Guest RollingSambos Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 Shane "Hurricane" Helms and Rodney Mack got into a legit backstage fight at this past Saturday's RAW brand house show in Knoxville, TN. Helms had apparently told Mack how he wanted to lay out their tag match (Hurricane & Rosey vs. Mack & Mark Henry). Mack then put in his ideas as well, which upset Helms who felt that since he was the veteran, he should get to lay out the match. The two then exchanged words and a fight broke out. The fight took place in the press area of the building, and resulted in Hurricane being taken to the hospital. Source: 411
bob_barron Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 Well it looks like the White Boy Challenge continues
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 Hurricane doesn't back the Mack.
Zetterberg is God Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 *Prays to God this will lead to Mack being fired*
Guest JMA Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 Well, Helms IS the verteran and better worker. The WWE should put Bradshaw to good use (which would be a first) and have Mack "pay his dues." Baby-oil and shower rapes, yeehaw!
Guest Polish_Rifle Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 Thuggin' and Buggin' does not translate to a long tenure for Mack.
Guest Korrosive Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 I knew this was coming. If Hurricane had won the fight everybody would be rejoicing and kissing up to Helms. Now that it's reported Mack won the fight and of course, because he isn't an I.W.C darling, he should be "fired".

I'd liek to see "the veteran" excuse used if someone you didn't like did the same thing. Helms got worked up over nothing (it seems) and he got fucked up for it.

Ripper Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 Exactly. THEY got into a fight. you can't fire Mack because he won. Not that I give a shit about the guy, but still. And Helms will fight anyone, won't he. lets see: Goldberg Buff Bagwell Rodney Mack I like the guy and all, but maybe he has a temper problem.
Mecha Mummy Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 As much as I love him, if this is true Helms was completely wrong here. There is no reason that Mack shouldn't be able to contribute his ideas, even if they aren't used. Fuck the "He's a bad worker so he deserves this" shit.
Guest Polish_Rifle Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 Didn't Mack used to be undefeated in toughman contests before he became a wrestler?

I'd liek to see "the veteran" excuse used if someone you didn't like did the same thing. Helms got worked up over nothing (it seems) and he got fucked up for it. It's not bullshit. Mack isn't as good a worker as Helms. Therefore, he should not be planning out the entire match.

Guest RollingSambos Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 Helms has a rep for having a bad temper and liking to fight. I remember Matt Hardy talking about how when he first discovered Helms, he was always up for a fight despite the fact that he was a toothpick.
Jobber of the Week Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 I knew this was coming. If Hurricane had won the fight everybody would be rejoicing and kissing up to Helms. Now that it's reported Mack won the fight and of course, because he isn't an I.W.C darling, he should be "fired". I hate both guys equally, I want Mack to be fired because one is bad enough but having both is unbearable. Fair enough?
Guest Markingout Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 He deserved it if he acted like such a cock. Just because he is new or you have more experence you don't act like a total dick
Guest webmasterofwrestlegame Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 Hurricane had probably seen Mack wrestle and thought 'this guy isn't taking this match down the crapper'.

Fire Goldberg and Mark Henry. There problem solved.
JasonX Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 When the hell did Helmse get into a legitamite backstage fight Goldberg and Buff Bagwell and why?
Guest The Real Nosferatu Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 He deserved it if he acted like such a cock. Just because he is new or you have more experence you don't act like a total dick See also: The Undertaker When did Hurricane fight Goldberg and Buff? And if he did, its not like either of them aren't assholes backstage. Rodney Mack may suck, but he has the right to give his ideas for a match that no one cares about. Also Hurricane must be retarded to pick a fight with him. Look at the size difference (i.e muscle definition).
Guest Ghettoman Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 Well considering there's no way at all this story was sensationalized and every single detail was included I say it's safe to jump to every conclusion possible. Helms must be sleeping with Shane McMahon.
treble Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 Helms and Buff got into a fight during the Invasion, before Bagwell was released. If I remember correctly, a frozen bottle of water was used by Hurricane as a weapon.
Guest Ram Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 "It's my turn to plan out the match, dumbhead!"
Mecha Mummy Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 When the hell did Helmse get into a legitamite backstage fight Goldberg and Buff Bagwell and why? I don't remember the Goldberg one, but Hurricane and Buff got into a fight soon after WWF bought WCW. Bagwell said that Hurricane would never be someone or get over and all that cal and they got into a fight over it. Ironically, Bagwell got fired soon after and now Helms is an over midcarder who has actually flirted with the main event scene.
justsoyouknow Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 I wonder if Hurricane is in the hospital because Mack tried to give him a Tiger Bomb and ended up dropping him on his head... Anyway, Hurricane shouldn't have been such a dick. Mack is like twice his size, anyway.
KTID Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 He was never involved in a fight with Goldberg, just to clear that up for whoever claimed he did. He did, however, get into a fight with Bagwell shortly after the WCW wrestlers began "invading" the WWF.
AndrewTS Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 If Helms started it, he's an idiot and an asshole. If Mack started it, he's a asshole, although an asshole with shitty matches. So many pro-wrestlers are such fucking babies.
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 Helms is a silly cockmaster who reads too much of his own press. He's nothing but a joke in the business...really, he down a few flippy flops, but what else? He has the charisma of a brick wall, and he would have been canned during the inVasion if it wasn't for that lame comic book gimmick.....and gimmick that shoulda been put out of its misery over 2 years ago.
