You forgot the ONE detail no one has mention: when Mitchell comes to the ring for the fireball spot, he DOESn'T HAVE A CANE! Kind of a glaring error for TNA, or Mitchell

Nice job as usual, Dames.

The Heel Section stuff is the LAST thing TNA should be worried about though. If the goal is to be an alternative to WWE, then why start doing the same shit that we've been criticizing WWE for since the WCW buyout? Let people cheer for who they want to cheer for, and if it gets people over that they don't want over, the hell with it and work with it.

Sorry, but trying to control the crowd is one of those things that pisses me off. That's why I hate the sign police at WWE shows.

Aside from watching it myself, this is the best way to find out the working of TNA. Good work, Dames.

I did like the Cyrus/Network angle in ECW, especially when Taz was involved in it... if they let him run with it, this could be a good angle, as well.

Once again, good work Dames. Wish I got TNA though so I can compare your reviews to how I'd feel.

And finally found out that Sydal's first name was. Weee! Finally.

Am I the only one who gets a blank box where the Kazarian/Styles clip should be.

If that's so, then it gives you time to credit me when you fix it. :)

Great job as always Dames, and I'm surprised you didn't mention the screwed up entrance that Stryker did.

I really hope someone comes out and mentions what the hell happened with Luke.

Good stuff as always Dames.

Presumably we won't be hearing this from anyone in the near future - "NWATNA listen to their fans"

If so . . . then maybe they'll bring back Sanders; cause I seem to be the only person that cares. *sigh* I'll just bring this up wherever I can . . . or not; people will really hate me then!

Anyway, seemed pretty good, although it felt it was missing something; but then, what do I know, I can't watch the damn show cause it's a once-a-month-thing in Oz.

Hmph, I say NWATNA only did that because Triple J wants to keep his "babyface" image. Problem is: IT'S NOT JUST THE HEEL SECTION THAT BOO AND JEER YOU!

...or at least by reactions that have been monitored by the proper people to bare judgement upon that.

Am I the only one who gets a blank box where the Kazarian/Styles clip should be.

 Weird, I thought it was only me who was having that problem.

Interesting; I looked at the www.heelsection.com site, and read one of the articles, the one about them being told to shutup and stuff; and one quote struck me . . .

"The Heel Section is just a bunch of freakin' marks who put themselves over at the expense of the talent."

Does anyone know who this is from; because, from where I stand, it sounds like a pretty good description of VINCE Russo.

Except Russo smiles and encourages on his own face reactions when he's supposed to be a heel.

Bryan, I know one of your pet peeves is the way that the WWE try to manipulate the viewer into cheering and booing who they (the company) want - what's your take on this Heel Section nonsense ?

That's BULLSHIT that they're telling the Heel Section to shut up.

I know I'm beating a dead horse but I keep hearing how TNA listens to its fans-

Well- what do you call that?

Great job Dames. I'm only now starting to getting in to reading Diatribes' but it's beginning to become the most looked forward to column of the week :)

I agree with how the Heel Section is handling themselves regarding this whole situation. It'll be interesting to see how the crowd reaction differs without them being there, although apparently the Asshole Section is going to support them, as was shown by the ASS HEEL (hole was crossed out and replaced by Heel) sign.

It will very be interesting next week. I am all for people paying their money and saying what the hell they want, but I can sorta see it from TNA's point of view. When people tell them they need to establish more heels and faces instead of tweeners, it's just a tad hard to do so if the heels are getting cheers.

And could anyone tell me about the Network angle? I never really got to watch ECW that much.

When it become glaringly apparent that TNN was fucking ECW over in their TV deal by not advertising ECW at all, putting them on one of the lowest-viewed timeslots in all of television, and bombarding their programming with commercials, ECW devised an angle of it. Originally, Don "Cyrus" Callis was doing a schtick where he was part of "The Office." Basically, he was doing "shoot" stuff that made sense and could be easily kayfabed and understood by some marks while Russo was all "IT'S A SHOOT/SWERVE, BABAY~!" in WCW.

Anyways, when it became known that TNN was fucking them over, "The Office" became "The Network." Cyrus cut promo's about how he's with TNN and is trying to fuck over ECW in every which way. Fortunately, TNN couldn't do much about it, because the contract stated that only obscenities could be edited out. It was a really good angle. Cyrus would act all snooty and corporate and holier-than-thou. Entertaining as hell.

And, of course, after ECW on TNN was cancelled, but the PPVs were still airing, Cyrus cut a promo (I forget which PPV, probably N2R 00 or Massacre On 34th Street) saying how he cancelled ECW on TNN. "I'm the guy that cancelled ECW, and replaced it with RRRRRRRRROLERRRRRRJAMMMMMMM!!!!!"

I don't know how everyone else missed it, but watching it live, Altar Boy Luke did indeed get eliminated. Someone (forgot who) hit a move on him and pinned him, in the middle of when the other guys were fighting as well, so maybe it was just missed in the chaos of the moment.

Speaking of...

THANK YOU FOR CALLING THE OCEAN CYCLONE RIGHT! Some people just don't have a clue. I love that move. I think Christian needs to steal it.

Great Diatribe...and I'm hoping that something better gets called on for next week. This week didn't give me much hope...

-"The Network" was indeed hilarious. The best part was when he'd plug all of the other horrid shows on TNN to piss the audience off.

"Coming up next....ROLLLLLLLERJAM! Followed by RRRRROCK AND BOWL!"

Anyway, speaking of getting more tag teams, what happened to the New Church? They brought back Mitchell but Slash/Brian Lee are nowhere in site. Those 2 were very over but now theyre gone. Plus we know they can have good matches with AMW. Bring them back. Or the Johnsons, or The Dupps, or Rainbow Express....you know what never mind.

Oh and the stuff with the Heel Section is BULLSHIT. They SHOULDN'T boycott but instead keep coming and chant and cheer louder than ever. They can't stop them. Can you imagine if ECW tryed to censor their front row regulars?

Has there been a movie more influential to wrestling than The Warriors? I mean, it gave us "Can you dig it" and "SUCKAAAAA" ... and both of these lines were said by a guy named Cyrus! And he looked Samoan.
