tpww7 Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 Apparently this site takes wrestling betting, I just heard about it on WOL... http://www.thegreek.com/sports/home.asp I really want to bet on Goldberg- H....
Steviekick Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 Funny stuff...I'd bet on Goldberg as well.
Guest Galactic Gigolo Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 Max wager $50 per customer, regardless of line movement. Vince McMahon: FUCK!
Guest Eagan469 Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 we should seriously examine the spoilers and collectively get rich off this
Guest Fook Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 9/21/2003 7:00 PM Who will go throw a table first in match Wager is for Dudley Boyz - La Resistance & American turncoat match only. If two or more wrestlers go throw a table (1st in match) at the same time, wager has no action. Max wager $50 per customer, regardless of line movement. All wrestlers must compete 951 Bubba Ray Dudley 952 D Von Dudley 953 Spike Dudley 954 Sylvan Grenier 955 Rod Conway 956 Field Who's Field? Is that Dupree's new gimmick name?
The Czech Republic Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 How can you bet on a predetermined sport??
tpww7 Posted September 15, 2003 Author Report Posted September 15, 2003 If I have money to spare I'm definetly putting it on Goldberg to try this thing out..he's like a 99.9 % surefire win.
Guest Coffey Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 The site looks flaky to me. No way I would send those people money. Especially when they have typing errors in the match description... Very unprofessional.
AndrewTS Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 Okay...the spoilers say that Goldberg will win... HHH almost always wins... This site is called "the Greek..." HHH likes anal... Anal is often called-- HHH is behind this! He's conning you out of your money!
tpww7 Posted September 15, 2003 Author Report Posted September 15, 2003 There was an ad for it during Dave Meltzer's radio show, thats the first time I had even heard of it.
Guest Palumbo the Janitor Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 If I ever won the lottery, I don't think I'd stop being a janitor. I like to keep busy.
Guest Eagan469 Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 Imagine if we all placed $50 on Goldberg and he lost. The HHH hate would hit a fever pitch.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 I think its a given HHH is losing though So I would imagine Goldberg is the favorite.
Ace309 Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 HHH is behind this! My work here is done.
AndrewTS Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 HHH is behind this! My work here is done. I didnt notice that.

Guest webmasterofwrestlegame Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 Interesting they haven't shown the odds for the World Title match yet - for the Elimination Chamber they had HHH and Jericho joint favourites at odds that basically said you'll get your money back if you bet on them and they win. I gurantee they'll offer the same for Goldberg here. The best story ever was the bookies here in England who offered HHH at 10/1 to win 2002 Royal Rumble. Stupid idiots took a pounding and suffice to say, they do not take bets on wrestling any more...
Spaceman Spiff Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 9/21/2003 7:00 PM Who will go throw a table first in match Wager is for Dudley Boyz - La Resistance & American turncoat match only. No, picking "Field" means you're betting that *someone* will get put through a table, you're just not choosing a particular person. Should be a lower payout than if you had chosen a specific person.
Guest Blackston Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 No, Field means that someone not listed will go through a table. For instance, if the Hurricane came out during the match and got promptly thrown through a table, then Field would win the bet.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 Well theoretically, someone in the "field" could go through the table first, but the match wouldnt be over.
Guest ravman77 Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 A big UK sports betting site (Bet365) ran a book on a WWE PPV a few years back, a few matches were open for bets. Benoit vs Jericho ladder match for the IC title and the ME of Austin/Angle/RVD. I cleaned up on it, as did a few others. They never again took bets on wrestling ! I remember another big UK site (William Hills) had 2 bets open for most of the year, who would win the 2001 RR that year (Goldberg was in the betting at about 10-1!) and who would be champ at the end of the year. I think Y2J was priced up at 14-1 and Im sure they took a fair hit on it at that price.
TheFranchise Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 ^^^ Thinks every one of you would have bet on Jericho to beat Michaels at Mania 19 had you had the chance..
Guest thrall585 Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 I don't think that "Rod" Conway will be put through a table first, maybe Rob Conway.
TheFranchise Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 I don't think that "Rod" Conway will be put through a table first, maybe Rob Conway. $30 on Rod
Guest Super Pissed Smark Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 ^^^ Thinks every one of you would have bet on Jericho to beat Michaels at Mania 19 had you had the chance.. I seem to recall just about everybody on the board convinced that Booker T had to beat Triple-H at WrestleMania as well.
Guest The Grand Pubah of 1620 Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 I unsterstand odds like 10-1 and speads, but I am not familiar with this type of odds system. Could someone clue me in? This has to be too good to be true!
Guest VictorZ Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 No, this is too god to be true. But I have 50 bucks I can throw away so what the hell.
