EVIL~! alkeiper Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 I don't trust the rankings, they had Shaq at #20 or something! That's because Shaq has missed games due to injury.

alfdogg Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 The Alfdogg Asylum selects G Michael Finley with Pick #2 of Round #2.
Lightning Flik Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 that's really not the accomplishment you may think it is. *sighs* nevermind. It was raza I'm playing against... Nevermind Oh and alfdogg picked. WOOO
razazteca Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 It seems all of the commissioners of the fantasy leagues have conspired against me. I wonder if I can get my round 2 pick tonight?
HarleyQuinn Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 (edited) Well to keep the ball rolling and the joint rocking... *Harley walks up to the podium* Harley: With the #3 pick in the 2nd Round, the Gotham Harlequins select the fifth best Rebounder and 65 points shy of 1,000 man out of Golden State, PF Troy Murphy OOC: That now gives me two capable double-double players with Murphy able to do 15-20 and 10 while Marion can go 20-30 and 10. And if I'm lucky, I can nab my Center in the 3rd round Edited October 6, 2003 by DawnBTVS
Lightning Flik Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 Ok flik, make ya pick! How about I say no? What would you do then?
the pinjockey Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 Give you Todd MacCulloch and move on.
Lightning Flik Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 Give you Todd MacCulloch and move on. For the 4th pick of the second round, the Crimson Storm select: Jalen Rose of the Chicago Bulls. *can just hear everyone dying from laughter because of my pick*
Agent_Bond34 Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 Jalen Rose of the Chicago Bulls. Bitch He was my homer pick for one of the later rounds.
the pinjockey Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 One of the later rounds? Where did you think you would get him exactly? He may be a cancer in real life, but he puts up the fantasy numbers.
HarleyQuinn Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 I personally was hoping he'd drift to the 4th round
the pinjockey Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 In a 16 team league I would be a little surprised if he made it past the 2nd and completely shocked if he made it past the third.
Lightning Flik Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 Jalen Rose of the Chicago Bulls. Bitch He was my homer pick for one of the later rounds. Well, I was planning on taking him in round 3, but I figured that I could snag up the guy who originally supposed to be here in round 3. Jalen Rose's actually fairly well balanced all around if you take a good look at his stats overall, so I figured why not draft him and have a good amount of points given out all around. And in one of the later rounds? Dude, you insane? Why do you think I bumped his ass to my second pick? I was worried that I wouldn't get him. Now I've gotta pray that my third pick stays out there. Because I'm guessing he'll be gone before then. Oh well, there's always round 4 guy should he not be chosen by round 3.
HarleyQuinn Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 I'm petrified that my three choices will be chosen prior to Round 3...right now I'm looking at the Center position but might grab my 2nd ranked guy, doubt he'll still be there though
Agent_Bond34 Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 And in one of the later rounds? Dude, you insane? Why do you think I bumped his ass to my second pick? I was worried that I wouldn't get him. By later rounds, I mean like round two or three.
Lightning Flik Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 And in one of the later rounds? Dude, you insane? Why do you think I bumped his ass to my second pick? I was worried that I wouldn't get him. By later rounds, I mean like round two or three. That's the early rounds buddy. Late rounds are 7-9.
Agent_Bond34 Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 Bah nevermind me, I can't get anything right these days.
Lightning Flik Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 Bah nevermind me, I can't get anything right these days. Besides, as you said yourself: "Second or third round" Meaning, I wouldn't have gotten him. So I played out this choice right. Now then, let's see if I can get #3 right without having to fall back to #4.
the pinjockey Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 You guys are worrying too much. I'll start planning my pick within 4-5 picks of my spot. If you plan any earlier you are going to get upended anyway. It isn't like a live draft where you only have a few minutes to adjust to other picks.
Cartman Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 With the 5th pick of the second round, the Celtics select PG Stephon Marbury.
