That's right, Michael Jordan couldn't take this team to the playoffs, but GILBERT ARENAS WILL, DAMMIT~!

I read this in the Indianapolis Star.

*stares blankly*

Y..you're kidding right?

You add 18 points from a point guard that doesn't like to pass and you think THAT will get you to the playoffs.

What do the Wizards have, like 50 2 guards and one big man. That isn't going to get them anywhere.

Do they even have a coach yet?

Ya buddy, we have Eddie Jordan, who some say was really the one coaching the Nets. He's bringing the Princeton offense, which Richard Jefferson says can get a team with no talent 30 wins. And we just didn't add Arenas, we added Jarvis Hayes, a lights out shooter, and Jared Jeffries, a 7'0 small forward who can play 4 posistions, we also added pg's Chris Whitney, Steve Blake. We got rid of 38% shooting Byron Russell and Flagrent foul Charles Oakley, and dribble out the shotclock Tyrone Lou. We're going to be a hell of a fast team, and Gilbert can run the break with the best in the league. Meanwhile MJ slowed the team down, making them play a half court game when they had no shooters. We've improved at 4 out of 5 posistions, and have one of the best backcourts in the East, so yes, playoffs is a big possibility.

Chris Whitney (G, 5-10, 160)- Two guard that has to play the point because of his size ie: Troy Hudson, Damon Stodemire.

Juan Dixon (G, 6-3,164)- Undersized Two guard

Gilbert Arenas (G, 6-3, 191)- Undersized Two guard

Steve Blake (G, 6-3, 172) (DRAFTED)- Two Guard

Larry Hughes (G, 6-5, 184) - Two Guard

Bobby Simmons (G-F, 6-6, 235) - Two Guard

Jerry Stackhouse (G-F, 6-6, 218) - Two Guard

Jarvis Hayes (G-F, 6-7, 220) (DRAFTED)- Sleeper to win Rookie of the Year

Bryon Russell (G-F, 6-7, 225)- Two GUard that can't shoot

Charles Oakley (F, 6-9, 248) - FINALLY a forward

Jahidi White (F-C, 6-9, 290) - Forward that can't score.

Etan Thomas (C, 6-10, 260) - Forward that can't score, defend or rebound

Jared Jeffries (F, 6-11, 230) - Will be bounced around like a child...needs more weight

Christian Laettner (F-C, 6-11, 245) - Small Forward that thinks hes a PF

Kwame Brown (C, 6-11, 248) - Due for a break out season

Brendan Haywood (C, 7-0, 268) - Lazy, non rebounding, non shotblocking, non scoring Center

So the team has 8 two guards, no real inside presence and no real point guard.

And do we need to remind people of Eddie Jordans last coaching job. This team has the talent to trade and make a good team. They need to get to work.

The East is up for grabs, especially the last 2 or 3 spots. The Wiz could conceivably make the playoffs as a 7 or 8 seed, because it probably wont take more than 42 or 43 wins to get that spot in the east.

Its not laughable, but making the playoffs as the 8 seed only to get bounced in the first round isn't saying much.

The thing with MJ is, he made the team a slow half court team with no shooters. Eddie is bringing over the fastbreak offense, which fits perfectly with our players strengths. And it's not just losing MJ, we also got rid of 38% shooting Russel, and Flagrent Foul Oakley. We picked up Jarvis Hayes, who was the best shooter in the draft, and Steve Blake, who was the best passer in the draft.

BTW, I wouldn't call Arenas an undersized 2 guard, I mean the man DID average 6 assists a game.

He averaged six by entering the ball to Jamison on the post 6 times a night.

Yes...most point guards get their assists by feeding their teammates...I'm not exactly seeing your point.

John Stockton : gets assist on the break, hitting cutters, setting up teamates. Dictates the pace of the game.

Gilbert Arenas: Is the designated man to enter the post to Jamison, gets out of the way.

The difference...you and I could do the second one. A point guard does the first one. Gilbert doesn't do the first one. GILBERT looks for his own shot and shoots the ball whenever possible. If the coach calls Antwains number, he enters the post and gives Jamison room to opperate. That does not make a point guard.

He is STILL a undersized 2 guard, and everyone will see this when the season starts. I am going out on a limb and guessing I was the only one watching Warrior games with regularity. Gilbert Arenas is the very definition of overrated.
