That's the first time I've ever heard of a gangbang being called funny.

I'm pretty sure this is a Most Hated Characters list. They talk about hated characters in the paragraph explaining the list. It's just been titled badly.

It can't be a "Worst Characters" list. There's many good characters on the list and there are much worse character than some that are listed.

16. Ernestine, "Laugh-In"

This is probably the only character on that list that was deliberately designed to be annoying. And trust me, I do get creeped out by Lily Tomlin's portrayal of Ernestine whenever I watch Laugh-In reruns. I don't know if it's the face, or the grating voice, but man!

"A gracious good afternoon, is this the party to whom I am speaking? This is Ms. Tomlin from the phone company..."

And I'm probably the only one who'll mention Ernestine, right? LAUGH-IN!! :headbang:

How the hell did Diane Chambers make the list?  The show was much worse after she left as her contrast to the other characters made the show great.

but she was fucking annoying as fuck

And even if she was, Rebecca was much worse than her

somebody please tell me ONE THING on 'full house' that was funny. ONE THING. pick any episode; i'm pretty sure i've seen almost all of them, and i can't think of ONE THING funny in any of them.

even if you can think of one funny thing from 'full house', or even many funny things, it would still not be enough to counter the sheer quantity of horribly unfunny dogshit that those writers subjected america to.

From an ep. where the family goes out to see Joey do his stand-up act....

DJ: "Why do you need a purse?"

Stephanie: "To carry all my womanly things...make-up, keys to somewhere, and an orange (pulls out an orange)."

Oranges = comedy.

The character I think I hated the most on any show I watched was Assistant Director (later Deputy Director) Kersh on the X-Files. It was as if they made sure the character was a disagreeable and dense as possible, and then in the final episode he does a big swerve? Give me a break.

Phoenix, correct me if I'm wrong, but you're quoting that ep because it was just on last night, am I right? I was watching that at 5 in the morning and needless to say, my priorities in life were questioned sometime during the third "joke" of Joey's routine.

Full House is just a bad show looking back on it, but it's sort of like Saved By the Bell, in that if you grew up watching it, you know it's crap now, but a part of you still embraces it for sentimental reasons. Besides, there were a couple of ok seasons where there were actually some decent episodes. But the early episodes were all about whiney DJ and I won't even touch the show's last couple of seasons that were terrible even by its standards.

And Urkel was actually funny until his character was just beat into the ground. That was around season three or so out of the show's approximate 32-season run, so needless to say, his character wore out its welcome quite quickly.

As for Diane Chambers, I don't really think she was ever meant to be a character that you really liked a whole lot. She was your typical, condenscending character that served as the wet blanket of the cast. Of course, the fact that she really was like that ensured that the character played the role to a T. I haven't seen anywhere near all of the episodes, but I think that there are plenty of good shows after she left. Although she was more crucial to the show because she was more or less the second main character, I missed Coach more than I missed her.

That episode was on just the other night, but damn if I didn't bust out laughing and the non-chaulantance of the orange. But as far as shows from childhood that you keep watching after you grow up, Full House is probably the one I'll back up the most.

Agreed. I'd put Rebecca on the list before Diane...of course, I'd put Cliff on the list before either of them.
