The One and Only Angel Season 5 Thread

They have Wolf, Ram and Hart shirts available on that site too.

Hit me up with some e-mails on that project Mole. I've been working on my own script lately (still storyboarding at this point) about a merc who has morality forced upon him.

Buffy Spike vs. Angel Spike

If there was any question?! Buffy Spike was a pansy who followed Buffy around like a lonely dog. Angel Spike is a man's man.

Nah, bad-ass Slayer killing evil Spike would show up and whoop em both :D

For convenience, I will be assuming all the particpents are healthy and not injured.

Xander vs. Gunn

Isn't it obvious? Gunn is very, very strong for a human. He also has much more experience fighting than Xander and knows how to use weapons (including guns). You have to remember that Gunn killed vampires on a regular basic.

Willow vs. Illyria

Willow would be holding back for fear of losing control of herself. She also may be distracted by Illyria being in Fred's body. Illyria, while greatly weakened, is still an Old One. She has great physical stamina and super-human strength. If Willow hesitated for a moment (and I believe she would) Illyria would crush her.

Buffy vs. Angel

This is a tough one. Buffy has defeated Angelus, but hasn't really fought Angel before. While Buffy has the strength and speed advantage, Angel has much greater stamina and durability. Keep in mind that Angel doesn't breathe and thus won't get winded from a long battle. However, Buffy has been able to defy the odds time and time again. She's beaten The Master, Angelus, The Mayor, Adam, Glory, Evil Willow, and even the First Evil itself. She would find a way to kill Angel.

Giles vs. Wesley

I've got to go with Wesley on this one. He's younger, is skilled in various forms of weaponry, and has those nifty gadgets. Giles has experience on his side and is no slouch in the fighting department, but I still don't see him beating Wesley.

Andrew vs. Lorne

As far as we know, Andrew has not developed any fighting skills. He also doesn't seem to employ his summoning ability anymore. Even though Andrew knows much about demons, I don't see that helping against Lorne. Lorne can survive being decapitated. I would assume that he was given SOME combat training by his clan.

Spike BS vs. Spike AS

The Spike from "Angel" defeated Angel. That's all that needs to be said.

OMG, the W&H shirt is so cool. I think I'm going to buy it.

They need an Anya/Xander shirt.

No contest, Senior Partners. Andrew and Anya were taking out Ubervamps by the end, they were pushovers. The SP had 100-ft tall demons and DRAGONS. And Izzy. And Hillary Clinton.

Here's a good one for all you Firefly fans: Caleb vs Hamilton

Looks like we'll be getting this earlier than expected! (Swiped from whedonesque.com)

According to an insert found in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Season 6 set, we should see season 7 in October, 2004. That's about all we can tell you now; we should have an announcement from Fox in a few months (July/Aug).

Angel has an overnight of a 3.3, which is up from the 2.7 they had the past 3 weeks. There overnight usually goes up, so I see it around 4 something which is pretty good for the finale.

First vs. SP is tough, cause the First evil is the first evil, which technically should win... but the First was just so stupid that I can't see it winning against the Senior Parnters and their shadow army.

Hamilton would whoop Calebs ass. See, Caleb was beaten by regular strength buffy, while Hamilton was beaten by Angel after he drank hamiltons blood.

Plus, Hamilton fucked Harmony.

Well we would have to go with recharged Caleb against Hamilton.

i personally think it would be a pointless fight with both of them getting great one liners and breaking the room, but ultimately standing back up and dusting themselves off.

Besides, Hamilton got punched to death. Caleb had to get cut in hald by magical scythe thingy.

She's beaten The Master, Angelus, The Mayor, Adam, Glory, Evil Willow, and even the First Evil itself.

To be fair, Buffy didn't beat Evil Willow. Xander and to a lesser extent Giles did.

And if you REALLY want to be fair, Angelus could've won. he was just being a dick. I mean if he really wanted to, he could done like Codry said, just slit her throat in her sleep instead of making charchol drawings.

Glory could've won, but she really didn't give a flipping fuck about Buffy. She was too busy trying to get home. The First COULD'VE had Caleb Kill her but didn't want some new slayer getting the power and wanted to take her out last.

So basically, Buffy Survived through circumstance.

Plus Buffy has had help.

She was killed by the Master, but Xander brought her back.

She had Willow de-Angelusfy Angel as-well-as Spike turning on him.

She had Giles (and probably Xander) set up all the explosives in the school for the Mayor PLUS had the graduating class on her side.

She had Xander, Willow and Giles make her into a Super Slayer.

She had the whole gang fighting against Glory in some way (Xander picking up the spare, Willow zapping Glorys mind and power, the Dagansphere and War Hammer as thought of by Anya...)

She did dick nothing vs. Dark Willow.

And SPIKE was the one who did the most damage in the Series finale. However, Buffy _did_ find the Scythe which helped all the SIT's and stuff (and did get help from Angel vs. Caleb).

Just for Anyanka...

Also, I'm PUMPED S7 of Buffy is out so quick, I purposely missed out on the R2 release because it was around Eliza meetage time and my money went to that but the DVD actually ended up having an error in 'Touched' which resulted in over a minute being cut from the episode. So with such a short time between releases, I'm so very glad I waited, I'm sure there's no way there would be an error in this edition.

technically, Giles beat Glory. Once Ben recovered, Glory would've been real pissed, so all Buffy did was prevent her from going home and then killed herself.

That figure looks terrible! She looks pregnant and her head looks nothing like Emma.

The thought of Anya pregnant is so cool though...

I'm hyped season 7 is coming out sooner. I hope they speed up the last two Angel sets too.

I think it looks like Alyssa Milano's character from Charmed more than it does Anya.

Fast National ratings for Sunday, May 19, 2004.

The hour-long finale of "That '70s Show" and the penultimate Wednesday episode of "American Idol" pushed FOX to an easy ratings win.

FOX started the night in the lead as the season's finale two episodes of "That '70s Show" did a 7.0/12. CBS was a close second with the 6.7/11 for "60 Minutes." ABC's two episodes of "My Wife & Kids" averaged a 5.3/9 and beat NBC's reairing of a "Friends" retrospective. On The WB, "Smallville" had a 3.6/6 to solidly thump UPN's "Star Trek: Enterprise."

The "American Idol" results show gave FOX a 13.1/20 at 9 p.m. to beat the 7.5/12 for the first hour of ABC's "Bachelor" finale. NBC got a 7.2/11 out of "The West Wing," dropping CBS to fourth with "The King of Queens" and "Everybody Loves Raymond." The series finale of "Angel" gave The WB a 3.3/5, better than "I'm Still Alive" on UPN.

I know he could have killed her very easily, but that isn't Angelus' style. He needs to fight one on one.

Amen to that. I always try to get my 3000th, 4000th, 5000th, etc, in a Buffy/Angel thread.

So now that it's over are we going to do the "Best Episode Ever" tournament thing like we did when Buffy ended?

Yep, I am starting it as we speak.

On another note, how cool is my new name?

No offense dude, but it really doesn't roll off the tongue or sound right.

Yeah I know, too many animals.

But I had to give my props to Angel somehow and MoleAngel isn't too, well, ghey.

Eh, I got tired of it. Why, I don't know, seeing how I was molestomp for the longest time.

Plus the fact I really marked out everytime they said, "The Wolf, The Ram and The Hart" for some odd reason.
