the max Posted September 27, 2003 Report Posted September 27, 2003 The thing that bothers me is that before, celebrities were written INTO episodes, but now, the episodes are written AROUND celebrities. It just shows me that they have nothing for the main characters to do, except non-sensical romps.
RavishingRickRudo Posted September 27, 2003 Report Posted September 27, 2003 South Park fucking smokes The Simpsons now.
Kahran Ramsus Posted September 27, 2003 Report Posted September 27, 2003 The Simpsons nutty professor could be Fry's relative. It would be better if he's a relative of the Professor on Futurama. They'd have more in common Then he would be related to Fry anyways.
Just John Posted September 28, 2003 Report Posted September 28, 2003 If they really wanted to be controversial, they could have Rev. Lovejoy have gay sex with one of the young church going boys like Rod or Todd. Although, I'm not sure he's Catholic, so it may not work (not that I'd want it to).
RavishingRickRudo Posted September 28, 2003 Report Posted September 28, 2003 Bender could move back in time and kill Homer...
Toshiaki Koala Posted September 29, 2003 Report Posted September 29, 2003 Wow, what's next... elderly women showing their breasts? People having sex with mops? Necrophilia?
Guest El Satanico Posted September 29, 2003 Report Posted September 29, 2003 So you see gay characters as a retarded storyline? RACIST!
DrVenkman PhD Posted September 29, 2003 Report Posted September 29, 2003 I don't remember when but SLH was already turned gay. Also, Future Rod and Todd were also gay.
Nighthawk Posted September 29, 2003 Report Posted September 29, 2003 Gay sex on tv is so 90s. Troy McClure fucked fish, they can't top that.
nl5xsk1 Posted September 29, 2003 Report Posted September 29, 2003 I hope that it's either just Smithers, or a random, secondary character. If they took two "mainstream" characters and changed them like this, it'd bum me out. Example: Sober Barney. He's just not as funny as wasted Barney. They turned him for the plot of one episode, and other than the relapse in an episode this season, he's been a relatively boring, unfunny sober guy. If all of a sudden Lenny and Carl's subtle homosexual vibes became UN-subtle, it could potentially alter the way that the writers script their two characters. My apologies for using "UN-subtle" ... I was just far too lazy to come up with a better word there.
Nighthawk Posted September 29, 2003 Report Posted September 29, 2003 My apologies for using "UN-subtle" ... I was just far too lazy to come up with a better word there. Superliminal.
Tawren Posted September 29, 2003 Report Posted September 29, 2003 My apologies for using "UN-subtle" ... I was just far too lazy to come up with a better word there. Superliminal. HEY YOU TWO! JOIN THE NAVY!
BlackFlagg Posted September 29, 2003 Report Posted September 29, 2003 My apologies for using "UN-subtle" ... I was just far too lazy to come up with a better word there. Superliminal. HEY YOU TWO! JOIN THE NAVY! Yeah, ok...
