HellSpawn 0 Report post Posted October 5, 2003 Batman #619 is out now. So... What do you think of Lee & Loeb's Run? What do you think of the end of Hush? Are you gonna stay for Azzarello & Risso?
Vyce 0 Report post Posted October 5, 2003 I haven't picked up 619 from the store yet, so could someone please spoiler text Hush's identity?
Guest Luke Cage Report post Posted October 5, 2003 This guy sums up what I felt about this series. Spoilers within for Hush and for Grant Morrison Xmen and recent Daredevil comics http://www.alltooflat.com/about/personal/s...an/?BlogNum=
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Report post Posted October 5, 2003 I haven't picked up 619 from the store yet, so could someone please spoiler text Hush's identity? The guy behind the HUSH plot was The Riddler However the man in the bandages was Tommy Elliot
Guest JMA Report post Posted October 6, 2003 I just read 619 today. I don't really have a strong opinion on it. It entertained me, I guess that's all that matters (well, not really). I won't be sticking around for the next team. I'm going to be concentrating on Superman: Birthright.
Vyce 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2003 After reading the spoilers, my opinion can be summed up in one word: WEAK. Will this (hopefully) tarnish Loeb's vastly overrated image?
Guest SP-1 Report post Posted October 6, 2003 I don't think this should tarnish anything. There's still fallout that they're going to be taking care of when they come back a few issues from now. HUSH was well written, well paced, and in the end they told a damn fine Batman story that made alot of people talk, entertained alot of people, and kept the title hovering around number 1 for a year or so. Far from a failure or anything resembling one, one any level.
MrRant 0 Report post Posted October 7, 2003 I miss Sass. I talk to him on AIM but he doesn't post anymore. Sass > Then Everyone In This Folder.
Steviekick 0 Report post Posted October 7, 2003 Overall, Hush wasn't that bad of a story. The ending was kind of trainwreckish, but forivable. And I was right that the bandaged guy was Tommy Elliot
starvenger 0 Report post Posted October 7, 2003 I miss Sass. I talk to him on AIM but he doesn't post anymore. Sass > Then Everyone In This Folder. I second that.
Steviekick 0 Report post Posted October 7, 2003 I guess I'll third that...and I don't even know who he is, and I'm just acknowledging it due to group think
MrRant 0 Report post Posted October 7, 2003 It only takes two of us to make you agree to something? Go jump off a bridge. (Someone second that! Peer Pressure!)

My thoughts exactly.... There's no way the outcome could have lived up to all the hype that surrounded it.
Guest JMA Report post Posted October 7, 2003 If anyone is interested, Jeph Loeb himself posts on the DC comics message board. He even has a thread where you can ask him ONE question. It's pretty cool he interacts with the fans so much.
pochorenella 0 Report post Posted October 7, 2003 I miss Sass. I talk to him on AIM but he doesn't post anymore. Sass > Then Everyone In This Folder. Since Stevie really didn't know Sassquatch, then I'll officially third that. The King of Old School is missed in this folder, he was a great go-to guy for overall comics info, and when he gave his opinion it was usually well thought. And I was right that the bandaged guy was Tommy Elliot Sorry about my ignorance, but who's this guy?
Steviekick 0 Report post Posted October 7, 2003 The bandaged guys is Hush. Tommy Elliot was Batman's childhood best friend.
Guest The Last Free Voice Report post Posted October 7, 2003 what issue was that from? Sweet!
Steviekick 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2003 I actually think that was cover...may have to check the archive...
HellSpawn 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2003 Its a variant cover exclusive for DC people.
bobobrazil1984 0 Report post Posted October 10, 2003 It was fun... but a very dissapointing ending. Although... spoilers SPOILERS The Riddler's role was a surprise. But still as an overall ending, man it was weak. Besides that very month, New X-Men had trumped Hush with the "mystery man surprise" end spoilers.
Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted October 10, 2003 You know where Sass DOES post? SNKT. If you feel the need to talk with the man, head on over there and start up some discussion and he'll be sure to jump on in. As for the topic, I haven't been paying attention to the arc, so whatever happened with the Jason Todd thing? Was that just a swerve?
Boner Kawanger 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2003 Whee, spoilers be here. Be weary. No one else is using the spoiler boxes in here anyways. Jason Todd was just Clayface. Now be off with ye.
