Use Your Illusion 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2003 New Jack was on the Get in The Ring Radio show this week and broke the news that he has been released from NWA TNA. He said that he didn't do anything that Jeff Jarrett told him not to do and that Jeff just made up a reason to get rid of him. He told Jeff Jarrett right before he left that he used a guitar as a weapon long before Jarrett did. Jeff didn't say anything back. Yeah, you sure showed him, Jack. credit: WrestleView
Use Your Illusion 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2003 Also: He also said that he had to do the Shark Boy gimmick as punishment for using a fork and staple gun in a match against the Sandman. Despite wrestling at the Fairgrounds, the state of Tennessee has a warrant for his arrest for "kicking someone's ass". He said that he has jumped off thirty five feet balconies and he doesn't understand how everyone gave Foley so many props for jumping off the cell and he doesn't get any credit for what he did. (Yes, I believe he has done many more crazy falls than Mick. The time he fell onto a table with Vic Grimes was insane. Scroll down to read what Joey Styles said about it.) Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2003 PUNISHMENT? Jack, considering that the Shark Boy thing was pretty fucking hilarious all in all, you should shut your talentless mouth and be happy about, you know, actually collecting a TNA pay check unlike wrestlers with actual wrestling ability. Oh, well, he's gone now. God, I'll miss him so. *Rolls eyes*
Guest Dynamite Kido Report post Posted September 5, 2003 Quick run down of New Jack : He may have used the guitar before Jarrett, but didn't Honky Tonk Man use it before both of them? That's what I thought. Oh and I guess he doesn't realize that people praise Foley for a hell of a lot more than a fall off the cell......

Yeah, you sure showed him, Jack. credit: WrestleView I'm guessing that Jarrett didn't say anything back because he was giving him a "What the fuck kind of insult is that" look. Say what you will about New Jack, that no wrestling talent having son of a bitch can get over ANYWHERE at ANYTIME. He can get the kind of heat most wrestlers dream of. That is a talent in itself. Of course he can't do a single wrestling move, but hey...
Guest Jay Z. Hollywood Report post Posted September 5, 2003 Was New Jack using the guitar in 1996? Because that's when JJ first busted it out against Ahmed Johnson...
teke184 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2003 According to Perry Saturn, New Jack is capable of doing a wrestling move but is too damn lazy, preferring to brawl instead. That's why Saturn hated facing the Gangstas so much.
Nevermortal 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2003 Difference between Foley & New Jack's bumps: People actually CARED about Foley's big bumps. They did not happen at every show, so when one happened, it was a big deal. Whereas New Jack jumped off the balcony every night to the point that it meant less and less each and every time he did it. Fuck New Jack.
Guest The Decadent Slacker Report post Posted September 5, 2003 If I cared about New Jack, i might just be pissed. I'd wager in the next few years, he'll be remembered for 3 things: justifiable homicide, ugly balcony dives, & helping to make Shark Boy a star. Honorable mention goes to Mass Transit & the Vic Grimes bump. So there's no Jack, no Sandman for the time being, no Credible-It just got EONS better wrestling wise, didn't it? Tawren 0 Report post Posted September 6, 2003 New Jack sucks. I hope he stays the fuck away from pro wrestling, because all he does is balcony dives and crappy brawling. WOW~! Whatever.
Use Your Illusion 0 Report post Posted September 6, 2003 Was New Jack using the guitar in 1996? Because that's when JJ first busted it out against Ahmed Johnson... Who cares? It's NEW JACK. He'll never come close to being able to draw like Jeff Jarrett (not that he's on Austin-levels or anything, but at least he, you know, draws money to some extent). Jarrett could wrestle circles around the idiot, as well as blow him out of the water in terms of outright charisma. Have fun in XPW, Jack. UYI
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted September 6, 2003 It's no big loss. The only matches Jack could really do was dreck like the Hard 10, so i'm hardly going to lose sleep about not getting to see New Jack matches anymore.
Guest Mindless_Aggression Report post Posted September 6, 2003 Jarret is the better wrestler obviously but New Jack is one of the most bizarrely charismatic guys in the business. Guy can cut an angry pissed off promo or a funny nonsensical "the fuck?" promo too. I woulda kept him around for at least a speaking role. Jarret can't even touch him on that level, which isn't anything against Jarret, not many can IMO. But yeah, not a huge loss for TNA.
Guest TonyJaymzV1 Report post Posted September 6, 2003 With the money they pay ex ECW "Stars" they good get great young talent, like Austin Aries, Chad and Dino(who would get over HUGE in TNA with their Jay and Silent Bob Slacker gimmick...HUGE!), The Bruiser etc. Instead of spending so much money on ex stars, make new stars. Daniels, Styles, AMW, Brown, Raven etc. all became huge stars, so why not do that, and save your self the prima donna shit.
cynicalprofit 0 Report post Posted September 6, 2003 New Jack has never done a wrestling move, so he's like the only guy who hasn't stolen anything from Nova or Liger.
Guest JacK Report post Posted September 7, 2003 So there's no Jack, no Sandman for the time being, no Credible-It just got EONS better wrestling wise, didn't it? BUT . . . there's no Mike Sanders! Without him, well, they're missing a hell of a lot . . . he's heaps good damnit! *sigh* Forever doomed to bitch aboot Sanders's dissappearance. And also, hasn't Sandman been on like 2 of the last 3 or 4 shows or something?

Anyway, yeah good riddance to New Jack, no way he can keep up with TNA's new style. Him and Shark Boy were funny though. "No way, black people don't like water. Last time was when we were all on a big ship and that ride was no fun....fine....see, now my ass is all wet!"
