Lightning Flik Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 Wow. Again this week not a lot of games needing TBD on Monday. Scary eh?
kkktookmybabyaway Posted October 6, 2003 Author Report Posted October 6, 2003 And Choken is truly the Bengals. Sorry, couldn't resist -- I'm not doing much better...
Cartman Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 Um, I win my matchup no matter what happens tonight. As of right now I have the lead by 1 game...If Indy wins that puts us in a tie, in which I have the tiebreaker
Guest Choken One Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 Yep...I have the POTENTIAL everyweek but just fall short...just like my real life counterparts...
nl5xsk1 Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 1-4 would seem a lot worse if there weren't so many other people picking as poorly as me. At least I'm doing well picking them when it counts, when Mr. Bookmaker has to hand over the $$$ at the beginning of the week.
HarleyQuinn Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 Huh? How'd I lose? I needed GB & SF to win and they both won while the rest of our picks were equal...I was the away team wasn't I? So shouldn't the score be 9-7 me?
Spaceman Spiff Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 We were both 8-8 over the weekend, and we both picked TB tonight, so that's a wash. I won the tiebreaker (predicted 27, GB scored 35, you predicted 24, Seattle scored 13). I needed GB & SF to win You picked Detroit over SF.
HarleyQuinn Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 oh, I was looking at the previous page and saw GB & SF..my bad, sorry

kkktookmybabyaway Posted October 7, 2003 Author Report Posted October 7, 2003 Grumbe, grumble, grumble. With less than 5 minutes in the game, and the Bucs up by several touchdowns, I began adding up season-to-date scores. I checked out NFL.com once in a while to see a score update. Each time I did I noticed Indy got a little bit closer to Tampa, but no big deal. Until I saw 35-28. This was of course after EVERYTHING had been calculated. Oh well, doing all the extra revisions after the game was worth it just to see Gruden's facial expressions late in the game. But to make matters worse, after I had done all the revisions, I couldn't upload them to TSM because Comcast was doing the maintenance thing (Looks over evilly at MrRant). Something I noticed this week. Just about everyone, if not all, took the Raiders and Steelers this week. There were a lot of one-point games in which both players picked both teams. *scratches nuts and leaves...* Atlanta Falcons (Lightning Flik 3-2) d. Bored Posted October 7, 2003 Report Posted October 7, 2003 I don't know if I should happy or sad I'm the only one win team that has out scored his opponents. Anyone going to add up the points for bravesfan's contest this week?
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 7, 2003 Report Posted October 7, 2003 I bet Im in last place in that too.
Cuban Linx Posted October 8, 2003 Report Posted October 8, 2003 (edited) Nice, i'm one of only two 4-1 teams, hopefully i can keep this up. Edited October 8, 2003 by Cuban_Linx
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted October 8, 2003 Report Posted October 8, 2003 ohhhhhhh shit. Me 'n bob comin' down to the wire. By the way, kkk, how did you figure earlier in the thread that Bob would win if the Colts won? I picked indy.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted October 8, 2003 Author Report Posted October 8, 2003 It was a mistake -- should have been the other way around. That's what happens when I try to get this up ASAP at 1ish in the morning. That's why I ask people to double-check my results for them...
razazteca Posted October 8, 2003 Report Posted October 8, 2003 Where is bravesfan at? need results for other contest.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted October 8, 2003 Author Report Posted October 8, 2003 No clue. I saw him on AIM a few days ago. He's in college, and I'm guessing his Internet access is more limited. Haven't heard from him since...
Lightning Flik Posted October 8, 2003 Report Posted October 8, 2003 Huh? I had 7 picks correct? Didn't I take the Bucs to beat Indy? I knew I had the tie breaker, but I had 7 correct? Hm... Will ANYONE win with less than sub .500 correct picks?
HarleyQuinn Posted October 8, 2003 Report Posted October 8, 2003 Damn...lost the tiebreaker by 3 lousy points(8 to my 11) *sigh*
Fökai Posted October 8, 2003 Report Posted October 8, 2003 From the nearest computer lab: My network connection is on the fritz again. I should have the results for this week up later tonight.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted October 8, 2003 Report Posted October 8, 2003 Take your time... The Truth did poorly...
The Ghost of bps21 Posted October 12, 2003 Report Posted October 12, 2003 Did the results ever get posted?
