Downhome 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 As most people believe, I think he'll loose it to HHH at SS. The very next PPV that RAW is a part of.

Papacita 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 He should lose it by SS...to Kane if WWE has any sense left. Edit: Actually, Rumble probably would be best, since it makes GB look a little weak to lose it in his 1st PPV defense.

CanadianChick 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 Survivor Series. He loses it to HHH. HHH turns face. HHH takes on Kane and wins at Royal Rumble. HHH takes on Jericho at WM XX. It will be the same result as WM 18. Yeah.

Enigma 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 Well, according to Meltzer, Goldberg's contract expires next March (he only signed a 1 year deal) so he won't be having that belt anytime near WM. And also, Meltzer said that HHH was due to win the belt back at Survivor Series. If Meltzer says it, it's the gospel (subject to change).
Guest Dids Report post Posted September 22, 2003 But isn't the HHH wins at SS plan also supposed to coincide with a face turn? I think it makes more sense for HHH to turn face and fight Orton or Flair at SS- and then to take it back from 'Berg at RR. Although what I'd do is have Jericho or Flair cheat their way into the belt- and then have them face Trips at the Rumble. Either that or send Brock to RAW to have him take out Goldberg. I think Brock's on the verge of growing stale on Smackdown unless 'Taker can pull something amazing out of him. Mostly- I'm just glad that I don't get TNN anymore. 'Cause when Raw sucks- reading the live threads is way more entertaining- and Goldberg as champ=RAW SUCKING~!
Just call me Dan 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 I'd say Goldberg loses at RR or NWO, to the heel who will face HHH at 'Mania, (that is of course if they don't do the alleged brand vs brand card). HHH will turn face at SS and go through the Evolution feuds until RR where he will win it. Whoever this heel is (Kane, probably) will dethrone Goldberg at RR, win the rematch at NWO or lose at RR and win at NWO and Goldberg has a "dream match" with someone at 'Mania and HHH wins the belt there. HHH 2002 all over again.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Report post Posted September 22, 2003 If HHH turns face at SS, they would probably wait till WM. But personally I think he'll get it back before he turns face. So SS wouldn't suprise me.
NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 It all really depends. If Triple H remains a heel....Survivor series. However I wouldn't be suprised to see WWE do something stupid like give the belt to Orton while H turns face and they square off at WM.
Guest hhheld_down Report post Posted September 22, 2003 survivor series to HHH cause its stupid and noone wants to see it... personally id rather see kane win it right now since Kane is getting the big push still

iggymcfly 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 Nah, Kane's winning the title at Survivor Series for sure. If Triple H really did want to use political power to get over as a face, the best thing he could do would be to let Kane run wild for a while as the monster heel champion that HHH finally stops at Wrestlemania. Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted September 22, 2003 It's been said by about every site on the net that Trips is getting the belt back at SS, turning face and then feuding with Orton.
Guest RollingSambos Report post Posted September 22, 2003 Whenever HHH comes back...I'm guessing Survivor Series. For the record, I would rather see the Kane scenario happen, but I can't see Trips as a babyface. I'd rather see Kane go on a reign of terror and have Rock stop him at Mania. JasonX 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 How long will Goldberg hold the title? 1 day? 1 week? 2 weeks? 1 month? 2 PPV's? 'Til WMXX? As of today, it's all but been outright announced on Raw that HHH will get the belt back at SS with the only reason as to why HHH even dropped it was do to him getting married/going on honeymoon. Most likely GB will spend his transition period as champ feuding with Chris Jericho, who will be blamed for not getting Golberg over even though the WWE will most likely be booking Steve Austin to literally castrate CJ's push as top heel just to spite CJ and make him look bad. This will then be used by the WWE to justify GB dropping the belt in a way that allows them to not directly blame GB for being to blame.... The big if in all of this is of course is how will they carry out HHH's face turn. A repeat of last year's face turn (which was simply HHH going away as a heel and coming back with everything being booked to the point of anal-retentive micromanagement to make HHH out to be the returning babyface) will kill HHH's face turn instantly. But it will probably happen with Randy Orton assuming the Stephanie McMahon role and will flop horribly with Randy Orton (who the WWE seriously thinks is the next big thing) taking all of the blame for not getting HHH over. Fökai 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 The title goes through Kane, before getting back to HHH. I'd say the title changes hands at consecutive PPV's (Armageddon, Royal Rumble), so this allows Goldberg to enter the Rumble and do his thing. I don't see Orton, Goldberg OR Kane getting the Wrestlemania title shot right now. Neither of the heels look the part to draw a money match, while Goldberg has his money match somewhere else (Austin?). I'm looking at an outsider getting it - possibly Rock or Jericho. Jericho probably won't do it because it will end with him jobbing and he'll be wiser after the debacle that was the build-up to his '02 WM feud with HHH. Rock is a possibility and I can see him using it as a way to fuck over HHH and get back at him for the Booker T/Hurricane incident from earlier this year and demand that HHH job, which HHH will never agree to.... With the PPV payoff equivalent of a World Title match - especially for the "BIGGEST PAY-PER-VIEW EVER~!" - both men would agree to job to HHH enough times that night to cover an entire career.
