. Seriously.
Guest Lightning Flik Posted June 6, 2003 Report Posted June 6, 2003 I can't ban him man. Anyone who's reasons for HHH being good are "He holds the belt" and "He's the Game" needs to stay here. Seriously. Dude... You serious? BAN HIM~! Ban him now dammit... Cau- *pauses and thinks about* Nevermind. We can always use him to laugh at.
Guest JMA Posted June 6, 2003 Report Posted June 6, 2003 Nevermind. We can always use him to laugh at. Laughter is overrated. BAN HIM~!
Rendclaw Posted June 6, 2003 Report Posted June 6, 2003 Ye gods, this is entertaining..... Why wouldn't he love the business? He's positioned to own half of it. Game, set, and match, Bryan. No pun intended.
JN News Posted June 6, 2003 Report Posted June 6, 2003 WWE marks=mindless sheep. There is no excuse for being a WWE mark, IMO.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted June 6, 2003 Report Posted June 6, 2003 Yeah, that's Quote-of-the-Week material right there. Why wouldn't he love the business? He's positioned to own half of it. Quote of the Week
Agent_Bond34 Posted June 6, 2003 Report Posted June 6, 2003 those have all been good matches. Lies. His match with Booker T at WrestleMania sucked. Or at least to me it did, I didn't like it at all.
Rendclaw Posted June 6, 2003 Report Posted June 6, 2003 and not because of Booker, either.... Personally I think that most wrestler's intensity level drops a notch when they get in an angle with HHH, because they know in the end, they're not going over.
Guest Ray Posted June 6, 2003 Report Posted June 6, 2003 I did not really notice but has anyone actually took a proper F5 other than Matt Hardy? Actually, Rikishi took a great F-5. It's on Kazaa, if you want to download it. Seems like a lot of people take the move wrong now.
Guest JDMattitudeV1 Posted June 6, 2003 Report Posted June 6, 2003 Why wouldn't he love the business? He's positioned to own half of it. Quote of the week by far. Anyone who argues that HHH deserves his current push should go back and watch this week’s Raw. Listen to the crowd during the Hi-Lite reel segment with Jericho, Booker, Rock and Christian. Then listen to the crowd during the match featuring HHH and Nash, that should make our "smark" point of view seem much more credible.
King Cucaracha Posted June 6, 2003 Report Posted June 6, 2003 It's funny...a guy comes in an you're all like 'Oh, he's a gimmick poster' and you all act like his view is pointless...yet the thread has made it to 3 pages. As it always seems to when newbies write something controversial. Yet we ALL know it's a gimmick poster. Lol...
King Cucaracha Posted June 6, 2003 Report Posted June 6, 2003 WWE marks=mindless sheep. There is no excuse for being a WWE mark, IMO. It's more fun than being a smark. Seriously, if you were a mark right now you'd be more likely to enjoy HHH's matches, so more likely to enjoy more matches means more enjoyment, less to bitch about...so basically, it's better. Watching the Rumble as a mark was more enjoyable than watching Mania as a smark.
Guest JMA Posted June 6, 2003 Report Posted June 6, 2003 Ignorance is bliss--but it is still ignorance. I would rather be without bliss than ignorant.
Guest KJ Brackish Posted June 6, 2003 Report Posted June 6, 2003 I personally feel that if HHH was in a face position, he would put more heart into wrestling and therefore, become a good compeitior. I cannot believe that he won't even really job to HBK anymore. I mean, he did at Survivor Series 2002, but immediately was like, "I want my title back." Well, that and the fact HBK didn't want his back to snap in two! So therefore HBK jobbed the title back to HHH. Booker T really deserves a nice title run. All of this is just IMO! DFA
Guest nestor Posted June 6, 2003 Report Posted June 6, 2003 Triple H's match with Booker T was a hell of a match at WrestleMania, I mean for crying out loud Booker T hit a Harlem Hangover in the match, that in itself makes it a great match, don't forget about the Indian Deathlock, which J.R. hasn't seen in 10 years.
Guest Dangerous A Posted June 6, 2003 Report Posted June 6, 2003 Sorry, Nestor. You are not going to win over anyone with your argument. I think it's a bit extreme that someone would advocate a banning because someone likes HHH. I've seen things a hundred times worse than HHH being celebrated here and no one says shit. Fellow smarks, if you want this thing to die, quit posting about this subject. All the hardheadedness just leads to more bandwidth being wasted over the most talked about and trite subject this board has ever seen. I don't think anyone needs to be banned, but I do think this thread should be moved to NHB with all the other fucking super retarded threads in this God forsaken place! *Rant over*
Guest Anglesault Posted June 6, 2003 Report Posted June 6, 2003 If I've seen it in the last ten years, JR has.
Mecha Mummy Posted June 7, 2003 Report Posted June 7, 2003 Triple H's match with Booker T was a hell of a match at WrestleMania, I mean for crying out loud Booker T hit a Harlem Hangover in the match, that in itself makes it a great match, don't forget about the Indian Deathlock, which J.R. hasn't seen in 10 years. Nestor, I was THERE for HHH vs. Booker T. It was mediocriffic. Not bad, but not a 'hell of a match' at all. The only great match I've seen with HHH in it was HHH vs. HBK at Summerslam. Booker T hit the Harlem Hangover in the match? JOY! He did it on Big Show last year at Vengeance. Did you think THAT was a hell of a match? Oh, and the Indian Deathlock... Two words; Trailer Hitch. 'Nuff said. We can't ban him because he likes Hunter, though. Wait until he insults the entire board.
Guest Mystery Eskimo Posted June 7, 2003 Report Posted June 7, 2003 don't forget about the Indian Deathlock, which J.R. hasn't seen in 10 years. That's gold, don't ban him. I wonder if he "likes" Kevin Nash too?
Guest nestor Posted June 7, 2003 Report Posted June 7, 2003 It's all about the game and how you play it.
Guest Dangerous A Posted June 7, 2003 Report Posted June 7, 2003 It's all about the game and how you play it. You need to go to NHB with that shit. You'd fit like a glove.
Guest Anglesault Posted June 7, 2003 Report Posted June 7, 2003 It's all about control and how he did take it.
