Guest wwF1587 Posted September 12, 2003 Report Posted September 12, 2003 Booker T. stated on Byte This today that his back his feeling better, and that he expects to return to WWE in October. Booker did state that he doesn't plan to remain an active wrestler for many more years, but that he wants to have one more World Title program credit 411mania.com YAH!! I am really excitted to have booker t back in october. Glad to hear the injury wasnt as serious as first stated. I hope the wwe gives him the world title one more time. But it looks like booker is coming back just to be buried again. ::sigh::
MarvinisaLunatic Posted September 12, 2003 Report Posted September 12, 2003 I dont see it happening...
Downhome Posted September 12, 2003 Report Posted September 12, 2003 Booker did state that he doesn't plan to remain an active wrestler for many more years, but that he wants to have one more World Title program credit 411mania.com He will get his "one more World Title program", but he'll NEVER win another World Championship in WWE. He has stated over and over that within a year or so, he's calling it quits.
Guest Boo_Bradley Posted September 12, 2003 Report Posted September 12, 2003 Reform the nation of Domination, Booker as leader, give him and RAW the new Dynamic
Just call me Dan Posted September 12, 2003 Report Posted September 12, 2003 Theodore Long's crap should be a clear message that those kinds of groups fall on deaf ears.
Guest Coffey Posted September 12, 2003 Report Posted September 12, 2003 Booker T., as a heel, should return and win the World Title. Especially if Hunter is going to be a face with the title. Who else to win it from him except for the pissed off Booker who Hunter decimated in the past? I'd rather have that than Kane...
BifEverchad Posted September 12, 2003 Report Posted September 12, 2003 Sweet, can't wait for Booker to return as the tag team partner of ROSIE~!
BifEverchad Posted September 12, 2003 Report Posted September 12, 2003 Don't even joke about that shit. Dude, at this point in my wrestling watching career, I have very little to be excited about and potential excitement gets me down in the end. Booker ain't never gon' hold the World Title again. Simple.
Guest Choken One Posted September 12, 2003 Report Posted September 12, 2003 HHH still needs his Ron Garvin...unless Shawn was that guy...
Lord of The Curry Posted September 12, 2003 Report Posted September 12, 2003 Psssssst. I'll let you you guys in on a little secret. Booker T is black. And black people don't win world title's because white people are better then them. Jeeeeez. You think you would've learned after 'Mania.
haVoc Posted September 12, 2003 Report Posted September 12, 2003 I could deal with heel Booker returning to face Goldberg. Triple H is suppose to be taking a month or two off so Booker would be good to put Goldberg against.
Guest Boo_Bradley Posted September 12, 2003 Report Posted September 12, 2003 Booker's charisma could make the nation work Henry, D- Von, Mack, Jacklyn, Jazz, Orlando Johnson can jump Teddy Long= Clarance Mason
CanadianChick Posted September 12, 2003 Report Posted September 12, 2003 Just because someone wants a World Title program doesn't mean they'll get one. Didn't Goldust say he wanted one a few monthes back?
Guest Trivia247 Posted September 12, 2003 Report Posted September 12, 2003 he wants to work another world title program so he can make hunter look good and subject himself to a near racist Punk out in the process.
OldSchoolWrestling Posted September 12, 2003 Report Posted September 12, 2003 Booker T will be returning on the 10/5 WWE RAW brand house show. He will team with Rob Van Dam to take on Triple H and Randy Orton. Credit: 1wrestling.com
DerangedHermit Posted September 12, 2003 Report Posted September 12, 2003 Hey Booker, I want a million dollars, but that's not gonna happen.

Not Christopher Walken the other guy...

Not Christopher Walken the other guy... Good call there, The Rock sure was the first Black World Champion and he made a good one. I think Booker will get another title reign. I think he should come back as a heel though so he can take the strap from Goldberg not Triple H, but it will never happen. Hunter is for sure gonna win it back at SS.
Vyce Posted September 12, 2003 Report Posted September 12, 2003 Not to take anything away from Rock's accomplishments..... ....but he's not the best example to use. He's as "high-yellow" as they come (I personally think the Samoan features dominate). Until an actual DARK-SKINNED wrestler becomes WWE champ, I'm not going to be that impressed.

cabbageboy Posted September 12, 2003 Report Posted September 12, 2003 Oh no, Booker and RVD vs. HHH and Orton on house shows. Let the double burying begin! On the upcoming house show here in Louisville I think it is RVD/Booker/Shawn vs. HHH/Flair/Orton. The only thing I know there is that Shawn won't job for his team, heh.
KTID Posted September 13, 2003 Report Posted September 13, 2003 The Rock sure was the first Black World Champion. So Bobo Brazil, Ron Simmons and all those others just don't count I take it.
Guest Phoenix Posted September 13, 2003 Report Posted September 13, 2003 That was WCW. In the WWF it was a big deal when he won the strap. Ahmed Johnson was almost the first black WWF champion when he was in a fued with the Undertaker, but he got hurt and The Rock just starting gaining his heel potential. They had to give him the strap. So yes Bobo and Ron don't count.
KTID Posted September 13, 2003 Report Posted September 13, 2003 Oh right, anything outside WWE doesn't matter in wrestling, i forgot.
Fökai Posted September 13, 2003 Report Posted September 13, 2003 Oh right, anything outside WWE doesn't matter in wrestling, i forgot. What are you replying to? The basis of the earlier post was that anything outside of the WWE wasn't relevant for THIS argument - not in general. He's as "high-yellow" as they come (I personally think the Samoan features dominate). Until an actual DARK-SKINNED wrestler becomes WWE champ, I'm not going to be that impressed. He's more than a qualified amount of AFRICAN-AMERICAN (look towards his father) - in all honesty, I think that's all that matters. The complaints of "no black champions" by wrestling analysts went out the window when Booker and Rock held the World titles simulatenously in the summer of 2000. And if the Rock isn't considered black, that leaves TWO people in the promotion that would qualify, sadly.
Lil' Bitch Posted September 14, 2003 Report Posted September 14, 2003 Well, considering that Booker was supposed to win at WM...
TheFranchise Posted September 14, 2003 Report Posted September 14, 2003 Well, considering that Booker was supposed to win at WM... *yawn*
Red Baron Posted September 14, 2003 Report Posted September 14, 2003 Sweet, can't wait for Booker to return as the tag team partner of ROSIE~! The New Harlem Heat right here... anyways, Booker comin back would help Raw in all ways possible
