Don't they go to the SB every even number year?

2000-Beat Titans

2001-Lost to the Vikes (?) in Div.

2002- Lost Superbowl

2003-No playoffs.

2004-History looks good...

I'm talking about the fact that Warner is completely back, not the fact that it's a "blowout" or anything. I'm also not banking on the results of the game, because the game is meaningless.

However, Warner isn't putting up some little whiffle ball throws right now, he's firing the ball like he used to and their receivers are catching it. Keep in mind that Faulk isn't even playing.

I think the Rams will win it all, provided Warner doesn't get obliterated.

I'll bite, Tyler. I'll even make it easier for you. I'll bet you that the Rams don't even make it to the Super Bowl, let alone win it.

If they make it there, you win. If not, I win. And to test your belief level in the Rams...

If I win the bet, you have to vote for Bush. :D

NFC West:

Rams

49ers

Cardnals

Seahawks

Yup, the Seahawks will win the division and the Rams will not make the playoffs with 9-7 record.

lets see...

Rams vastly over-rated, and will be nothing but a decent team during the season.

Niners would win the division, but will choke.

Seahawks. Wildcard..Cinderella...Champions.

While I don't think the Hawks are champs (I hope so) I think they are playoff contenders. The D looks great with Springs and Trufant on the corners. Hamlin in there as well. Ray has fired the defense up quite a bit.

The offense looks good as well... except for Jones holding out.

Don't worry, training camp is almost over, Jones will be back soon.

It's just the pre-season. Heck, next week Holt might rupture an ACL or something.

Oh, has Pace returned to the team yet?...

Yeah, that's why I added the injury modifier.

And no, he hasn't, which makes it slightly more impressive. Warner still looks like he's firing the ball, and I think he was one of the major factors in St. Louis' demise last year.

I doubt they'll win the Super Bowl. They'll be lucky to even be in the playoffs being in the same division as the 9ers and the Hawks.

They need major upgrades on defense before they can make it back to the Super Bowl.

Let's not forget, Warner was throwing horrible BEFORE his thumb injury last season. The thumb injury just furthered the down cycle.

NFC West

Rams

Seahawks

Niners

Cardinals

Even ESPN - in their abbreviated evaluation of the team - said that the team isn't a lock to make the playoffs, let alone be a Super Bowl contender. The only reason that they have a legitimate chance of making the post-season is because they play in a weak division (sorry Seahawks fans) ... I mean, two games against the Cards and two games against the Hawks should mean at least 3-4 wins right there. Put the Rams in the AFC West (or AFC East) and they'd be looking at 7-9, or 8-8 at best.

Well, heck. I say the Bengals will win it all this year, provided they score more points than their opponent every week.

Seriously, I don't try to predict how an NFL season will turn out, but my insta-opinion is that the Rams will win their division, not be one of the teams that gets a first-round pass and either lose in the Wild Card or Divisional Playoffs...

The Rams will NOT win the Super Bowl this year or any other year because Mike Martz is a fucking idiot. He's like a cancer to their hopes of winning anything meaningful.

And we all know that the major media sources have been proven correct so many times in the past... who were the Patriots? The Rams in 2000? Err...

Don't forget those Ravens too!

I dont give a rats ass what ESPN, SI, Fanball, ABCDEFG or any other media source says. the NFL is the hardest league to predict, and it has been since the end of the whole Dallas Regime...(America's team my ass)

People like to think of Miami as the favorites in the AFC...what if 3 of their Defensive studs go down with severe injury? DONE...or are they?

People think Tampa can repeat...What if Sapp, K. Johnson, B. Johnson, etc. get injured badly...DONE...or are they?

Any team can win at any given time with only two real exceptions. Cincy and Arizona :)
