I know they listen to their fans more than the WWE does...therefore making them my bestest weekly wrestling option.

Do you really think we want to see Russo hog airtime every week?

RUSSO ISN'T HOGGING AIRTIME. HE WAS ON TV FOR 5-8 MINUTES ON WEDNESDAY. OUT OF A FUCKING 100 MINUTE SHOW. JESUS THIS IS GETTING OLD.

Yes he is. Russo is a non wrestler who is taking up time on a show that I pay $10 for.

There are shows where Russo plays a reduced role- but then there are shows where he is on it for too much- it's unacceptable

8 fucking minutes? You are complaining over 8 motherfucking minutes? During those 8 minutes, AJ Styles was put over. AND it also futhered the Daniels/Jarrett thing. I would be more pissed at Bradshaw taking up 8-10 minutes on a $40 PPV than Russo actually progressing something in that same time frame for 1/4th of the price.

Last week, Russo was on TV for 8 minutes maybe. Doing what? Setting up the Styles/Low Ki match. And if you count Russo doing commentary as "taking up time" then Mike Tenay and Don West are the biggest time hoggers in the world.

The week before that, Russo was on screen for 4 minutes maybe in the AJ Styles sit down interview. Unless you count being handcuffed to Erik Watts "hogging time from the wrestlers".

The week before that Russo was on screen for 2 minutes maybe in that sit down interview with Mike Tenay.

The week before that Russo was on screen for 5 minutes probably in an "argument" with Styles and running in during the main event arguing with the ref.

The week before Russo was on screen maybe 7-10 minutes setting up the D'Lo Brown/AJ Styles 2/3 falls match for the next week.

The least time Russo was even on TV for more than 10 minutes on July 9th when he and Legend beat up Jarrett 3 times or something.

Considering the show is less then 2 hrs long- that 8 minutes takes up a lot of time.

During those 8 minutes, AJ Styles was put over.

Not because of Russo.

AND it also futhered the Daniels/Jarrett thing.

Russo could've not been there at all and all this could've occured.

I would be more pissed at Bradshaw taking up 8-10 minutes on a $40 PPV

At least Bradshaw is an actual wrestler.

than Russo actually progressing something in that same time frame for 1/4th of the price.

Styles and Daniels could get over without Russo.

Russo being taller then AJ and Low Ki just makes the other two look like jokes- He shouldn't be managing AJ Styles.

The week before that, Russo was on screen for 4 minutes maybe in the AJ Styles sit down interview.

It would've been nice to just hear AJ.

The week before that Russo was on screen for 2 minutes maybe in that sit down interview with Mike Tenay.

Furthering a feud that has gone on FOREVER and yet is never going to have a suitable blowoff.

The week before Russo was on screen maybe 7-10 minutes setting up the D'Lo Brown/AJ Styles 2/3 falls match for the next week.

Are you referring to the show where Russo main evented an episode of TNA? Yea- good stuff.

hey bob barron..... no disrespect or anything i got a legitimate question for ya...

I am probably still considered a relative noob here because i haven't posted that much but i have been reading the board for a while now and have just notcied a few things in your posts....

Just wondering why do you continually shit on TNA saying that the shows always blow and shit but then you sometimes defend the WWF's shows when as of late from what i have seen of TNA... TNA's shows have been heaps better than WWE shows.... like this last show for example.... I thought it was one of the best TNA shows i have seen ever.... and you basically said it blew and i have noticed in previous week when the shows have had decent to good reviews you still haven't liked it... Is the Russo & Jarrett hate clouding your vision...?

So, again... nothing personal or anything just wondering why you continue to shit on TNA yet defend WWE when WWE of late clearly have the shitter product...?

(i don't venture into the WWE folder too often but sometimes in this folder and sometimes when i go in the WWE folder i see your posts..)

Thanks

Mick

Mainly because I got tired of seeing the WWE folder with rampant negativity while everyone seemed to heap TNA's praises. I also noticed t hat in their commercial ads- TNA kept proclaiming themselves as the alternative- when they were anything but. I look at TNA objectively- I loved the Anniversary and Cage match shows and do enjoy some of the product from time to time. I just think many people like it cause it's not WWE.

when as of late from what i have seen of TNA... TNA's shows have been heaps better than WWE showslike

Vengeance blows away anything TNA has done this year. Some episodes of TNA aren't much better then RAW or Smackdown!

I do hate Vince Russo and Jeff Jarrett and I do hate what they're doing to TNA and AJ Styles. I loved AJ v. Low Ki and have been loving the Gathering v. New Church angle. But TNA has major brainfarts that are uncalled for- ie: Booking bullshit finishes in ladder matches.

So, again... nothing personal or anything just wondering why you continue to shit on TNA yet defend WWE when WWE of late clearly have the shitter product...?

I don't think the WWE product is worse then TNA. I've enjoyed the last two SD!s and WWE's last PPV offering.

My beef with TNA is the lack of consistency, overabundance of Russo, and making AJ Styles look like Chris Jericho.

Remember what TNA was like when it started? Sure, there was the crap (Miss TNA, Dupp Cup), but everything else was very good, even great, so it was tolerable. Even Malice vs. Heavy D was good. AJ Styles was main-eventing in his feud with Jerry Lynn over the X-Division title and respect, and the X-Division was the highlight.

Fast forward a couple months. Boring shows, X-Division champion Sonny Siaki, and AJ Styles going practically nowhere. Jarrett is now Superman instead of the TNA Chairswinging Freak (I'd prefer Jarrett as a badass cocky heel, as would nearly all of TNA's fanbase), and each show ending in a TNA/SEX brawl.

I don't expect every show to be stellar. I don't. But I DO expect every show to balance good-great WRESTLING with good-great ANGLES, like how it used to be. Back when everything made sense. Back when shock value wasn't necessary. BACK BEFORE RUSSO.

Oh, and TNA keeps Russo because viewership has increased since he joined the company full-time (for two reasons: Sports Entertainment vs. Tradition WAS a good storyline for a while, and it's only natural that a company would get more of an audience after 4 or 5 months of existence), and the TNA Marks over at TotalNonStop (which TNA practically gives blowjobs to, and they visit those forums often) love everything TNA feeds them, even the shit.

Basically, we all need to go to TotalNonStop and every other forum where there's a TNA board, and make our dislike of the current product known. Then TNA could either stop listening and prove to us all that they are just WWE without a TV show and with a smaller audience, or they could change.

The only time Russo wasn't with the company was from September-November of 2002 and those months drew the lowest buyrates in their history. They dipped to almost 5,000 some weeks. The storylines while he was gone were really boring. The stuff with him there now is exciting most of the time. I do agree that there are too many screwjob endings, which is Russo's weakness.

Some of the shows whilst Russo wasn't there were really good shows, IMO.... I think Show 17 or 18 was really really good.... And i think the 2 Jarrett's booked that...

Russo has been around since week 5, so what are you complaining about "BEFORE RUSSO"?

Week 5 was coincidently when TNA shows started to become hit-or-miss like they still are now. Low Ki vs. The Amazing Red, while good, wasn't given enough time like their ROH match was, and I remember most of the other matches on the Week 5 show either being shit or average too(remember Shamrock's brief bodyguard from that show? BORING).

As a person who has never seen an episode of TNA, I can only really give you the impressions that I have about the show based on what I've read and heard. But I'm talking anyway... The biggest issues that TNA seems to have is being able to holding onto the momentum they might gather from week to week.

The Truth was going to be this big breakout star but got derailed into complete limbo where he's stuck teaming with Konan and BJ James.

Raven was going to be huge, and they refused to put him over.

The X-division was a machine of good matches that were getting major league action and time ... then they put the strap on Sonny Siaki and it was midcard city.

TNA for all their "ability to listen to the fans", have shown incredibly poor judgment as far as their major angles that might have actually drawn in new viewers. Anything that is new or exiting gets buried and you end up with SEX version whatever we are on now and continuing pushes for projects that people aren't all that interested in.

Russo's fault. I think.

Raven's fault. And if you dont call 1000 people giving you the loudest pop in the arena, I dont know what you consider "over".

And some people need to realize this. TNA listens to the fans, but they dont hand out surveys asking what new angle you would like. Doing that would kill the company. Like the WWE, if they just threw Matt Hardy and John Cena in a main event fued putting the title on Cena, how many people do you think would take it serious? You have a rapper and a arrogant guy feuding. It might seem good to you, but it might not to others. So TNA takes our opinions on things and fixes them up, or do whatever. Its like when I emailed Borash. I still haven't figured out if I had any influence, but I emailed him suggesting the X Division/Luchadores fued. But emailing them saying "Fued Raven and Malice" isn't going to get you anywhere. If they have a program planned for someone or plan on doing something in the near future, or are doing things they think are right, you aren't going to change that. You can't go to Microsoft and say "Make a OS that is stable" if they have something else planned.

ummmmmm........30 dollars!

No,$25 dollars, unless your comparig it to WM.........Plus, I would rather see Russo in a 100 min. show with no commercials then Vinnie Mac for 15-20 mintues in a two hour show WITH commercials.....

But Vinnie Mac is free.

Vince Russo costs $10
