Guest Space_Cowboy Posted August 9, 2003 Report Posted August 9, 2003 Finishing a match a bit over a day before it's due? I don't even start matches that early, let alone finish them.
WrestlingDeacon Posted August 9, 2003 Report Posted August 9, 2003 I'm up 6665 and hoping to finish today. I'm actually at my office so it will be quiet and I won't be distracted. Of course, there is still this damn internet. *resists temptation to download porn at work*
Hank Kingsley Posted August 9, 2003 Report Posted August 9, 2003 (edited) Hey, it's Quiz, that writing hoss. I sent him 5k and he went and finished the whole thing after we had (well, I had, at least) been struggling through it. Damn that stipulation to hell~ Edited August 9, 2003 by The Superstar
Edwin MacPhisto Posted August 9, 2003 Report Posted August 9, 2003 Hey, it's Quiz, that writing hoss. I sent him 5k and he went and finished the whole thing after we had (well, I had, at least) been struggling through it. Damn that stipulation to hell~ You mean the stipulation of "Quiz and Show blow"? AWWW SNAP: IT'S A CAGE MATCH IN YA ASS!
WrestlingDeacon Posted August 9, 2003 Report Posted August 9, 2003 I don't ever want to see a cage match taking place in somebody's ass.
Guest Suicide King Posted August 10, 2003 Report Posted August 10, 2003 Hmm... Proctologist's Revenge match... nice.
WrestlingDeacon Posted August 10, 2003 Report Posted August 10, 2003 <Frost> and it's the longest match i ever wrote on my own (11:46pm) (JudgeWriting) How long? <Frost> 27,290 (11:46pm) (JudgeWriting) ... (11:46pm) (Evo_451) ... (11:46pm) (Action) * JudgeWriting takes a step back. Whoa. (11:46pm) (@Crow2550) .............................. (11:46pm) (@Crow2550) That's. (11:46pm) (@Crow2550) Just. (11:47pm) (@Crow2550) Insane.
Guest Space_Cowboy Posted August 10, 2003 Report Posted August 10, 2003 Well, that certainly puts my 17,002 word match from 13th Hour to shame.
Edwin MacPhisto Posted August 10, 2003 Report Posted August 10, 2003 Holy nutsack. Cut out Outcast's promo-madness, and that's bigger than both Wargames matches. You are either lying and hilarious, or being truthful and wonderfully insane. I'm likin' it either way.
Guest Suicide King Posted August 10, 2003 Report Posted August 10, 2003 Thank god I don't have to mark that fucker. Whew.
Crippler Crossface Posted August 10, 2003 Report Posted August 10, 2003 God damn, Frost. That's bigger than my 24,500 word losing Clutserfuck match. I salute you, sir.
Crowe Posted August 10, 2003 Report Posted August 10, 2003 That's bigger than my 24,500 word losing Clutserfuck match. Well... obviously.
Guest Suicide King Posted August 10, 2003 Report Posted August 10, 2003 You know, it's been awhile since I said it but I want to make sure that none of you forgot. I rule, while you all suck. Thank you.

Guest Fire and Knives Posted August 10, 2003 Report Posted August 10, 2003 I'm no-showing. I pulled a double last night and my girl wants to hang out today...and Muzz has 13,000 fucking words after RESTARTING at 6k. The man is sicker than me when I *do* feel like writing. I'd have to write for the next eight hours straight to have a shot, and DAMN NO @ that. Good luck, Judge. The Aussie's lost his damn mind. K.
muzz Posted August 10, 2003 Report Posted August 10, 2003 Uhm, Kibs... Judge was the one who restarted.
Justice Posted August 10, 2003 Report Posted August 10, 2003 Uhm, Kibs... Judge was the one who restarted. Perfectionists... aren't we all?
Guest Fire and Knives Posted August 10, 2003 Report Posted August 10, 2003 Well, they told me you restarted. I dunno. I just woke up. K.
Guest Suicide King Posted August 10, 2003 Report Posted August 10, 2003 Silent no-shows. What a freaking shock.
Guest Suicide King Posted August 11, 2003 Report Posted August 11, 2003 And since we're talking about no-shows, I'd like to say how horribly disappointed I am that I have received as many notifications that people aren't going to write. I have booked many matches people specially requested, but I have been informed that due to various sundry reasons (most of which boil down "I didn't feel like writing my storyline match I've been setting up for 4 weeks") that a few people aren't writing. Yes, we write here for fun. But we also read here for fun. We have a responsibility to each other in the fed to finish our angles so that the people who have helped us along and given us encouragement can get the payoff we promised them. It is far better to write 1000 words of crap that at least tie up the story's ends instead of leaving a big open hole in a PPV we've been promoting in several web sites. Ah well. I know I am just wasting my breath.

WrestlingDeacon Posted August 11, 2003 Report Posted August 11, 2003 I think I should let the cat out of the bag and admit that my post from last night was a joke. I went into chat to celebrate being finished and when Judge asked me how long my match was I gave him that random number just to see the reaction. I was then encouraged to post the responses here to see what other would say. Specifically, we wanted to know Flesher's reaction. I imagined him reading the number "27,290" and his eyes spinning in his head like a slot machine, two cherries come up and walnuts shoot out of his mouth.
Edwin MacPhisto Posted August 11, 2003 Report Posted August 11, 2003 Lying and hilarious it is! I approve wholeheartedly. ::dives back into the marking trenches::
Guest Space_Cowboy Posted August 11, 2003 Report Posted August 11, 2003 * vows to make my Genesis IV match exactly 27,290 words long *
Guest Fire and Knives Posted August 11, 2003 Report Posted August 11, 2003 Mine's gonna be 27, 291. Just my Ash match copied over and over and OVER... K.
