Justice 0 Report post Posted October 10, 2003 Hey, RobStone started a website! No no no... Rob Stone was against fighting wars as well. Don't we remember the famous thread where he said we had no business in Korea or the First Persian Gulf War?

Justice 0 Report post Posted October 10, 2003 No, I think Dr. Tom made him concede that one (Eventually), though I could be wrong. But WWI was definitely one we should have NEVER EVER ENTERED. Same with Kosovo.
MrRant 0 Report post Posted October 10, 2003 "Faces of the Enemy": Above - Student "peace" activists marching for an ideology that has been directly responsible for the deaths of over 100 million innocent lives in the 20th century alone. Tired of "neo-commies" and limousine liberals going unchallenged on the streets, in the classroom, and in positions of power? Well, do something about it! Firestarter 0 Report post Posted October 10, 2003 Was Rob Stone that Pat Buchanan fan?... Yep. No, I think Dr. Tom made him concede that one (Eventually), though I could be wrong. Dr. Tom 0 Report post Posted October 10, 2003 No, I think Dr. Tom made him concede that one (Eventually), though I could be wrong. But WWI was definitely one we should have NEVER EVER ENTERED. Same with Kosovo. I remember discussing Buchanan with Rob... at least to the point that something could actually be discussed with that waste of sperm and egg. Like anything, though, he wouldn't concede any ground on Buchanan. It's gotten to the point where I've become so tired of his bigotry and stupidity on the other boards that I just ignore him entirely. Hell, I wouldn't put him out with a hatchet if he were on fire. Guest JMA Report post Posted October 10, 2003 Hippies and Communists have very different beliefs, actually. I very much doubt that the stereotypical hippie would enjoy living in a Communist society. After all, they'd have to work. Therefore, the comparison is not a very accurate one. Not that disgruntled blue collar people give a damn. I do enjoy seeing them get all "riled up," though. kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted October 10, 2003 Was Rob Stone that Pat Buchanan fan?... Yep. OK. I never really read much of his stuff, so I can't comment on him. My best defense to these diseased pseudo-hippies is just to be happy and dance around at these marches/meetings while they are all angry and bitter at stuff they know nothing about. Laughing at them is effective, too. My only exception to this rule are Free Mumia people, which I have explained what I do to these folk on numerous occasions before... Justice 0 Report post Posted October 10, 2003 No, I think Dr. Tom made him concede that one (Eventually), though I could be wrong. I don't remember that. In which thread? Arg. I'll look for it and post it when I can find it, but I do remember Tom eventually convincing him by saying "Look, we attacked Germany because we have a vested interest in seeing places like Britain survive" or something like that. But WWI was definitely one we should have NEVER EVER ENTERED. Same with Kosovo. Say what? How do you figure? Not my words, his. He thought we shouldn't have gotten involved in WWI because of a boat and Kosovo should have just stayed a "Regional dispute" or something like that.

Guest JMA Report post Posted October 10, 2003 Isn't that wacko Rob Stone posting at the NO MA'AM forum now? Bravesfan told me he'd become less of a douchebag. Any truth to that?

Dr. Tom 0 Report post Posted October 10, 2003 There's truth to the fact that he posts on the No Ma'am board (well, presuming people still post there), as well as SNKT and probably WDI. There's absolutely no truth to the rumor that his douchebaggery has decreased, though. If anything, he's more intolerant, and intolerable, than ever.

Guest Olympic Slam Report post Posted October 10, 2003 Do people even KNOW what communism actually is? Every REAL Communist I've ever locked horns with says this very thing. I love how commies hide under a blanket of pseudo-intellectual deception and confusion. I had a history teacher last semester who made every single political statement ultra vague so as to make all of us look stupid by comparison. He couldn't fool this young capitalist though
kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted October 10, 2003 I like how your depiction of the average liberal resembles some sort of fucking cartoon ideal. I'm not talking about liberals -- I'm talking about pseudo-hippies. Pseudo-hippies are just one branch of the Liberal Tree. And yes, I treat pseudo-hippies like cartoons because that's what they are...
Guest Cerebus Report post Posted October 10, 2003 "Many political words are similarly abused. The word Fascism has now no meaning except in so far as it signifies "something not desirable." The words democracy, socialism, freedom, patriotic, realistic, justice have each of them several different meanings which cannot be reconciled with one another. In the case of a word like democracy, not only is there no agreed definition, but the attempt to make one is resisted from all sides. It is almost universally felt that when we call a country democratic we are praising it: consequently the defenders of every kind of regime claim that it is a democracy, and fear that they might have to stop using that word if it were tied down to any one meaning. Words of this kind are often used in a consciously dishonest way. That is, the person who uses them has his own private definition, but allows his hearer to think he means something quite different. Statements like Marshal Petain was a true patriot, The Soviet press is the freest in the world, The Catholic Church is opposed to persecution, are almost always made with intent to deceive. Other words used in variable meanings, in most cases more or less dishonestly, are: class, totalitarian, science, progressive, reactionary, bourgeois, equality." - George Orwell

Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted October 10, 2003 Do people even KNOW what communism actually is? Do you? I find it funny that every person that leans to these beliefs try and say that. I've read most of Marx's stuff. The guy was all about violent social uprisings. Communism also brought us tanks rolling over protesting students in China. Vyce 0 Report post Posted October 10, 2003 No, I think Dr. Tom made him concede that one (Eventually), though I could be wrong. But WWI was definitely one we should have NEVER EVER ENTERED. Same with Kosovo. Why should we have never entered WWI? We contributed SIGNIFICANTLY to the defeat of the Central Powers. Germany was running out of steam rapidly but it's unlikely France (who's army fell apart in 1917 and, IMO, never recovered - even to this day) would have held its part of the Western Front and that essentially meant the entire weight of the war would have rested on Britain's shoulders (and it has carried it, at that point, for far too long).
