And if he did, its not like either of them aren't assholes backstage.  Rodney Mack may suck, but he has the right to give his ideas for a match that no one cares about.  Also Hurricane must be retarded to pick a fight with him. Look at the size difference (i.e muscle definition). The situation as I see it:  Helms gave the layout of how the match would go down.  Mack didn't see eye to eye on how the match should go down(ie: say he didn't want to lay down fair for the match)  Helms didn't agree, Mack didn't agree with Helms not agreeing. Heated words occured and as Emeril would say BAM! The fight breaks out...  Fact is this all we know is the vague basics and not the full complete SOLID facts.  And as for saying Helms was stupid for fighting Mack due to the size difference...Need I remind you Jericho took on Goldberg backstage AND managed to hold his own against Goldberg, before it was broken up. One can never base a fight on the size difference.

Even if he doesn't lay it out, he's the one held accountable. I've heard this many times before, Â and Foley even mentioned it in "Have a Nice Day", during his match with Rock at SSeries 98, he felt the crowd was dying and knew he'd get the blame if the match went in the shitter, being the senior wrestler. Â So more likely Helms really didnt want Mack to lay it out and shittily (is that a word) and him getting blamed for it.

Enigma Posted September 17, 2003 Report Posted September 17, 2003 Even though Hurricane is the man for beating Buff Bagwell's bitch ass with an ice pack, I have to fault him on this one based on how the story was reported. The story states that all Mack was doing was suggesting other match ideas and Hurricane was shooting them down, citing himself as the veteran and that he should call it. Now, given what I read in Meltzer's newsletter about Hurricane being the one instigating the Goldberg/Jericho fight, I can definitely see Helms being a bitch in this category. Even though he's praised for beating up Bagwell, we must examine what he did. He attacked another person over a disagreement. And seeing his involvement on the Bagwell issue and the Goldberg/Jericho scuffle, I can definitely see Hurricane being given the fair and just blame on this one. As much as I would hate to see it, a punishment to Helms in my opinion would be justified.
