ICP is to Eminem as Juggalo Championshit Wrestling is to WWE.

A small niche promotion that 99.9% of fans could give less than two shits about because they are a complete and utter joke.

TNA actually has good wrestling. You can't use that comparison. ICP has sucked from the very beganning. Funny music isn't exactly the same a good music. ICP has never EVER put out good music.

Even as an ICP fan I can partially agree with this. Thats why I chose ECW, cuz is see TNA as a new up and comer, where as ECW was that at one time, but is now dead, ICP is very close to dead.

I don't know about NEVER putting out good music, but for the most part I agree. They usually reserve about 3 or 4 tracks on a CD for something that isn't funny, and is good. for me anyways.

Honerable Mentions:

Loose Change by Ja Rule

Although everyone loves to make fun of Ja Rule because it's the "cool" thing to do now. Doesn't hide the fact when he wants to be, is a very good rapper. Venni Vetti Vecci, was a classic album. But he sold out like many rappers before him and after him(Including his rival 50 Cent) to make money. But this song showed us that Ja is capable of being the old hungry MC he once was. He tears apart pretty much everyone in the Aftermath camp. Including putting one of the most brutal lines to Eminem I've ever heard, "Em you claim your mothers a crackhead, and Kim is a known slut/So what's Hallie gonna be when she grows up". After that I had to replay the line like 10 times.

300 Bars and Running by The Game

For over 15 Miniutes, Game rips apart everyone in G-Unit and on the Rocafella roster proving that he is here to stay and does not need the help of 50 Cent or anyone and can make it on his own.

Game Over by Joe Budden

Over Shyne's beat, Joe Budden rips apart Game. After that Game wanted truce with Budden.

LL Cool J/Canibus battle

Both rappers came hard in this battle. Alot of underground fans like to ignore the fact LL came hard in this battle, because of their love of Canibus. But don't forget LL is one of the best battlers of all time.

Drop A Gem on Dem by Mobb Deep

Very Overlooked diss. In my opinion much better then the very overrated Hit Em Up by 2Pac. In this song Mobb Deep lays a verbal assault on 2Pac, and Prodigy proves that at 1 point in time of was one of the best MC's to ever come out of New York.

Jadakiss/Beanie Sigel Battle

Both disses to each other were crazy, and this proved the be one of the best battles in the 00's. Although the popular opinion is that Beans won the battle, don't ignore Jada's diss, because in my opinion it was just as good. Both proved to be one of the best overlooked artists out there.

The Bitch in Yoo by Common

Don't really have to explain anything here, it was just a classic disstrack all around just missed my top 5.

No Vaseline by Ice Cube

Cube in his prime ripping apart every member in N.W.A, proving he was the best MC in that group and he truely was the ghostwriter for most of them.

King of the Hill by Westside Connection

Ice Cube proved to be on another level then Cypress Hill in this track. He lyrically along with Mack 10 ripped them apart. While Cypress Hill tried to come back using their beat, it was nothing close to King of the Hill. Cube one of the greatest battlers in the history of all time.

now on to my Top 5....

5. TIED: Checkmate by Jadakiss & Problem Child by Jadakiss and Styles P

Jadakiss response to 50's lame ass lines directed to him in the very mediorce song Piggy Bank(Jada' don't fuck with me, if you wanna eat/Cause I'll do yo' little ass like Jay did Mobb Deep/Yeah homey in New York niggaz like your vocals/But that's only New York, dog yo' ass is local) after that it was war. About a month after the release of The Massacare, Jadakiss puts out the song Checkmate where he lyrically murders 50. Jada exposes 50 for everything he is: A sell-out, a snitch, and a garbage MC. Not only that, he did on 50's own beat "I'm A Animal" where he goes at Murder Inc.

He rips 50 with vicious lines like:

See me, couple hood niggaz behind stars

I heard you put a couple good niggaz bars

I might never sell that much

But you can bet your last 2 quarters, I never tell that much

Yeah, you got a felony, but you ain't a predicate

Never the King of New York, you live in Connecticut

This is a true fact

Since when has it become cool to get shot and not shoot back

And I don't got a problem with clout

You ain't get shot again yet, so what's your second album about?

Your raps are pre-school, you made a lot of money, now be cool

'Fore I swell up your lips like seafood

Can I get a mic check? You don't stand a chance

To dance with me dog, ya steps ain't right yet

Block is just fine, homie, the D's straight

Most likely your new CD is a weed plate

Bunch of love songs, 100% pure garbage

Just somethin' to break up buds on

You should just sell clothes and sneakers

Cause outta your whole camp your flow's the weakest

I'm in the town where the young boys is clappin'

You runnin' around with the lieutenant and captain,

Jada just went on a all out assault, he didn't leave anything behind. And although 50 fans will go around claiming "Jada sucks cus he doesn't sell as much as 50", real hip hop fans know the truth. After that, Jada allowed his L.O.X counter part Sheek Louch go at 50 and G-Unit for awhile. While Sheek's efforts were very good it didn't match the viciousness of Jada's Checkmate. Summer came around and 50 and Tony Yayo put out another diss track towards the L.O.X, so it was time for Jada to go a 50 again, and this time he wasn't alone. He got his other counter part in the L.O.X, Styles P to go with him this time, in the very underrated diss track "Problem Child". Here Jadakiss exposes 50 for everything he is again with crazy lines such as...

Without Dr. Dre, you would just make slow jams

Come up out of that witness protection program

Hov don't really respect you, get in your place

If BIG was alive, he'd probably spit in your face

Nas was doing just fine without you

And Pac probably would've made an album about you

So I guess that just leaves me here to get rid of you

And Rakim and them, they don't even consider you

EM kno you ain't got nothing for Jada

And I know he appreciates all the money you made him

But you tough and you bad, too bad, you mad

Probably been in your own hood more than you had

Yeah you sold more records than me

But in the streets you gon' always be second to me

We was damn near feelin you

Even though your career's based on somebody damn near killin you

The best wanksta, internet gangsta

Magazine mobster, shit on your whole roster

Battle FUCKING over. Jadakiss 2 50 Cent 0

4. "Takeover" By Jay-Z

I don't really put it up here for him going at Nas, because every line he put in here going at Nas was basically his opinion(Espically him claiming Illmatic was his only hot cd considering Nas has never really put out a bad CD, nothing compared to Illmatic but nothing can be compared to it, and It Was Written was considered a classic by many hip hop fans). But I put it here more because of Jay going at Prodigy of Mobb Deep. While I think Prodigy was one of the best MC's in the late 90's to come out of New York, Jay just ripped him apart. When he showed that picture of Prodigy being a ballerina infront of thousands of people at Summer Jam, there was no way Prodigy could come back from that. That scared Mobb Deep for many years to come. Now finally Mobb Deep is making money after selling their souls to the devil(50 Cent), but Prodigy's street cred will forever be scared.

3. "The Bridge Is Over" by KRS-One

The most influence diss track of all time. No need to explain anything here.

2. "To Da Break of Dawn" by LL Cool J

The most overlooked diss track in my opinion of all time. LL in his prime, and when he was hungry ripping apart all his foes. Ice-T, Kool Moe Dee, MC Hammer didn't stand a chance. LL Cool J proving to be the best battler in his era. After that Kool Moe Dee's career wasn't the same, Ice-T's career wasn't the same and MC Hammer well don't get me started. And after this LL's career took off to all new heights.

1. "Ether" by Nas

Never before have I heard a diss track as vicious as Ether. Nas ripped Jay on everything you could possibly think of: Riding BIG's dick, following around Jaz in his early career, his giant sized lips, and even looking like JJ Evans. It was so bad, when they 1st aired it live on radio with Jay Z live in studio, Jay Z was speechless, and even starting crying. Jay Z was never the same after this, he knew he lost this battle, and Nas once again proved he was the King of New York espically when he released his classic album Stillmatic. Ether brought out the old Nas that people wanted for years. I doubt he will hear anything like this, until Nas releases Bullet X where he gets back at 50 Cent.

By no means am I blind to the fact they have churned out some crap over the years. The build up to the Sixth Jokers Cards didn't really pay off they I had hoped. But Violent Js solo ep. has blown away just about everything Psychopathic has put out since the Bizarre records which are my personal favourite by them. The thing that irks me the most about the critics is that here you have two guys doing just about everything wrong. They don't know shit about music and still have managed to make a career for themselves based off of sheer will power and a shitload of creativity. In this regard I'm like FUCK TALENT. Steve Vai can play a 7 string Ibanez all day long but but why can't he make a CD that sells or is remotly listenable? I'll take creativity every day all day over "talent". I feel the same way about Anal Cunt who also deliver in spades with the fun.

I agree with this 100%, but I wouldn't say Steve Vai is unlistenable wank, and ICP is unbridled creativity. Hah, I say.

If you want to talk about talent without creativity, listen to some certain university jazz ensembles. Nothing but musical dick-waving; no passion whatsoever in their solos, just running up, down, and around chromatic scales and modes as fast as they can. They're playing a lot of notes, but they aren't saying a damn thing.

I ain't quoting because there are some long ass post here but here are some responses.

A: Nastradamus fucking sucked.

B: ICP is/was a very creative musical concept, and some of their production sounded good, but dear lord, the guys lyrics and flow has always been garbage and always will because they are simply not good at what they are attempting to do. They are funny...sometimes...but the songs still suck to me. You will never hear me call something crap unless I have listend to it and I have listend to Great Milinko, Ringmaster, Riddle box, Bizzar and about 2 more albums. When you listen to 5-6 albums out of a groups discography and every single track sucks, I think it is safe to say that they suck. This is all of course one mans opinion.

C: LL came hard, but he admitted he lost. Canibus really murdered the dude. It wasn't even close. And honestly, the only people LL beat in a battle was Ice fucking T. If you listen to Kool Moe D's diss records versus LL's, its no contest. But Moe D was a crosseyed big headed dude in a leather jump suit while LL was a muscular dude with a great smile, thus sold more records, and was more popular which makes people believe that he actually won the battle. LL is quite the overrated battle rapper. Let's Go alone murdered everything LL had to say to Moe D. Thats not even counting Death Blow. Moe D just wasn't nearly as popular as LL and never could dream to be.

D: If Mobb Deep hadn't been such pussy's about Drop A Gem on Dem MAYBE they would get more props from it. Yuo had to do two backflips, say the alphabet backwards, while standing on one leg to get that hidden track to play. And it was only on SOME CD's. You wanna diss someone, DISS them and stop pussy footing about it.

E: No way Loose Change is better than the Em to Ja disses. Better than alot of the 50 to Ja disses, but not the ones Em was there. Although EM was busier murdering Benzino at the time, he still was lighting Ja up.

F: The lack of mentioning Gas Face in this thread is embarassing. You should all be ashamed.

A: Nastradamus fucking sucked.

In your opinion maybe, I gave Nastradamus, 3 1/2 Mic's. It had one of my favorite Nas tracks ever(Come Get Me) and a few other good tracks(Shoot Em Up, Project Windows, and a few others).

C: LL came hard, but he admitted he lost. Canibus really murdered the dude.  It wasn't even close.

Canibus far from murdered him. It was a battle which could of gone either way. "99% of your fans, dont exist", one of the illest responses I've ever heard. In alot of hip hop fans opinions that line ended it. People just don't like to give L his credit because of his mainstream sucess. I love Canibus, and have many of his cd's, but he met his match and brought out the old school LL. And Judging from your name you are problay very biased.

It wasn't even close.  And honestly, the only people LL beat in a battle was Ice fucking T. I've listen to Moe Dee's diss tracks. LEt's Go was very good, and should of been mentioned in my honorable mention. But To Da Break of Dawn had way more impact on the hip hop community. Look's had nothing to do with LL winning the battle, if that was the case then Bow Wow would rip Cormega in a battle. Not only many Hip Hop fans thought To Da Break of Dawn was a better track, but many Hip Hop Artist think of it as one of the greatest tracks ever. Once again it must seem you have alot of hatred towards LL for ending the promising career of your favorite rapper Canibus. But hey this is matter of opinion, I respect yours.

What are you talking about? The released it on their Hell on Earth cd, and it's the number 2 song.

E: No way Loose Change is better than the Em to Ja disses.  Better than alot of the 50 to Ja disses, but not the ones Em was there.  Although EM was busier murdering Benzino at the time, he still was lighting Ja up.

I don't know man, it seemed like Ja did the job he wanted to do. He hurt Em personally, he cussed out his mom, his ex wife, and his daughter all in one line. You gotta be impressed with that. Em did come hard in the track "Bump Heads" but I put Loose Change in their more because of Ja going at Dre and 50.

Destroy & Rebuild is a very underrated diss where Nas rips Cormega and Mobb Deep, and Against All Odds from 2Pac is a really good diss song too.

And I don't agree with the "Hit Em Up is overrated" thing, it's definitely a top 5 diss track.

Fair enough. There plenty of stuff i think is shite that I'm sure somebody else loves.

I might also (getting back on topic) reccomend "Big Daddy Kane vs. Dolomite" from BDK's "Taste of Chocolate" cd. Good stuff as they trade some pretty good blows and talk alot of shit.

As a track, I like Hit Em Up, but as a diss track I don't think it's on the level like say an Ether. 2Pac did more with his emotion then he did with his actual lyric's. 2Pac is easily one of my top 5 favorite rappers of all time, but I didn't think Hit Em Up was top 5.

U Aint Bone by Bone Thugs and Harmony is also a very underrated diss track towards Do or Die and Tha Dogg Pound.

Yeah, Tupacs rant at the end was better than the actual dissing in the song.

And I have no problem with LL. I applaud him for being able to make such a great career out of such medeocre rapping. He is the Kieth Sweat and Mary J. Blige of Hip hop. Not heavy on actual talent, but dammit, they know how to make a hit. I think he made very good music up until 14 shots to the Dome dropped and its been down hill (to me) every since. He definately knows how to be a selling artist more than Canibus who is a one trick pony. But his one trick was battling, and he beat LL down. Those that try to say other wise point to the fact that Canibus's career went no where, but that had everything to do with his first album sucking because the battle with L alone pushed it to gold. He got his buzz for taking L down and blew it with a bad album. (although I actually like it, when your first and only single features you being a sperm, you made a shitty album).

Its like when a boxer loses a fight to the score cards and eveyone says that he should have won. But then the fighter says "Yeah, I lost that." once the fighter envolved admits that they lost, then they lost.
