haVoc 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2003 We put together some of the best quotes the rock world has to offer. This took a lot of time to put together, so you better fucking appreciate it! Some of the quotes are shit talking, some of them are full of shit, some of them are funny, some are gay, some are contradicting, most are embarrassing, and some are so stupid it's sick. We'll let you decide where each quote comes in at. A lot of this just goes to show you that your favorite "metal stars" are into talking shit just as much as we are. ~~Check This Shit Out~~
Guest BAR Report post Posted August 16, 2003 I didn't get time to read each quote word for word but this is the greatest quote ever. I'ma have to go out and get a BLS album tomorrow for this... "If I ever run into Dave Grohl, I'm gonna kick his fuckin' ass. Because I think he sucks, and he wrote this cheese-dick song for Ozzy that I have to fuckin' play on, and I'll never forgive him for that. Foo Fighters is a fuckin' candyass girl band, but you've got that motherfucker submitting songs, and those douche bags from the Offspring submitting songs, too. I mean, none of thse guys could play a Randy Rhoads solo if they tried. Dave Grohl? Fuck Dave Grohl! Let him get up there and play 'Mr. Crowley'; he can't fuckin' do it. And it's like, you're getting this guy to write songs for Ozzy? Just because he played drums for fucking Shitvana?" - Zakk Wylde, Guitar World, November 2001
Henry Spencer 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2003 Fuck Zakk Wylde. He's overrated as hell, and from what I can gather, he's a fucking asshole.

Nighthawk 0 Report post Posted August 17, 2003 Good quotes besides that one too. Sebastian Bach's were the funniest, I think.
Red Baron 0 Report post Posted August 17, 2003 no way. Zakk knows what he is talking about.
Sandman9000 0 Report post Posted August 17, 2003 "People talk about sex, drugs, and rock and roll. Now that I'm back in the States, I can't wait to have sex and take drugs. I never had enough money to take drugs before. I'm a huge rock star who's never had any drugs, and that's not right. That's unfair." - Moongoose McQueen, Fozzy, MTV Online, October 24, 2000 There's gotta be a HHH joke in there somewhere.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Report post Posted August 17, 2003 "The new material was lame, as Psycho Circus wasn't worth the plastic it was printed on. Even Asylum was better. The days of spotty albums with studio musicians filling in were back. The follow up tour was cut short, we're led to believe that Ace didn't have any good song ideas anymore, and Criss seemingly suffered from Narcolepsy whilst behind the kit. Gone was the novelty of the original KISS lineup. Gone was the excitement. All that was left was four guys who probably still didn't like each other, and a whole lot of money. Basically, they had nowhere else to go, no new ideas to create and no new ground to conquer. They had forced themselves to bow out. And I, for one, am glad that they are going away- That is, until they decide to announce the non-makeup lineup reunion tour in a few years. C'mon, it's KISS, if they can make some bucks from it, they'll do it. Besides, I heard Vinnie Vincent is available." - Chris Jericho, Metal Edge Magazine, August 2000. heh
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Report post Posted August 17, 2003 more Jericho goodness "After rocking Hamburg, Germany with Skid Row's "Slave To The Grind," I made my next stop...The backwoods of Tennessee. Things were a little behind the times when it came to wrestling there, but the promoter assured me that he had the perfect song for me. I was excited, as I had told him of my love for heavy metal and I was assured he'd found a rock tune that would fit my perfectly. Once again, imagine my chagrin and dismay as I was greeted with "Rock America" by Danger Danger! If you ain't heard the track, check your local bargain bin, I'm sure you'll find countless copies... Let's just say, that if you were a wrestler with the gimmick of a puppy loving, transvestite aerobics instructor, then this is the intro music for you!" - WWF Wrestler Chris Jericho talking about his intro music, Metal Edge Magazine, March 2000. Corey_Lazarus 0 Report post Posted August 17, 2003 Yes, Grohl has sold more albums. Which is why I'm sure Ozzy's albums with Zakk - since Zakk writes most, if not all, of Ozzy's songs - definitely sold less than any given Foo Fighters album... Zakk is a prick because he's angry. He's angry that johnny-come-lately motherfuckers are claiming to be metal, claiming to be badass, claiming to be this-and-that, and just being pure corporate shit. He has every single right to be angry. Have you HEARD a BLS album? Hell, even Sonic Brew, the BLS debut and weakest BLS album, is better than 85% of the rock albums on the Billboard 200. Zakk deserves his due credit, but instead he gets called a scabber for replacing his IDOL Randy Rhoades, and a prick because he tells it like it is. Zakk is a heel. A great heel, at that, because he knows he's right. Get the fuck over it. Hmmm... "Before, people would ask what I thought about Megadeth and Anthrax, and in the old days, you had nothing really bad to say. Now they come up and say, "What do you think about Disturbed and Linkin Park?" Well, I could give a fuck about them." - Kerry King, Slayer, Metal Edge April 2002 Proof-positive Kerry has an identity crisis (since Disturbed is good, and Slipknot is not). B. Brian Brunzell 0 Report post Posted August 18, 2003 I've read all of those several times, as I live over at the Sludge. Sebastian Bach is so ridiculously stupid that it's inadvertantly funny.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted August 18, 2003 "I want to dedicate this next song to the lead singer of Creed.... That guy is an egomaniac. He's a fucking punk, and he's backstage right now acting like fucking Michael Jackson. Fuck that motherfucker, and fuck you too.... And if you want, there's going to be a booth with pillows and blankets for when Creed comes on." - Fred Durst, Limp Bizkit, at the K-Rock Dysfunctional Picnic, June 24, 2000 "We are extremely disappointed that Fred Durst has taken his personal feelings toward us public, considering we have never met or spoken to him. We are more disappointed that Fred is manipulating the media and the truth by using Creed as a scapegoat for his own immature and egotistical actions." - Statement issued by Creed, June 2000 "What I said about Creed I meant. The starting time of our New York show had nothing to do with my comments. I bet some fans who have tried to meet them would agree [with me]. I don't ever care about what other people in the business say. Our fans know what we're about and that's all that matters to me." - Fred Durst, responding to Creed's comments, June 2000 I still get a kick out of Durst running away from Stapp...STAPP! God forbid he piss off David Draiman... I would say Lemmy or something but something tells me Fred never heard of him...
