Guest Ray Report post Posted August 27, 2003 HHH is a hell of a wrestler The year 2000 called, they want me to tell you it's over. HHH has not had any great matches since his return from the quad injury.
Guest The Real Nosferatu Report post Posted August 27, 2003 HHH/HBK was kind of great, but I preffer to think u meant something with him versus not his best friend.
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted August 27, 2003 Even then HHH/HBK was overrated in my opinion.
Guest The Real Nosferatu Report post Posted August 27, 2003 I wouldn't go any higher than **** but it was pretty good even though HBK sold the back like shit for the better part of the last 5 minutes.
Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted August 27, 2003 What's your point? He beat three men cleanly and then lost via a cheating sledgehammer shot from the evil heel. That fits the character perfectly. No it's not. The heel is supposed to you know, wrestle, in the match BEFORE utilizing his weapon of choice. And seriously, how can you justify the single sledgehammer shot as "fitting his character perfectly"? Unless you actually mean in real life then sure, I got it. But if HHH is the playing the "Whole Damn Show" gimmick, I expect the bastard to live up to it with actual in ring talent. After the quad injury, he's worse than Taker. And that's saying a lot. LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted August 27, 2003 I wouldn't go any higher than **** but it was pretty good even though HBK sold the back like shit for the better part of the last 5 minutes. I thought most of the first part until HBK started on the comeback was slow and boring. Then the only cool part was HBK's comeback offense and spots. But then HBK started no selling the back big time after they spent so much time building on his back injury. That killed it for me.
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted August 27, 2003 Steiner didn't lose his first match, he won it by DQ. And how come the brilliant HHH couldn't get out of the second match or get the career stip placed on the rematch? Afterall, he's been able to manipulate Goldberg and Steiner hasn't exactly been known for his smarts. Booker got his shot awarded by Austin which Goldberg probably could have gotten too if he wasn't such a dumb shit. I haven't really seen any indication of the WWE portraying Goldberg as a "dumb shit". You can say that HHH knows how to push Goldbergs buttons and Goldbergs confidence is enough to put his career on the line for the title... but then you'd have to say the same for Kane, Nash, Steiner, Booker, Shawn, RVD since they all supposedly want the title and have gotten the upperhand on HHH to give them enough confidence... Which wouldn't explain why HHH is only now pulling out the career stip I don't remember Kane getting another one-on-one title shot for a long time. Probably since he was so introverted, he reacted by just attacking HHH physically instead of getting a microphone and asking him for another title shot. See, that's the character development I was talking about. Ah, so this all naturally leads Kane wanting to fight in a casket match? Or how about Kane participating in Tag matches w/ HHH and holding the tag rope? Oh that Kane, always using his brawn and never his brains... gotta love character development. Guest Ray Report post Posted August 27, 2003 HHH/Shawn sucked. ****? Nope. More like **1/2. Overrated garbage match. piss poor selling. Nip up after 10 minutes of huge backwork. crap.
Guest The Real Nosferatu Report post Posted August 27, 2003 I wasn't going by the actual wrestling, just my enjoyment. Not that I like HBK as a person, but most of his matches ruled so I marked out. As a person, HBK can go to hell. I said I wouldn't go Higher than 4Stars. I haven't seen the match in months so maybe it's not as good as the first few times. Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted August 27, 2003 HHH's one year reign begins on December 15th, 2003. He LOST the belt to HBK, idiot. Just because he soon won it back didn't mean it didn't happen. Next time read into what I'm saying...idiot
CanadianChick 0 Report post Posted August 27, 2003 It's been a year, huh? I don't like it, but to be honest, looking at his opponents in the last year, there's not much option. People who I wouldn't of minded with the belt that HHH feuded with (except for Shawn since he actually got the belt): RVD. Wow, that's a lot! Sorry, but everybody else (including Booker T) I would have not liked with the belt.
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted August 27, 2003 Hmm... Funny that.
Adam 0 Report post Posted August 27, 2003 I would have liked these people with the belt over HHH: RVD, Kane, Jericho, Booker, The Brooklyn Brawler, Doink, Garrison Cade and The Hurricane.
Austin3164life 0 Report post Posted August 27, 2003 RVD should've won the belt when people started to pop loud for him again around Unforgiven time. We then could've seen RVD vs. Chris Jericho at WM XIX for the Raw Main Event, or something else good. I don't like Triple H with the belt, but there aren't really any credible opponents out there. Goldberg's credibility is hanging by a thread, and I doubt Kane is getting a "World Title" run. I suggest they find a way for Jericho to win the belt, because he's the only redeeming quality of Raw. Guest Ray Report post Posted August 27, 2003 Yeah, because everyone knows Van Dam should have won the title at No Mercy 2001.

STFU n00b the point is that the belt has been in the hands of the kilq and therfore HHH a whole year Hey, wow, you can call me a n00b Want a medal? Learn to use grammar and how to spell and then maybe I'll care. The fact is, they planned to give Kane the belt but he wasn't over enough. They wanted to give Steiner the belt but he sucks. They wanted to give Booker T the belt but he was talking about retiring. While I would like to see the belt on somebody other than the Clique, there wasn't anybody ready. Booker? Kane? RVD? Jericho? all more over than HHHitler. Even Goldberg was the other night and he was still fucked over.
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted August 27, 2003 The HHH/Goldberg interview totally turned me off Raw last night. Whenever something could be said in 3 minutes, but takes up 15 - you know you're going to get a bad show. Goldberg: HHH, get out here or I will come back there and beat your ass. *HHH comes out* HHH: Goldberg, I'm the champ, I beat you last night, look at my muscles. Goldberg: I want a match. HHH: No... there isn't anything I want from you... expect one thing, put your career on the line. Goldberg: Ok. JR: BAH GAWD *over* ^ = FUNNY
Guest MissMattitude Report post Posted August 27, 2003 Oh, and I almost guarantee you that HHH will job cleanly at Unforgiven. He's the one with the evil stable watching his back. And it will have 100 times more impact than if he'd just lost to Booker T at Wrestlemania. From what do you base this opinion from. When was the last time he lost a big time match cleanly. Actually, Trips changed the finish to him winning to keep the belt strong for Goldberg, who was comming in and who he was going to feud with immideately. Funny how it took them... 4, 5 months for it to happen, isn't it?
